He returned and opening the door with the key Anika had given him the previous day.He entered to find her cooking in the kitchen.

Shivaay-"Good morning."

Anika-"Good morning...Aap Walk ke liye gaye the..?"

Shivaay-Ahh no , Jog ke liye..!! Anyway I will just go and freshen up."

Anika to herself.."Jog walk kya farak padta hai..uff.."

Fifteen minutes layer he came out dressed in a formal shirt and trousers. Anika was setting up the breakfast.

Anika-"Sahi time pee aaye. Naashta ready hai..!"

Shivaay-"time pe ? we are late, it is 15 minutes to 8."

Anika-"Arey toh ? Office toh 9:30 pahunch naa hai..bahut time hai..!!"

Shivaay -"What 9:30 ? Itna late ?"

Anika-"Late kahan hain sab ussi samay aate hain."

Shivaay-"Ok for today it's fine but kal se 8:30."

Anika-"Kya itni jaldi."

"OK Nine. No argument . Nine is final." He declared decisively.

Anika-"Aap aise kaise time change kar sakte hain."

"Hum dono partners hain. In the company so, I get that much rights." he says with the businessman attitude.

Anika with her mouth in a perfect O – "aapka naam naa SSO theek hain...Stone Singh Oberoi."

Shivaay-"Hey watch that...you can't say whatever you want."

Anika-"maine jo chaye wo keh sakti hoon ...zubaan meri ..muh mera...aur waise bhi maine sahi keh rahi hoon ...ab apne employees ko itni savere bulna zulm nahi toh aur kya."

Shivaay chose to ignore her and opened the hotpot to see what's for breakfast.

"Yeh wala version SSO ka toh ekdum pehle waaley se ulta hain...(previous 9 months) kahan wo pehle bhigi billi banke rahte the aur ab...Bhaagad Billa...yeh toh ek hi din mein sab kuch badal rahe hain." she muttered to herself worried.

Shivaay-"Yeh kya hain? "

Anika-"Alloo ka paratha."

Shivaay-"Itna heavy nashta...mera matlab itna unhealthy nashta." he exclaimed looking at the amount of butter on it.

Anika-"Are unhealthy nahi... healthy hota hai bahut aur yummy bhi...thandi dahi aur garam paratha se din shuru hoye tho din ek dum jhakaas hota hain.." she said in her typical Anika style.

Shivaay looked at her with wide eyes..."no no maine yeh nahi khaa sakta.."

Anika faking anger-"Dehkiye Mr.SSO chup chaap kha lijiye ...khana nahi waste karte... kal jaldi uth kar jo khana hain who bana lena."

Shivaay looked at her. She was ordering him –Shivay Singh Oberoi. Guts!

Anika gulped seeing his look-"...please" she added with uncertainty.

Shivaay nodded and put it in his plate.

"Akdu.."

"You, you said something?"

"Haan wo dahi bhi lejiye.." she forced a fake smile.

He ate and he actually loved the taste at the second bite itself but remained quiet about it.

After finishing breakfast,

Shivaay-"Chale..."

Anika-"Do minute maine change karke aati hoon."

She comes dressed in a long kurta and leggings with a colourful bag and a few files and a diary in hand.

Shivaay gazed at her from top to bottom. Clearing his throat, "Tum aise office chalogi." he had expected her to wear something more formal rather than this dress which was way colourful than her previous.

Anika-"haan.."

"okay..let's go" he said picking up the pile of files.

He drives.

On the way, Shivaay reminded her not to let anyone in office know about his memory loss and she agreed.

He acted in his usual bossy way at office to which the others were a little surprised. To see their Boss with attitude today rather than his usual abnormally silent self who din't care of what was happening.

In the cabin:

Anika was talking to shivaay about the upcoming event on sat. When there was a knock.

Before Anika could ,Shivaay answered the knock. "Come in.." his voice laid with attitude.

Anika passed him a look.

A man entered.

Anika-.."Oh Rohan tum...Aao"

Shivaay looked at him and then at Anika for an explanation

Anika-"Yeh Rohan hain. He is joining our company from today...aur yeh accounts dehkega."

