《World of Eden》Chapter 9 - Overflowing Darkness

Raella watched as Yseif’s power increased exponentially. A dark aura surrounded his body like a bubble. The aura was shaped into the form of a Demon. Two horns appeared on Yseif’s forehead. Six angel like wings flap around his back, not in colors of white but deep shades of black.
“Ah, it’s been awhile since I’ve felt free” Yseif said.
“Y-you! Why?!” Raella shouted.
Yseif turned his attention towards Raella. She was still holding the Demon Maid in one hand and Sana on the other hand. Due to extreme fear, the Demon Maid fell unconscious again. A smile appeared on Yseif’s face.
“My dear Raella, you are as beautiful as ever. Still, you aren’t as beautiful as your sister” Yseif said.
Raella’s face darkened at Yseif’s remark. Every women likes compliments, but being compared and told in your face that you are worse than someone else really hurts one’s pride.
“So the other half of yourself finally got released?” Raella said with a tint of anger.
“I wouldn’t call it the other half of myself. I would prefer it more if you call it that I am just being myself now” Yseif replied while shrugging his shoulders.
“You know that if you appear now, Sana’s life will never be the same” Raella informed.
“It’s already not the same, you being here is the perfect example of it”
“You and your pious believers are the ones who destroyed our peaceful lives” Yseif flatly said.
“I-I—“
“Don’t you think so? Your believers destroys villages, kills the innocent, pillages homes, and rules by power all under your name. Don’t you feel guilty? You let them do what they want because they are humans; you even empowered them by giving them your blessings” Yseif continued his remarks.
“I didn’t know…” Raella quietly replied.

“Don’t play the ‘not knowing’ card with me. Don’t you know who I am? I feel all of the victim’s hate, envy, greed, lust, everything!”
“I’ve agreed to fulfill his wishes so I will destroy everything that is a threat to Sana’s peaceful life” Yseif said.
Staring at Raella, Yseif’s attitude became serious.
“That includes you, the Goddess of Light” Yseif proclaimed.
Raella suddenly went on high alert. The killing intent that Yseif was emitting is at a dangerous level for her.
*Swoosh* Yseif appeared in front of Raella. He swung his halberd towards Raella’s arms.
Raella instinctively let go of the bodies in her arms and pulled out her sword to defend.
*Clang* She was sent flying like a bullet, flying across the sky and slamming into the nearby mountain.
Yseif grabbed ahold of Sana and the Demon Main and laid them next to a tree. He then put up a strong barrier around them to protect them from external sources. Yseif’s first objective was completed.
“You f***ing piece of s**t, I was being nice here and you go ruining my beautiful dress!” Raella roared in anger. Her image was a complete opposite of what she was like earlier.
“So the other half of yourself finally got released?” Yseif sneered.
“I will rip that smart tongue of yours out of your mouth!” Raella said in anger.
“Oo, I’m so scared!” Yseif replied while acting scared.
“You little s**t!”
*Fwiinnngg* A sword wave flew across the forest, cutting down everything in its path. The trees were being cut down like a timberman cutting down a tree. Yseif took flight into the skies and dodged the sword wave.
A once peaceful and lush forest was now a desolated and dull wasteland. It’s as if a war had gone through and destroyed this piece of land.

Raella flew from the broken mountain and confronted Yseif in the air. Yseif threw out spears of dark energy across the sky aiming at Raella. Each spear was flung away with each swung of Raella’s sword.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* The spears dropped like bombs, exploding and destroying everything in their wake.
“Is that all you’ve got you s**thead?” Raella sneered.
“My power hasn’t fully adjusted itself…” Yseif mumbled.
“Ha, this is enough for someone like you!” Yseif said instead.
“You’re overestimating yourself too much” Raella replied.
All of a sudden, a ray of light shone upon Yseif’s position. It was a giant pillar of light. The light was like a river of water, flowing freely but harsh like the waves. The light sent Yseif flying towards the ground.
*Kaboom* After a loud explosion, a large dust cloud was formed. Slowly, the dust cloud cleared away and Yseif can be seen on the ground tattered. Standing upright with his clothes torn, he faced the direction of the new enemy.
“Am I too late to the party?” the person said.
“The f*ck are you doing here?” Raella replied.
“Watch that language of yours when you speak to me” the person said.
“Tch…” Raella backed away.
“So it’s two now huh…” Yseif chimed in.
“Seems your power haven’t fully adjusted…” the person said.
“Mind your own business Alcard! He’s mine!” Raella butted in.
“You still harbored a grudge from what happened to your sister?” Alcard asked.
“SHUT UP! I said mind your own business!” Raella exclaimed.
Yseif watched them argue while pondering what he can do. His power still needs time to re-adjust itself. He needs to delay them enough for his power to fix itself. Once that happens, he can fight them head on.
Before Yseif can get his thoughts straight, another obstacle came out of the blue.
Four beams of light showered down on their location. When the beam of light dissipated, four women stepped out and joined the party.
“Well, well, if it isn’t the sl*t Raella and the old geezer Alcard…” the first women smirked.
“Namial, stop being rude and watch what you are saying…” the second women rebuked the first women.
“Speila, back off my case” Namial said.
“Lora, tell your sister too, we aren’t here to play…” Speila said.
Lora was quiet and stared straight at Yseif. Then she turned towards the fourth women, Aviell, who can be seen shaking while looking at Yseif.
“The four sister of the wh*re house in the garden huh…” Raella sneered.
“You bi—“ Before Namial can complete her sentence, she was cut off by another person entering the fray.
The new person had two horns sticking out from its head and four wings sticking out form its back. With a lizard-like tail hanging towards the ground, the person radiated a powerful evil and dark energy.
“Why, almost all the parties are here!” the person shouted.
“Guaron…what are you doing here?” Alcard asked
“Well, if there’s so many of you causing trouble at my borders, why wouldn’t I come here?” Guaron replied with a smile.
Yseif was now in a pinch. Even with all the ideas he had to delay for his power, it’s not enough with this much obstacle around.
The Goddess of Light, Raella; God of the Sky, Alcard; Four witches of Fairy Garden, Namial, Speila, Lora, Aviell; and God of Evil, Guaron.
“S**t!” Yseif grumbled.

Apostle of the Goddess
A disappointed man dreams of leaving the confines of Earth and living adventures in fantastic realms...Suddenly, his wish is granted... Albeit in a far different way from what he could have expected. An isekai genre story with a few elements from LitRPG. The overall tone will be jumping back and forth from light to dark. Expect a lot of references to anime, manga, games, etc.It is written in first-person view and will contain a side-story using a "real-life" character. Initially, the MC will be writing the story as a true journal, so the prologue and first chapters may appear a mess of things that already happened, journal entries, and afterthoughts. A few chapters in, it will change into a normal, first-person manner retelling of what happened (storywise the character "Records" what happened to him). This is a side project of mine, so I will be uploading a few chapters per month. Chapters may have a severe difference in length (albeit I will try to maintain them around 3k), but expect the overall monthly word count to be not less than 15k words.Author recommendation, if you intend to follow the story, read the new updates once a month (counting from the day the first chapter is uploaded). Content Warning: I do intend to include a few disturbing moments to emphasize the darkness of the human (and other beings) nature, so please consider that even though some chapters (especially the starting ones) are kinda like a comedy routine.
