Liz woke up the next day. The castle had a damped mood over it and it made Liz concerned, so she went looking for James, Nicholas, or Richard. After awhile for walking around she found all three of them, Mary, Elizabeth, and Jane. Liz looked at them and said,

" Have you seen how the castle and how everyone around it has been acting."

" Yes," they all said together.

"Did anyone tell them?" James asked. Everyone shook their head no.

"Then someone must of over heard," said Richard.

" Or there is a spy in our mists," said Nicholas.

" And if so then how will we know?" Liz asked.

" We all need to take turns looking for a spy if there is one," said Jane.

" Yes I agree but where will we start looking?" Liz asked.

" The Guards," said Elizabeth and Mary together.

After they finished talking all seven of them went to the Throne Room and summand the guards. All the guards filed in. Nicholas had them all step forward, state their name, and what was there job was. Half way through the line one of the guards by the name of Matthew stepped forward, said his name, and said his job was to see over the wild animals. Liz had been watching him closely. He kept looking around. Liz didn't know what all the jobs were, but taking care of the "wild" animals seemed odd to her. She looked at the others and they seemed to notice it as well.

After they finished going through the line and telling the guards that they had the day off, they turned to each other and said,

" It's Matthew."

" Okay, but why would he tell the people about the war?" Liz asked.

" To make them not want to fight because we are badly out numbered," said James.

" Well this means we will have to keep an eye on him," said Richard.

" Yes and I will take the first watch tonight. We don't want him to know that we are onto him," said Nicholas, " Elizabeth you will be after me, then James, then Jane, then Richard, then Mary, and lastly Liz. So every night you are to go out and watch him. If you see him doing anything suspicious report it to me, James, or Richard. Got it?" Everyone nodded.

" Good ," said Nicholas.
