《Worlds Divided Flara’s Journey》Chapter 3 Flara’s World

Flara guided Tarot down the grassy mountain side into the land. Every time they touched their paws they felt an energy electrify through their bodies. Tarot felt energized, he hasn’t felt this feeling before, but he loved it. The valley was beautiful but he kept taking quick glances at Flara and watched how her hair flowed as she walked. She was the embodiment of beauty , so pure so perfect. He thought of his life in his world ,all the despair , all the fighting , trying to stay alive and trying to find food and water to survive. He was brought up by Dilos, who taught him to be tough and Adia, his dear friend who was always by his side . He missed them , especially Dilos who lost his life a few days ago . His heart broke when he thought of that day. He wished Dilos saw the wonder of this world . As they walked down the valley, he was stuck with smells that he could not describe.
The smell of nature in the land was enough to heal Tarot. Tarot remembered his world , where the air was very thin and he would have to catch his breathe at every movement. The sun rose over the horizon and brought a powerful warmth that surrounded him and made him feel alive. They crossed various grassy meadows and valleys with flowers of every kind imaginable. They had moving parts that worked together. They moved in such a way that allowed them greater strength and added to the lands richness. Some moved in circles like a windmill and others had various moving parts. It was breathtaking sight . Tarot looked up and saw cascading waterfalls that looked like the sky opened up and poured water onto the mountain. Water was in abundance in this land. Tarot cupped his hands and drank from a stream feeling it healing his body. The land was huge and it brought a sense of awe and wonder, but also a sense of power and protection.

There were creatures that roamed the land of every kind. Many common creatures and some that were talked about in myths and legends. There were , minotaurs, gentle giants, fairies, and pixies. All of the animals and creatures were female and could speak the same universal language in this world.
A white, glowing creature was approaching them . Tarot squinted his eyes to see a clearer image of it. He notice every time it took a step the grass and the leaves on the trees glowed, drinking up the energy that it possessed. “ She is the queen of the forest .” Flara whispered . The creature got closer and Tarot saw the majestic beast. Her horn reached high toward the sky and sparkled like diamonds . Her white hair shimmered and her eyes were full of wisdom . The unicorn gazed upon the couple and spoke , “Mystics play here, they have a reason. Enchantment plays its cards and works hand in hand with the seasons. The lands know their place and the spirit of each land has purpose.” Flara bowed before the unicorn, pulling Tarot down with her, but Tarot kept glancing up to get a glimpse of her beauty . “My children, you should know there is time to honor and a time to be honored. You are both special creatures unlike the others. You have a purpose to fulfill . Receive that knowledge and take it close to your spirit.” The unicorn gently walked away and Flara felt a breeze of energy flow through her . She grabbed Tarot’s paw and looked at him . “What did she mean about a purpose?”
They continued to walk through the lush forest until it began to open up. A massive waterfall appeared before them, cascading into a ravine. The explosion it made hitting the rocks below was breathtaking . They walked up to the waterline and Flara sat down, dipping her paw in. Tarot stood in awe watching the water fall, feeling the mist against his face . He looked down at Flara and her gentleness and joined her, placing his paw in the chilled water. “ Are there many worlds that cross over to this one ?” He asked, splashing his paw and feeling the droplets land on his thigh. “ Just a few. They come to our world because it is the largest. Nova, the spirit of our land, only allows goodness to come in . I wish she allowed more.“ Flara replied sadly. “I notice there are only females that cross over.” He noticed with curiosity. “All I know is , that every animal and creature here is female. Is your world all he and him? “. She questioned. Tarot shook his head , “Not all, females are there, but not many , Adia is a female. She and I were brought up together . She and my father, Dilos were the only ones I could trust in my world .” Flara expression was complex. “Why were you sent to me ?”

“After the tragedy that happen, I heard the calling of a female’s voice telling me I needed to meet you on the night of the summer solstice to cross over and that I have a purpose to fulfill .”
“What tragedy ? “ Flara asked . Tarot shook his head and turned away a single tear fell from his eye . “It’s something I don’t want to talk about, at least not right now. It’s too fresh .”
Flara put her arm around his back and she leaned her head on his shoulder as they both watched the waterfall cascade into the lake, both feeling the energy and the connection they had created together. Flara thoughts were tangled in her mind about the day, their conversations and what the unicorn said . ‘What was their purpose?’ Flara felt a tingle against her back and felt a presence behind her , turning she saw a red mist transforming . “Nova”
