In the car, Anika noticed Shivaay he seemed to be a little lost.

She gave him the directions to the marine drive instead of home. Their home. 

Shivaay-"Yeh toh..."

Anika-"haan maine socha thodi der yahan beth the hain...thoda sa refresh ho jaayenge.."

Shivaay nodded nonchalantly. 

They got off and walked in silence to the rocks in a little isolated area. They sat on the rocks witnessing the waves crash into the rocks.

After a few minutes of silence passed, Anika spoke.

"Its beautiful isn't it ?"

A momentarily smile appeared on his face. "Hmm ..Om mujhe bahut bolthaa tha ki kabhi mere saath yahan...chal...bahut sukoon milta hai ...but..." He swallowed hard. "Maine kabhi uskii baat ko seriously nahi liya. Kaam mein busy rehtha thaa. Kaash tab main Om ke saath yahan aata..." He completed with gret difficulty, his eyes turning moist.

Anika understood that he was undergoing an emotional turmoil, and he could be out of it only when he said out what he felt.

"...hmmm..." She sighed. "Aisi hi hoti hain zindagi...jab hum kissi ke saath hote hain toh unhe for granted lete hain. Magar jab wo person duniya mein nahi rehta toh ye soch te hai kii kaash maine...aisa kiaa hota kaash...waisa kia hota..." A sad smile appeared on her face as she looked away at the horizon.

Shivaay glanced towards her to find her lost.

Shivaay for some reason wanted to talk his heart out. "You know Rudra mera chhota bhai, he used to say bhiya aap bahut boring ho party pe chalo kabhi, aapne life ko bahut seriously le rakhaa hain. Aap jeena bhul gaye hoo...bhaiya kabhi toh paagalpan karo and what not lekin maine kabhi uski baton ka matlab hii nahi samjhaa.Lekin aaj samaj mein aa raha hain.Agar mujhe pata hota kii – it will all turn out to be like this shaayad main unne for granted nahi leta...unnke saath zyaadaaa time spend karta." he sighed as his emotions started taking a grip on him.

Anika felt sad for him."Aap toh lucky hain aapke saath aapki family kii memories toh hain...lekin mere paas toh who bhi nahi ...!!! "She ironically smiled with tears in her eyes. "Mujhe toh yeh tak nahi pata ki mere parents dikhte kaise thee...unka accident hogaya thaa..kab, kaise, kuch nahi pata...orphanage mein rehti thii wahi meri duniyaa thii..!!"

She bit her lip to hold back her tears.

"Bahut buraa lagtaa tha jab school mein koi mujhe lene nahi aata thaa.Doosron ki mummy aati unhee hug karti aur godi mein lee jaaati...!!"

Shivaay wentl in flashback to his memories when he was at school. He clearly remembered how his mother used to come to pick him up and would peck him on his cheeks saying"Mera billu" and he would never like it. Smiling, he looked at her sadly.

"Maine toh apni mom ko bhi for granted liyaa.I was the world to her mere baare mein koi bura bhi bolta naa toh who unn par chad jaati..." He slowly confessed as flashes floated before his eyes.

Anika passed a sad smile. "Phir ek din orphanage mein...maa aayi(her step mom)...unn ke paas...beti nahi thii...mere paas maa.." She smiled animatedly. "So, unne poocha mujhse kii tum meri beti banogi maine haan kahan.Meri life nee naa jaise U-turn le liyaa. Hum dono ek doosre ki duniya thee. Main kyaa jaanti thii ki yeh bas do saalon ke liye thaa. Maa ne mujhe bahut kuch sikhaya who hamesha khush rehti thii.Phir ek din who chalii gayi lekin unne mujhe bye bhi nahi bola..."she paused wiping the tears rolling down her cheeks. 

" Unnhe brain tumor thaa. Lekin unne mujhe nahi baataya thaa. Mujhe bahut bura lagaa thaa. Mplujhe waapas orphanage jaan pada lekin tab maa ki behen, Rohini aunty nee mujhe ek box diyaa maa ne uss mein mere har birthday ke liye letter choda thaa. Lekin who sirf 23 birthday tak hi likh paayi thii..." 

She wipee her tears which slipped despite her command not to. She continues in her voice heavy with emotion. "Unn letter mein maa ne sorry bola ...unke paas choice nahi thii...!!" Her voice trailed off.

