《The Wonderful World of Emmariel》I didn't ask for this... but

Yes.
That is exactly what should have happened. My life could have reached its conclusive end just like that. I wasn't religious and didn't believe in an afterlife or a reincarnation.
My mother believed that one will be endowed with a better life in their next reincarnation if they accumulated positive karma in their present life.
But spare me from that, please. Though I wouldn't have called myself an over the top atheist, I also wasn't the one who would have believed in such nonsense.
And Karma? It's spoken of in Hindu religious texts that it could be cumulated by carrying out good deeds but what exactly is a good deed?
What could be considered good from one's perspective could be considered evil from another's.
One good deed realised could benefit one but harm another.
At best, I weighed these preposterous aspects of religion as nothing more than human constructs devised over the years by the clergy and the nobility for whatever might have suited their needs at that time.
In my opinion, this was the case not just for my own 'religion' but for other religions as well. By no means, I didn't respect religions. I valued religions for bringing a token of hope and light to people who needed something to hold unto but nothing more than that.
If I had been asked whether I believed in or even wanted to be reincarnated? My answer would have been a big fat NO.
But what was this?
[You have been born as a result of coitus between a Human father and a Titan mother.]
Seriously? 'Coitus', it says. What the hell?
No, forget it. There are a dozen more of these blue windows floating around me filling up my vision.
Not like I have eyes, to begin with. As the next window goes-
[You are currently a fertilised egg. Currently going through the Germinal Stage of development.]
Yes, I'm literally just a fertilised egg right now. That's all my existence amounts to as of now. I have no idea how I can see these windows if I don't have eyes or rather I have no idea why I am still alive.
Seriously.
I was supposed to die. No, I didn't have some sort of crippling depression or anything. It's just that... it's a very long story.
I had actually given up my life very satisfied with it. Not to mention not everyone has what it takes to give up their life unless of course, if they are me. I bet my corpse had a peaceful and contented smile on its face.

To put it briefly, I, was a tired person.
Well, let's stop talking about it.
Aside from that, I presume that my mother and millions of others were correct after all...?
I was reincarnated and with a bang of intense blue lights. No, it definitely isn't lightning or anything. I'm not a Dragon or a God to be accompanied by natural phenomena upon my birth. It's the notification windows I talked about earlier, bright blue and intimidating.
These windows were the first thing I gazed my 'eyes' upon the instance I 'zapped' into consciousness.
Yes, there wasn't the sensation felt when you open your eyes. It was as if my consciousness was birthed along with the windows. It was instant.
Since everything else in my field of view other than these windows is completely pitch black. I can successfully conclude that the sole part of me that presently exists as a part of my 'body' is my consciousness and these windows are being projected right into my 'mind'.
That's just plain creepy. It was as if I was an AI which was yet to be provided with a physical body.
Forget being a fertilised egg. The first window tells me that I'm an offspring of a Human and a 'Titan'.
No. I'm not that surprised anymore. After all, bright blue floating windows and a talking ball of conceptus could only appear in fiction.
As far as my earthly knowledge goes, Titans were deities in Greek Mythology. I might have disliked religion but I was very much interested in mythologies from all around the world. But why me, the great me, which used to be every part human, get reborn as a Titan- or rather a Demi-Titan as the next window corrects me.
[You have been born as the race 'Ancient Demi-Titan'. An offspring of a Transcendent Human and an Ancient Titan.]
The one thing I understand from these mystical turn of events is that this place where I have been reborn is, in every part not human.
No, I'm not talking about my 'Oh, so new' mother inside whose womb(or just wherever, I don't really know how they reproduce) I might be but about this new world, I have been born in.
This definitely is not Earth, to say the least.
Would my mother have believed me if I told her that you can as well get reincarnated to another planet? I bet she would have called me crazy. My mother wasn't very open-minded after all.

Now that I am done clearing up my mind and have calmed down. I should check the rest of the windows. I feel like their radiance is gradually increasing in a very threatening manner.
The next window says- Huh...?
[You are the firstborn child of an 'Ancient Titan' Mother. You will inherit most of the mother's abilities and knowledge.]
[You are the firstborn child of a 'Transcendent Human' Father. You will inherit plenty of the father's abilities and knowledge.]
[Congratulations! You have received 9 of your Mother's abilities and 8 of your Father's abilities.]
Now, what do I make of this? Is this like heredity? Like how a baby inherits its traits from its parents?
The traits of a baby are determined upon the fertilisation of the egg where meiosis occurs. The traits are passed from the parents through DNA.
This appears to be the same situation. I am not even an embryo yet but I have already inherited these so-called 'abilities' from my parents or so it seems. I couldn't help but think of them as traits.
No, I'm not surprised by the mention of abilities. Being non-religious does not mean that I didn't believe in the supernatural. I was a huge fan of fantasy novels and such.
I had also played various RPGs and MMORPGs in my teenage years.
This really does not surprise me. Unlike my mother or rather my mother from my previous life, I was and still am a very open-minded individual after all.
My years of World-view hasn't been completely shattered by a bunch of creepy bright blue windows. Not at all.
From all the information I have gathered till now, I can conclude that this new world I am yet to be born in is a fantasy world with a game like System. But I'm not really sure if all babies or rather fertilised eggs get such notifications upon their conception. I don't think they do...?
Well, that's enough about it. I should examine the other windows for more information.
[You will possess an Ancient Demi-Titan's special racial attributes upon birth.]
Alright, that makes sense. It could be explained with Genetics.
[Your unique genius in Magic has piqued the interest of the World.]
[You have received the Title 'Genius who will never come again'.]
Come again? Since when did I become a genius in Magic?
Well, I don't mind compliments though. I considered myself to be pretty smart in my previous life. I am also no longer a human so maybe this new body I have yet to receive has a genius for magic? That would be a big plus for me.
[The Will of the World 'Emmariel' has blessed you!]
Huh, who?
This is the first time I see an actual name from this world. It sounds rather Earthly. But who is this person?
My mind drifted to strange places, thoughts of how Christian priests baptised newborns came to my mind.
But that's impossible, I am not even a newborn and it's very obvious by how it's worded that this person is certainly not a priest. A baptism and a blessing are also two different concepts.
No matter how you look at it, it's a God. Why else would such a mighty title be placed before their name?
Yes, I used to be non-religious but my world-view has already crumbled apart. I couldn't help but believe in these notification windows as these are the only sources of information and... light I have in my life right now. Literally.
'Will of the World', it says. So, this is the God of this world? Isn't my new mother also supposedly a God? Titans were deities after all. I am compelled to believe that she's also a powerful being. Won't I also be just as powerful since I inherited her power? I felt a flicker of enthusiasm when I thought so. I will need more information if I plan to investigate further than this so let's check the other windows.
[You have been assigned the Class 'Sovereign of Magic'.]
[You have received the Title 'Blessed by the World'.]
[The Will of the World 'Emmariel' is speaking to you!]
[My child.]
Suddenly, a powerful and booming female voice rumbled in my ears- which I obviously didn't possess.
