After making it back to the old beat up van Terrance and Bart quickly put Mr.Li’s throne back inside his bottomless box and made their way towards the back of the van with Fenris at Terence's heels as soon as Bart opened the door the puppy with strength not matching his size tackled Terrence and started licking and slobbering all over his face Emily and Sunny sitting at the front with Mr.Li in the driver seat giggled at the spectacle Bart unamused says

“Don't let him salivate all over the van you fool.”

Terrance still wrestling with Fenris shouts

“Don't be that way Bart he’s just a puppy doing puppy things!”

Terrance picks up Fenris and moves him closer to Barts direction Bart looked at the puppy its mouth wide open panting in the shape of a smile with many puppy whith saliva dripping from every crevice Bart looks back at Terrance and says

“Adorable? You're literally holding a walking slobbering doomsday dog and all you can say about it is that it's adorable? Completely ignoring the fact that the dog's purpose is to bring calamity?”

Mr.Li with a chuckle begins driving down the road and shouts

“It's just a pup Bart it's harmless I promise!”

Mr.Li still looking down the road asks with a grin

“Emily do you and Sunny have anywhere to stay this place can be quite dangerous and id rather not drop you off anywhere without knowing you have a room somewhere?”

Emily looks out the door window into the night sky covered in thousands of stars, the forest illuminated under the moon and star light exposing several small humanoid creatures. Emily focuses on the creatures they are short and scrawny no larger than a toddler with pale dead shredded skin that in some places hung off their bony exterior their eyes small and pitch black their mouths wide open with jagged fangs yellow and plentiful and long arms and fingers tipped nails that resemble Knives. Emily loses the color in her skin and her eyes go wide as two of the creatures begin to savagely beat and claw at the third their mouths opening wide as if they were shrieking but no sound was made, they continued to maul the other creature until it tired and was bleeding profusely its pale skin covered in crimson red its energy drained as it fell onto the ground unable to defend itself, its two attackers began to consume it alive as it tries to struggle to break free then it's throat is ripped out by the teeth of one of the creatures Emily gasps and looks away with a puzzled look on her face. Mr.Li glances over at her and asks

“You ok their Emily? Your looking a bit pale?.”

Emily looks over at Bart sitting behind her still arguing with Terrance and then back to Mr.Li gives a half smile and says

“Ye- yea we haven't been here for very long so we haven't really gotten that far into the town. This place can be unnerving and overwhelming at times. In the short time we have been here I have seen things that I never thought possible. ”

Mr.Li looks into the rearview mirror on Emily's side and catches a glimpse of the creatures and chuckles

“Well try not to let it get to you and as long as you have someone near you to help all will be okay… Probably. Anyways since you don't have a room anywhere i'm not going to leave you in the dark even in town it's no safer than out here. Why don't you and Sunny stay with us for now instead of paying for a room?”

Sunny with a huge grin on her face puts her arm around Emily and says

“I wouldn't mind at all and I definitely know Emily isn't opposed to the idea would you Emily after all someone already caught your attention I'm sure Haha!”

Emily still flustered just grins slightly and says

“Well Mr.Li seeing as we really have no idea what to do in this town I can't say I dislike the idea honestly it's been hard for the both of us we don't really know what we're doing, we may know magic and enchantments but at the end of the day were still new this....world it's nothing like we thought it would be.”

Sunny’s grin disappears as she relaxes her grip on Emily’s shoulder and says

“We really appreciate your help and kindness really… this town's residents aren't very friendly it's hard to tell what many of them even are, let alone their intentions and most people here are either too friendly or intoxicated.”

Mr.Li shook his head and sighed and wore a face unlike the energetic old man they came to know in these short days but a seasoned veteran of the magical word and a proud father.

“You speak the truth Fairview is a place of power, money, sin, and muder in all honesty it's no different from nature... the weak die and the gullible are deceived the old are left behind and the strong survive it all depends on who you decide to keep close and who you decide to trust and your deep desire to succeed and survive.

Mr.Li with a great smile on his face looks over at Emily and Sunny says

“those two in the back for example they are strong, intelligent and fearless the monsters ive seen those two take down... monsters that would send shivers down the spine of any experienced hunter. They won those battles because even when they were beaten even when they were exhausted, mutilated and in Terrance’s case IMPALED their hunger and will to live and succede brought them to victory. I take great pride in my boys and their abilities they are one of a kind those two and will survive no matter what happens. They have that burning desire in their hearts to live and to win that's what it takes to survive here in fairview and I have no doubt that you two have that fire too you just need to bring it out.“

The girls felt Mr.Li’s pride and sincerity deep within themselves and it caused them both to stop and take in what he said to them they both look back at Bart who was asleep in his seat and Terrance who was laying in the back of the van sleeping cuddled with Fenris, as few moments pass they can see lights in the distance there in front of them came into view a place to small to be called a city but to big to truly be called a town but considering that Town Of Fairview had a nice ring to it most of its inhabitants went with the former Emily’s eyes widen as they enter the town and with a child like gaze she says

“This place is so beautiful at night i've never seen anything like it back home!”

Fairview that town you could not find on any map was a thing of beauty and energy from a distance the lights mimicked a Mardi Gra party at full swing the buildings looked like that of those you would find in new Orleans all colored a shade of bright and dark colors green, red, blue, and orange a town full with life and cheer at least on the surface level yes Fairview was a spitting image of New Orleans but at a grander scale it was a town that never slept their was always something to do something to see a party to crash a mystery to solve and monsters to hunt even from a distance you could see people dancing and enjoying themselves people using party tricks to impress their fellow party goers people flying breathing fire from their mouth summoning creatures of unknown origin out of thin air, floats made of magic passing by both on the streets and in the skies ghost joining in the festivities dancing away seemly without a care in the world witches flying on their brooms laughing into the night orcs and dwarves singing fighting and drinking alongside each other elfs high on the latest magical drug to grace the streets danced kissed and drank alongside humans something which happened rarely but not in Fairview even the local law enforcement were hard to miss werewolfs clad in blue uniforms that were made and tailored for their bodys and standing next to them was an ogre clad in the same uniform but what was most eye catching of all were the buildings seemly cramped with even more party goers restaurants with cuisine from all around the world bars with different themes from every part of the globe yes this was Fairview a city of wonder but one must be careful for much like that of an Anglerfish in the deep sea its light will drag you in close only for its jaws to snap and eat you whole.
