"...Where am I?"
Alter awoke in a small, futuristic room. With metal walls and photos hung by tape on the opposite wall. Alter sat up and noticed that those were photos of him, with some young kid with short brown hair.
"I don't know where I am, but the waking up in an unfamliar place with my wounds tended is incredibly clique."
Suddenly, the sound of a door opening could be heard. Alter, not sure where he even was, grabbed his weapon and hid on the top bunk.
"Yo! Captain! I've got some breakfast!" The same young boy walked in, holding a bowl of bright colored cereal. "Captain? Where are you?"
The boy began looking through the room, before looking in the top bunk, to be met face-to-face with the barrel of Alter's gun. "Who are you? Where am I?"
Scared, the boy flung backwards of the ladder, spilling the cereal all over the floor. "Captian! Calm down! Its me Anom!"
"And I'm supposed to know you?"
Anom looked shocked. "Have you lost your memories or something? We've been working together for the last 3 years!"
"Well, I don't remember you at all! I don't remember anything!"
"Wait, so you have lost your memories."
"Aparently!"
"Well, thats not good. If the council finds out your unfit for work, we both will be decomishioned."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Anom started pacing. "This is fine, this is fine. I REALLY hope you can still act."
"What are you talking about!?!"
Anom grabbed Alter. "Listen to me. If the council finds out you've lost your memories, we're both dead. They'll be calling any minute, so get ready."
"Hold on! You've told me nothing!"

A beeping noise could be heard comming from the other room. "That's them! Hurry! Let's go!" Anom forced Alter into the main room, which was decorated in numerous posters and futuristic furnature.
Anom forced Alter in front of a large screen and hit a flashing button. "Wait! I sti- Hello sirs!"
The screen displayed a group of people, blacked out so you were unable to see there features. "Good evening, Captian. How did the extermination go today? Did you encounter any trouble?"
Alter began to sweat. "Not at all! Easy job!"
"Captain, are you alright? You're sweating."
"Y-yeah! I'm fine! ACs on the fritz, but we're working on fixing it right as we speak."
"Good to hear captain. The credits for the mission have already been transfered to the account. Keep up the good work." The screen faded to black.
Alter fell to his knees and exhaled. "NOW. EXPLAIN."
Anom helped Alter back up. "Well, let me put it like this. We are officially known as the CleanUpTeam. C.U.T, we would have gone with Clean Up Crew, but that wasn't, well, you get the idea. Our job is to complete the jobs sent to us by the council."
"Exposistion machine much."
"What?"
"Nothing. Wait, I'm a skeleton. Why am I sweating?"
"Oh, thats right. You dont remember. You see you're-"
Without warning, a loud blast shook the ship.
"What the hell?!"

The Last Watcher
The Abyss Watchers. Once fully dedicated to hunting the Abyss, now cursed to fight their own members forever. One day though, while they are attacked by a mysterious warrior, a single Abyss Watcher is suddenly pulled through a tear in reality, transported to a new world. A world with a strange thing called a leveling system. Current update schedule: Tuesday 10:00 PM NZT Idea I had of an Abyss Watcher from Dark Souls 3 being transported into a LitRPG world. You don't have to know any of the lore from Dark Souls to understand this, however if you want to know more about the lore just google it or something, I can't stop you But it's not like it will be very useful in this story as I plan to not be focused on Dark Souls Lore. As a side note for those reading this while it is ongoing, I will occasionally go back to previous chapters and sometimes add certain elements to the skills and leveling. Not to worry though as I will tell you as to what I have edited in the authors notes, so be sure to pay attention to those when they appear as they may contain information required for continued understanding. Also, if you decide to drop this book then please leave a comment on the chapter you stopped on and tell me what made you stop.

Chosen of Silver
In the lands of Neden, children with gates--birthmarks able to accept and hold the power of soulstones--are collected every five years, when they reach age fifteen to nineteen. It is nearly time for the newest cohort to be celebrated and then conscripted, and with that day looming, those whose lives are about to change wait impatiently for their destiny to arrive...or try to find a way to avoid it: Cal, a refugee from the nation of Caas, doesn’t want to go to Kellingherth to gain the powers of man, beast, or element, and he certainly doesn’t want to join the war efforts after that. The only things he’s dying for are a good drink, dance, and girl, in no particular order. His best friend Raff prefers his sweat to come from a hard day's training than an evening carousing and wishes Cal did, too. He wants to accomplish more with his life than becoming a simple palace sentry like his estranged father and will do whatever it takes to get there. And they are just two of many. When the tenuous peace of the realm is threatened by the arrival of an old enemy, these young chosen will likely be swept up in events rather than prevent them, but the future cannot be rushed or escaped, only experienced.
