Chapter-4

The moment Ainz touched the crystal the world was filled with darkness. Momonga felt his body floating in a deep ocean suddenly a surge of energy began filling him. The energy felt comforting to him so he moved towards it. Suddenly a blinding light flashed and for the first time in a long while he woke up.

"A..ghh..My head hurts"

Soon he tried to touch his head to alleviate the pain but he became shocked. In place of his bony body he felt skin??

"So, your awake boy. After what happened I thought you'd be dead by the time you're here but it looks like your kekkai genkai saved you."

Ainz looked confused , "Boy?"

As far he was concerned he was the mighty overlord feared by the new world. He massacred and took everything he wanted for his and his children's happiness. After all in his mind, "Who fucking cares about those greedy and racist assholes?" was the justification that always stood and thought that If he finds his friends one day finds him and questions about his reasons he would simply come clean and say he fucked up.

Nevertheless, Ainz broke out from stupor to find the man pointing at a water puddle in the cave they were residing in. YES,ainz is residing in the cave suddenly he thought in his black heart "Is it what it feels when you lose your stardom "

Ainz slowly made his way to the puddle which is located at the entrance of the cave to see his reflection. Ainz expected a creepy old skeleton greeting him and scaring himself again like time when he first became sentient in Nazarick but what he saw left him breathless.

A figure which he saw had long black obsidian hair, blue ocean like eyes should little emotion face sculptured to fit the bill of any above average rich handsome guy but failing at the same time. The contrast showed a deep implication of a warrior but not much. He had a lean build but not malnourished.

Ainz finally understood everything similarly to being thrown in Nazarick from the real world. The jewel performed a similar function and brought his soul and bind it temporarily to the body. But the binding is not complete it seems.

"So, boy"

"What is your name?"

Ainz spent a better part thinking if he should go by Momonga or Ainz Own Goal and decided to play the role o the adventurer of E-Rantal.

"My name is Momonga. Might I inquire your name after all it is rude to ask names without stating ones one name"

The man for the better part looked surprised at ain..momonga's shift in attitude. It felt like in the presence of someone from the royal family .

He shrugged and answered "Kuro Uzumaki"

Ainz asked "Where are we? And how did you find me?"

Momonga in his hero-like attitude (Kingly-Mask 36) spoke genuinely to know why he is in the middle of a forest in a cave and also to not give any implications that he could be messed with.

Kuro seemed a bit bewildered and answered " I was in the middle of a fight with the Uchiha clan near the river here where you were seemingly taking a nap like an idiot. Like the fight continued on and during the entire fight and coming here you simply slept like a log until I brought you here"

Ainz hearing the carefree attitude of the previous occupant of the body felt a bit embarrassed and thought if Bukubukuchagama was there she would scold him again for his lack of surroundings.

Kuro said again "But you are pretty durable kid. The Uchiha threw a kunai that tore through your stomach but it healed instantly. Seeing the regenerative kekkai genkai you had it was simply a waste to leave you there to the wolves."

Ainz went towards the Uzumaki and bowed him his to express his thanks. After all Kuro had it hard bearing with his care free suicidal self and felt grateful for the second time.

"Can you tell me about the surrounding places. I kinda spent most of my life in the forest."

The Uzumaki looked contemplating on something then grumbled lowly "I guess not like it's a sensitive information"

Kuro looked towards Momonga "We are currently near the land of water. The world is currently at war and people fight with one another using chakra to empower themselves."

Momonga began thinking about his specific words in his mind "This is just like the previous world. huuh.."

He then asked "what is chakra"

Kuro Uzumaki thought for a while if he should teach the child after all it's a sensitive information. But then scolded himself for being stingy towards a child who has potential for something being something great.

Kuro told Momonga to close his eyes and search deep inside himself Ainz complied and sat at a meditative posture in front of him.

Kuro sat expecting Momonga to take an entire day or more. But then he froze the birds chirping outside began to run away. Every single insects seem to want to leave the place as soon as possible. Then he understood why this happened. The chakra released by Ainz felt like a dam breaking apart and flowing everywhere. It exuded malice and darkness like nothing Kuro experienced in his life. He cannot even describe this feeling as it felt his consciousness will break apart if stood close to it. For the first time kuro felt fear towards his new student.

In his fear he told Ainz to stop and malice emanating from him disappeared and became something calming.

Ainz muttered to himself happily as he found himself a new toy "So this is chakra"
