Grabbing their bags, they took to the trails and walked in silence. To them, though, it was serene. A nice escape from everything and everyone else in New La'Rivera.

Taking a trail they hadn't before, they continued for a few hours, this time towards and probably up the mountain.

An old well came into view, and at Iryna's suggestion, they stopped.

Iryn sat on the well's lip, with Laelynn on the grass next to her.

"I wonder if there's a homestead or something nearby…" Laelynn said, mostly to herself.

"Because of this well?"

"Mhm." Laelynn nodded.

"New La'Rivera was built over an old settlement." Iryna took a drink, "I wouldn't doubt it."

"Maybe we'll find something." Laelynn giggled a bit.

"Like an old, haunted farmhouse?"

"Maybe."

"And if we find ghosts?" Iryna raised her brow.

Laelynn grinned, "I'll take care of it."

Iryna snorted a laugh, "We'll see about that."

"Whaa - You doubt me?!" Laelynn frowned.

"Not saying that… just not super confident after watching you scream in terror at a cat."

"It was hiding and it jumped at me!"

"And I'm sooo certain these ghosts you're hoping to find will be much much more polite." Iryna rattled off quizzaciously.

Laelynn grumbled, and hit her in the side of her leg, "You're a jerk you know that?"

"You know I love you." Iryna grinned at her.

Laelynn sighed contentedly, "Yeah… I do."
