Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!
You could not help but to curse in mind as you continue to be cautious of your surroundings. The look of your right hand man worried and frightened face still vivid in your memories.
Walking around in the streets of the capital of Inazuma is the last thing you want to do specially in times of these.
Those fucking Fatui really knows when to pick a date for a party. They were also the one to blame for the decree, celestia. Just when will those punks stop giving you headaches.
Looking down on the child wrapped around in clothes peacefully sleeping in your arms, you could not help but to give a tired yet genuine smile.
Hiding it under the rob that you're wearing right not, using your free hand to even lower the hood to hide away your pale, sweat covered and exhausted face. You continue to made your way out of the capital.
It happened three days ago, right after a few moments you gave birth to your son, a fatui launch an attack to your home. It was a bad timing, specially when you had a hard and tiring labor.
Even now you knew you shouldn't be running around but you also knew it would only be hours or moments before you'll be added to the wanted list.
You don't know how you manage to stay under the investigations for so long but it seems like someone has been desperately trying to protect your information.
"Excuse me"
You spoke as you went through the crowded place
You have to get into the Fort Fujitou where the pushed back forces of the resistance is located. You knew you should have gone in there a long time ago but that would only make others who was already watching you suspicious.

But now that is the only place safe for you and your child.
Gasp!
"Oh my! Such a young man!-"
You made a mistake turning to face the source of the gossips around you, because as soon as you do. Your body, despite the exhaustion moved on its own.
Shit!
Another gasp can be heard among the crowd
Shit! shit! shit!
"Shit!"
You could not help bit to curse under your breath, holding your child securely in your arm while the other went to grab the pole arm weapon nearby.
"Give me your hand Tohma!"
"Hu-!"
You cut off the rope binding his arms, holding up your breath as you extend your arms from behind gripping tightly as the weapon before throwing it into the direction of the Raiden Shogun about to cut off a blonde young man.
"Grab him! Hurry!"
You urge the young man right beside you
And he did, rushing to help the traveler, he grab him as the Raiden was preoccupied, blocking the pole arm that went of her way with her sword. You're pretty sure she doesn't missed that moment to look at your face hidden beneath the hood.
Nevertheless, you're pretty sure she did not see it, except for your (hair color) locks that slip off your hood.
So as you turn your back at her as you and the blonde guy as well as Tohma and the fairy like thing flee from the scene, you didn't look back.
It didn't took you too long to find a place to stop and have a conversation. Though you gave them some time to talk as you lean against the railings, sweat dripping down your chin feeling exhausted even more.
Just what in the world were you thinking helping other even in such situations you're in.

Suddenly a cry can be heard in your arms causing your (eye color) iris to drop right under the cape you're wearing where you're holding your infant son, now crying.
Which cause the two man not so far away from you to turn into you. At the same time not minding their glaze, you finally revealed the source of noise.
"No- it can't be. My? My Lady (First name)?"
As Tohma voice tremble
"Tohma. Took you awhile to recognize me"
You smile at the guy, pulling the child close to you who seems to quiet down in an instant after hearing his mother's voice
But then his glaze was focused on the bundle in your arms.
"That- My Lady, is that-"
"Please don't tell Ayato"
You spoke, not letting him finish his words as you lower your hood
For there was no point of denying, who ever get to see your child would know who the father was. It was obvious in one look, light blue hair, identical mole under the lips. Even you knew which eye color was hiding those eyelids.
"But-"
"If Ayato knows he will step in, he will be turning his back on the Raiden Shogun, I know he will. And if that happens the Kamisato Clan would be involved, I will not forgive myself if that happened"
You spoke
"Please don't tell him, I'm begging you Tohma"
You pleased the man who could only bit his lips in return before turning away, but eventually nods
"Then I must go"
"Wait My Lady where are you going?"
"Fort Fujitou"
You spoke, pulling your hood over your head
Looking at the peaceful child sleeping in your arms. You once again had a genuine smile on your face.
"Then would you mind taking me with you?"
"Why- oh. You're the outlander"
You blink
"I've heard stories about you"
You gave him a small smile under the hood
"Then if you don't mind, I'll show you the way. We'll be on your care"
You bow into him with respect, keeping the child safe and warm in your arms
A couple of hours later, there was a knock on his window causing a certain light blue hair man to pause from his works, purple iris perking up to glance at the window side of his office.
"Speak"
He spoke, setting his quill down on the table
"My Lady has successfully left the capital earlier, My Lord"
"Was there anyone trailing after her?"
"That- My Lord, yes there is. But it has been taken care of"
By that report he could only humm in relief, it was good that you were safe.
"Was it her righ-"
"No, My lord. She and her right hand man have been separated the night the manor was attacked. It was the blonde outlander who was with My lady"
For a moment, he held his breaths. Nevertheless he calm down, trying to suppress the feeling of jealously swirling on his chest.
Eventually he took a deep breath.
"Well then as long as she's safe it's fine. Was there anything you need to tell me?"
"That- My Lord, I'm afraid but I think My Lady is hiding something from you"
You we're always been aware that someone from him was watching you yet you never seem to care, but that changed a few months ago, you we're rarely seen by anyone except your people.
Even his subordinates were having a hard time knowing why, but the fact that you manage to escape that night seems like there is nothing wrong with your health.
"I know"
He said with a sigh, purple iris looking at the photo of you on his table side
If you want to hide something from him, then fine he'll let you, he was just hoping he was doing the right thing.