Shivaay was a little concerned. Accounts?

Anika-"Rohan yeh..."

Rohan-"Mere boss number.2 – Tumhare pati." He falshed a smile. "Hi.. Rohan.." he extends his hand towards Shivaay for a handshake.

Shivaay ignored it. "First day and you are late by half an hour.from tomorrow I want you to be in on time..even better if before.!" Shivaay stared at him coldly keeping his tone crisp.

Anika tried to register the situation.

"Sorry " Rohan exclaimed in his playful tone."Waise aapka naam.."

"For you its sir.You can get going, now." Shivaay answered leaning back on his chair.

Rohan feels insulted and leaves.

After he left.

"Pehela hii din hai aur aapne uss par chilla diya." Anika said rolling her eyes.

"Maine wahi kia jo ek boss ko karna chaiye thaa. Waise tumhe lagta hai kii kisi bhi naye person ko company ke accounts handle karne dena theek hai?"

Anika looks at him thoughtfully, he actually made a point.

Shivaay reading her face. "Tell him to work under you for sometime once you feel he is good enough you can give him the accounts section."

"ok".

For some reason Shivaay did not like Rohan a bit. He just din't get the right vibes from him.

He busied himself in work. So did Anika after calling Saumya( an employee in her office) to guide Rohan.

At lunch hour:

"Aap lunch ke liye nahi chalenge..?" she asked him.

"Lunch sab ke saath ? Boss apne employees ke saath lunch nahi karte."

Anika-"Ab yeh rule kahan se aaya..?"

Shivaay-"Agar hum apne employees ke saath lunch karenge toh phir they won't take us seriously. If you get what I mean. The air becomes more informal. "

"Lunch hour working hours mein nahi hota..toh lunch hour mein hum as employees yaa boss nahi par friends ke jaise saath lunch karte hain..!"

Shivaay passed her a galnce. "cool tum jao..anyway I have these files to go through."

"okay." She started walking away. "Mr.Akdu." she said to herself.

As she left, he thought of grabbing a coffee from the coffee machine and left the room soon after.

As she was walking over to the elevator she noticed Rohan.

Rohan-"Hii Annika...Ma'am" he added on second thoughts.

Anika-"Hii Rohan Mujhe mere employees ma'am nahi Ankia bulatee hain...Ma'am sunthi hoon toh aise lagta hai jaise mein school ki teacher hoon. She laughsed. "Waise ...wo tum unki baat ka bura mat maan naa wo thode gussu type hain."

He chuckled."ok Anika."

They both headed together for lunch.

Shivaay who had seen the scene shook his head in disapproval, and went back to his cabin.

As he was busy reading something on his laptop screen she came in.

"Aaiye yeh khaa lijiye." She said keeping a packeted tray of food on the center table beside the sofa.

He looked up.

Anika-"Jaldii khaa lijiye warna thanda ho jaayega."

Shivaay-"Lekin maine kahaa thaa bhok nahi hai."

Anika-"Haan pata hai lekin khaali paet insaan soch nahi sakta ab aap sochenge nahii toh duniyaa kaise chalegi iss liye khaa lijiye." she said walking towards her table.

Shivaay-"What do you mean?"

Anika -"Mera matlab aap files kaise check kar paayenge meri galtiya jo niklni hai aapko."

Shivaay shook his head in disbelief. His hunger finally won over his ego and he simply walks over to the table and settled to eat.

Anika hid her smile, seeing him eat. "Baday aaye bhook nahi lagi."

At the end of the day before closing down for the day Anika announced to everyone that they should be in office by 9a.m from the following day onwards.

This went on in routine until Saturday. The office members now knew not to mess up with their Boss no. 2. Anika was really impressed by the manner of his working. Alyhough he was a littpe overboard bossy. 

Shivaay gave his after-dinner time to researching and finding everything possible about Rana, unknown to Anika. And ofcourse their nok-jhoks continued in the same fashion on the smallest of the small things.
