A woman with black hair and violet iris spoke to him shaking her head upon checking on your laying figure on the bed

"What do you mean?"

Ayato could not help but to gulp, resting on his arms was his son who look very much identical to him

He still remember the first moment he saw his pair of mother and child, you who look so weak and pale resting on the bed of your quarters as his son was in a separate room.

The look on your face when you woke up only so see him holding your hand, weakly saying your sorry to him. But he could not careless, he wanted to cry right in front of you at the same time he knew he could not. Showing his weak side to you in your times like this would only make you feel bad.

With a sigh, the black haired pharmacist doctor could only sat down on the bed next to you

"You.. You're her husband right, oh wait I can't see ring on both of your fingers so whatever. Anyways, were you with her after she gave birth?"

By her question he could not help but to flinch,

"No.. I'm not with her"

"Okay then who's with her?"

"I am"

"Oh the outlander"

The black haired female then proceed to look towards Ayato, smirk going on her lips before looking back at the blonde outlander

"Well then after she gave birth what did she do?"

"Well that- I could answer"

It was your right hand man

"Not to long after My Lady gave birth we were chased by the Fatui and My Lady and I have no choice but to flee the manor and get separated and that is were the traveler comes in"

"Well not to long after I met the Lady you could tell that she was really working hard. There were also times were I would visit the child and she was doing her work, I think there was no moment I see her not working."

Aether trail off her a moment before continuing

"Ah that makes me realize, there was that one time were she had a a nose bleed and brush it off saying it has happened a lot back then, that same day she went slump on the floor saying her legs gave in, basically it went numb"

"In short, she haven't had a proper rest after her giving birth. She continue to work herself to death despite the early signs of exhaustion. And did you said just after giving birth she was needed to move around getting chased? Oh my goodness! She's lucky not to have suffered from hemorrhage. No, she's lucky she's even alive at this point"

Everyone was speechless inside the room, everyone was holding their breath at the words of the black haired doctor who was rather amused by the situation.

"Can you treat her?"

"I can, but why should I?"

As the woman crosses her arms on her chest, her violet iris met his pair of purple ones

"What in it for me?"

She woman spoke

"I could give you everything you want"

"Then how about you set us a date?"

The woman smile at him

There was a few moments of silence, all he could do was to stare at the sleeping child in his arms. It was all thanks to his little guy he was able to get himself together.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that Leanne, I'm only loyal to My-"

"Who said I was referring to you? I'm talking about that friend of yours and your sister. Tohma"

The said doctor blink at him

Then she laugh

"Oh my goodness! Do you think I'm crazy enough to force myself to someone else lover?"

She shake her head

"Then again, I'll treat her. But it'll take some time, as I said she is pretty much exhausted to death. Honestly I'm pretty sure if it's anybody else they would have dead at this point"

"Stop saying things like that"

"But that's the truth, you should be thankful she's not dead by his point"

Leanne, the doctor blink at them

"Anyways, I'll do my best to treat her. It would be hard, but not impossible"

"But the other doctors said it was impossible, what makes you special to treat her?"

It was your right hand man who spoke

That was truth, most of the doctors who came to check you all said the same thing, that there was no hope for you are slowly dying.

"You're not going to do some crazy experiments with My Lady, are you?"

"Do you think I'm crazy enough to do such thing? Specially on the special someone of the leader of the Kamisato Clan?"

The black haired doctor could only roll her violet iris

"Just think of it as a favor from a friend"

The black haired woman whispered

You helped save this country, there is no way in hell she'll let you die. Plus she have seen so many goodbye in this world, she could tell for a fact that you don't deserve to go yet.
