《Their Shattered Angel》The usual

~Magnolia~
Being woken up by the least soft person in the house is not the best thing I can tell you. I was a grumpy all day long. I even ended up ramming into a poor girl, which made us both fall on our asses in the middle of the corridor. We looked at each other for a second, before bursting into laughter. She seemed nice to be honest.
Any way, that day I got in contact with Gab and actually ended up skipping lunch for this one. He got me some informations that he knew I wanted to hear. Or maybe not.
"Mags, Nick has been off the grid since you left, someone is helping him to hide. We have been on this one for a while, but security is hella hard to crack... Something is telling that we are close though." Gab fills me in with some informations he got from the gang. I am aloud to know since, I used to be apart of that one for a little while thanks to Jace.
"Thanks Gab, it really means something to me you know." I sincerely thank him for the attention he gave me, along with the trust. I can't wait to finally see him, once he brings me the car. Only two more days...
"I need to tell you something else..."he hesitates to continue, probably unsure if it is safe to tell me or not.
"Go on shoot." I convince him.
"Your foster dad...Steve... someone took care of him." He states, which makes a huge silent fill the bathroom where I have been hiding in for the past ten minutes.
"W-What do you mean Gabby ?" Took care of him ? what the hell does he mean with that ?
"Listen, I am not supposed to tell you, you will know soon enough. I have to go sweetheart. I am sorry it's all I have for you right now. I will have more when we meet again in two days." And with that he cuts the call. I stay unmoved looking at my phone in disbelieve. The Gab I know would actually never to do such a thing, it's like someone was behind him, giving him instructions of what he should tell me and not. He seemed definitely off.
I huff at my phone, like a little child and leave my bathroom stall where I have been locked in for at least the last twenty minutes. The words he said about Steve keep repeating themselves in my head, which makes it hard for me to hear the outside world to the point where I didn't even hear Will approach me and repeat my name over and over again. It took me a punch in the shoulder from him to come back to reality.
"What is up with you today Mags ? You have been off since the first period this morning..."he trails off, waiting for me to answer him correctly, I know he won't leave until I give him a proper answer.

"Just tired, that's all."
"I see right through your stupid lie sweetheart. But if you don't want to talk about it, maybe you want to go for a little ride and get ice cream with your great friend Will ?" He smirks and gently nudges me in the ribs, which ends up making me smile.
"That sounds like a good thing to do. I need to buy a gift for the twins anyway, their birthday is in two days." Will smirks when I agree to his proposition and flings a hand over my shoulder, which makes me flinch away from him. He looks hurt and I can't stop myself from looking down, shamefully.
"Did I do something wrong Mags ?" he softly asks me and I quickly shake my head side to side, as I feel his eyes burning right through me. One second later I look up again, a smile plastered on my face, hiding the fear of men touching me behind a bright wall.
"Nope." I pop the "p" and shrug my shoulders. "Just not a person that likes contact, that's it."
Will looks at me for a second longer before plastering a small smile on his face himself. He gestures for me to move forward so we could leave the school property again, and just as we are about to leave I stop for a second to take my phone out of my back pocket. I quickly dial Grey's number and wait for him to answer.
"What's up Angel ?" He responds right after the second ring.
"Hi Grey ! Uhm, so I am calling you to ask you something..." I trail off, slowly, suddenly unsure of my call in the first place. Maybe I should have just left without telling him...
"Shoot !" He cheerfully says and waits for me to continue.
"Okay, so you know it's the twins birthday in two days. I was gonna ask if I can skip the rest of the school day to buy them a gift right now." I stop breathing for second, until he responds back.
"What do lessons do you have this afternoon ?" IS that it ? No shouting ?
"Oh uhm I just have Art class and French." I respond, a bit confused of his little reaction.
"OH you have French with M. Patrick right ?" Greyson shoots with a little laugh and I affirm to his question. "Oh that asshole ! Yeah it's fine you can skip then, it's not a big deal. Just send me a text on where and with whom you are going okay ?" I assure him that and thank him, before ending the call and climbing into Will's car.
We spend the whole afternoon at the mall, looking for a gift for my brothers. I don't have a lot of money on me, so I end up buying two plain black hoodies and a sewing box. I intend on sewing their initials on the hoodie, along with a little symbol that could represent them well. For example a little car for Black and a book shelf for Ethan. Greyson told me about how much Ethan secretly reads in the library in your home. I was shocked, because never in a million years would I have though that he actually liked books. One day I want to know all about his favourite books, it would be nice to share.

