Lancelot Deep Impact chapter 7

Two men were crossing the frozen forest, these men were Hector Press and Frank Rush came from Leon Hu's dungeon.

Hector had splinted Frank's leg because of the encounter of the worst guy Frank had ever had with Leon Hu.

John had instructed Hector to take Frank to the camp to be seen by Dr. Jessica, who was John's wife.

"Bam Bam Bam ..." They heard shots coming from the camp.

"Shit what the hell is going on there!" Hector and Frank thought.

Hector looked at Frank and said:

"Stay here, I'm going to look what's happening!"

Hector ran to the camp, saw that the camp was invaded by a group of men in military clothes, in the camp on all parts were the bodies of the men and elders from the camp, who were probably executed, by the soldierly, they only left the children and to women alive. And they were being mounted on a truck.

Hector did not know what to do or rather knew that he could not do anything. Since Frank with cost could walk and he is not any Rambo, so he decided that it was best to go back to the dungeon and ask León Hu for help.

Hector ran back to where Frank was, I pick him up, to get out of there and he said:

"Lower your voice, do not be an idiot, they are heavily armed, you cannot walk, what you think we can do with a shotgun and a 9mm, we have to go back to the Lancelot dungeon, get together with John and the others to see what we can do."

Hector and Frank heard something approaching them so they were afraid and turned away from the path. Hiding in some bushes.

All they could see was a man wearing white pants and a white vest.

"Hey, that's not John," said Frank.

"You think we should follow him," Frank said.

"I do not think we can reach him, He's going too fast, for a human being!" Hector said.

"Do you still think we should go to the dungeon?" Frank said uncertainly.

Frank said nothing but wrinkled his face reluctantly.

Frank said:

"An armed group has attacked our camp and kidnapped our women and children, you can attack the kidnappers and help us get our family back."

Leon Hu became serious and said:

"This world is where the strongest rule, if you want to recover your family, you will have to do it, with your own hand!"

Leon Hu dodge the question and said:

"If you enter the dungeon, I guarantee that over time, if you do not die, you will level up and become stronger!" Said Leon Hu.

Leon Hu looked at them as if waiting for them to say something and said:

"I buy your weapons and I give you a 50% discount on the basic adventurer equipment" said Leon Hu.

Frank looked at Leon Hu suspiciously and said:

Leon Hu smiled at him with his fang cage and said:

Hector said:

Hector said:

"This weapon need to be restored and I must get some profit from it by selling them!" Said Leon Hu.

Hector and Frank looked at Leon with an incredulous face wondering who the hell he expected to sell the weapons. But they preferred to keep quiet and not complain about the situation.

Leon Hu smiled at them and said:

"Well guys what are you going to buy?"

Hector said:

"What you recommend us, since we cannot even reach the basic adventurer equipment!"

"I sell you 2 equipment F range, € 650 each!" Said Leon Hu .

"The first equipment that showed us was true C range and what is the difference between C and F" said Hector.

"The equipment have the ability to evolve and become stronger every time you level up, but depending on the range the quality and capacity of the item varies." Said Leon Hu.

"This equipment has Luvias?" Frank asked.

"Yes, but they only give you 3 days!" Leon Hu

Hector said:

"How do we get money to buy the equipment?"

"Wait!" Said Leon Hu. Touching the corner of the monitor where show the information of the C-rank equipment, and a menu appeared, he touch support section and then book section. he look for a title that cost € 50 said: 'Lancelot 101 for dummies'.

"What the hell do we want a Book for?" Frank said.

Leon Hu smiled and said:

"Books are the source for gaining knowledge about the past present and the future"

"Do not be ridiculous, why do we need that book?" Frank said.

"This is a Skill Book, which allows you to get basic knowledge of the world whenever possible," said Leon Hu.

"I sell you 2 books for Dummies plus the 2 basic equipment rank F, for the € 1225, stop them?"

Frank and Hector sighed and said:

"We accept"

Leon Hu handed them a sand-colored back pack wrapped in plastic and the Lancelot 101 book for Dummies. Then he sat down, back in his chair.

Frank annoyed looked at Leon Hu and said:

"Is this everything?" Hector said, while he open his backpack.

Leon Hu sighed and said:

"In the backpack there is a Ki reader like this!", Taking one out of his pocket and placing it on his face and ear.

"Generally, they would have to read the manuals to understand the operation of the equipment a little bit, but we are going to skip this step, they will take the book out of its envelope and they will give it to the next message that shows"

When they removed the plastic wrapper the manual, the following message appeared from the envelope:

They knew if they wanted to know the information of all people, objects or monsters in front of them they had to say the command:

"Appraise" to see the information and "dispel" to hide it.

Leon Hu noticed that they were smiling he told them:

"The knowledge of the book is not omnipotent or omniscient. He cannot know everything, and also not necessarily he will give you the answers if you do not ask the questions.

Frank and Hector said:

"Inventory!" So they could see 11 empty spaces, the other 9 spaces were:

"This looks like a football equiment, why it's not as elegant as the C-Rank equipment" Frank said.

"The price and the range are obviously going to see differences." Hector said.

"How do you know that?" Frank said.

So Hector and Frank put on their equipment that made them look like football players, with a sword in one hand and a shield in another.