Sighing she cleared her voice. "Lekin maine aap ko kyun bore kar rahi hoon " she spoke realising that she had spoken a lot without her knowledge.

"No its fine...its ok..." He said immediately looking at her. 

Anika came back to her point."Main aapko bas yeh kehnaa chathi thii ki kab tak aap regret mein rahenge , aisa hua kyunki yeh honaa thaa...hone ko aap bhi ghar ke andar ho sakte thee jab who blast hua lekin aisa nahi thaa...toh iska matalb yeh hii hua kii bhagwanji ke paas ke liye koi dusra plan hai...!!"

Shivaay understands what she was trying to say. His eyes were still moist.

"Aap ko pata hai Asha Nivas mein naa meri ek friend hai DreamGirl...unki life bhi ups and down see filled thii par who hamesha kehthi hain ki "zindagi kaa koi bharosa nahi ,jab chaye tab palat jaaye magar insaan ko palatna nahi chaiye sirf aage badte rehna chaaiye" 

Shivaay looking confused expressed, his confusion in words. "Yeh asha nivas...DreamGirl..??"

Anika-"Arey wo ek oldage home hain...wahan meri ek dost hai..!!"

"Oh!" He nodded, as despair made way back to his face.

Anika looked towards him intently. "aap kab tak apne past mein rahenge...aapko kya lagtaa hai aap yun past mein khoye rehenge...toh aapke parivaar waale jo aapko upar se dehkenge unnhe bahut acha lage gaa...aapko yun bhiigi billi bante huye. "

Shivaay nods in a no..-"Don't call me bhiigi whatever..!!"

She smiled. 

"Toh plan kyaa hai...Dukhi singh oberoi jaise hii rehane kaa yaan...Sukhi?" She exclaimed trying to lighten the mood.

"It's Shivaay...Shivaay Singh Oberoi..."he says with attitude.

Anika -"itna attitude...!!"

Shivaay smiles.."Tum ab tak Shivaay Singh Oberoi ko jaanti hii kahan hoo?"

Anika-"Ohh toh aap ek number ke Tadibaaz bhi hain..!!"

Shivaay-"Whats tadi...?"

Anika-"Arey tadi maarna...matlab ekdum tashn.."

Shivaay sighed. This girl was weird. "Whatever ...don't call me that..!!"

Anika-"Aapko bhook nahi lagi mere paet mein naa chuhey kudh rahe hain..!!"

Shivaay stared at her with a weird expression."What ...tum seedha seedha kyun nahi bolti tumhein bahut bhook lagi hai...usske liye apne paet mein chuhoon ko daalne ki kya jarurat hai..!!"

Anika-"Paet mera, chuye mere, toh aapko itni mirchi kyun lag rahi hain. Sirf aap hi jo chaaye bol sakte hain kyaa? Aise words use karne mein kitna mazaa ata hai wahi same same boring words poori zindagi use karna bahut pheeka idea hai.."

Shivaay continued to stare at her with a shocked expression. This lady is surely mad.

Shivaay - "Chalee ?"

Anika- "Haan.."

As they walk towards their parked car...

Anika-"Kake ke dhaabe pe chalte hain,unkaa khaana bahut tasty hain aapna ungliyaa chaath the reh jaayenge..."

Shivaay-"Dhaba no way...aur main ungliyan nahi chaat taa hhoon" , he completes awkwardly.

Anika-"Yeh cheating hain abhi aapne kaha thaa naa ki aap zindagi jeeyenge nahi things try karenge toh..?"

"I never said that."he shot back at her.

"Lekin matlab toh wahi thaa naa.." She shrugged.

Shivaay-"No"

Anika-"Please ek baar try maar ke dehkiye...itne boring kyun hain aap..!!"

Shivaay made an annoyed expression" Main boring nahi hoon ...I can also do new stuff..yes ..I can..." He said to himself more than to her.

Anika-"Toh chale... kaake ke dhaabe..?" she victoriously smiles anticipating a yes.

Shivaay-"Done lets go."

"Insaan chaye kitna bhi teda hoon main uss se apni baat man waahi leti hoon...Waha Anika..!!" She muttered to herself following him.