Blake on the other hand likes cars, so that's exactly what I am going to sew on his hoodie. I am ashamed of such a small and cheap gift to be honest. If you look around me, every single thing is expensive, even the fucking water looks expensive damn.
As Will and me are sitting on the bench next to the ice cream shop, both of us an ice cream in our hands, his is with mango flavour, mine the basic cookies and cream, his phone suddenly buzzes. He is quick to pick it up and I see the contact of his "BOSS" I think. He excuses himself, before picking the phone up, like a the real gentleman he is.
I watch as Will's face frowns slightly and he turns to look at me for a second, before looking away again. He mumbles small things and ends the call, making it very short. Once he placed his phone back in his pocket he stands up and signals me to follow him.
"What was that about ?" I am not sure if I should really ask him that, because the frown on his face doesn't really give me good vibes.
"Nothing you need to worry about. I have to do something for the work I do in a small Café, so I suggest I drop you off at your house now and then I'll go." he states with our leaving a lot of space to discuss what will happen, so I don't object. I know he is lying by the way he bites his cheek from the inside, but I leave it be.
He is quick to drive me home and soon enough I am standing in front of my mansion giving him tight hug to thank him for this afternoon. He gives me a genuine smile, before passing me the gift he pulled out of the trunk. $
"Sorry for cutting the afternoon short M, I wish we would have had more time." he apologises and waves me a goodbye before speeding away in his car again. I let out a sight, as I look at the gifts I need to hide in my room and start to make my way up the stairs. I skilfully manage to sneak into my room without anyone seeing me. Well expect for the cameras that fill every corner of the mansion, well nearly every corner.
I spend the rest of the afternoon catching up with my homework and even go to the gym for a short hour. Sadly my session gets interrupted by Leo's yells to tell me that dinner is ready. I manage to take a very quick shower and head to the dinner table where all of my brothers are already waiting.
"How was your day Angel ?" Damon questions me when I start eating the lasagna the cook made for us, which is by the way heaven. I look up to my eldest brother and give him a small smile, before responding.
"Oh the usual you know" I know he knows about my trip to the mall by the way he gives me a small smile back and focuses back on his meal.
"Good to know." he responds. " We want to tell you something Angel and with that I need your full attention." He suddenly speaks up again, making me stop my movements. I put my fork back down and look at him, so he can start what he wants to tell me.
"I know you see that things are going on around this house and I know that you are a smart girl, so I don't doubt that you will take it like a queen. " he makes a small pause just to make the tension thicken even more in the room, before continuing. "The business our parents build and gave us isn't just any business. We trade weapons around the world to the most dangerous mafia there exists."
I look at him with big eyes and I see that he is waiting for me to react, but I don't thing he expects what I do next. I Laugh. Hard.
I watch as all of my brothers looks at me and back at each other completely and utterly lost.
"I WAS RIGHT !" I exclaim loudly and cheerfuly, which makes them widen their eyes even more. " I knew you guys were in the mafia or some shi-...uhm some thing like that ! I knew this wasn't normal. Damn ! So who are you ? Who wants us dead ? The Russian mafia ? The Italians maybe-"
"How the hell do you know so much Magnolia ?" Blake harshly cuts my speech of questions short. I look at him, unsure if what the fuck I am supposed to respond to that. Oh I used to date the mafia boss of one of the most powerful gangs is the world you know what I mean ? just the usual... Instead I respond with a simple, but dumb thing.
"Uh Wattpad I guess ?"
