When they get to Heijun Academy, Philuffy was very nervous since a Level 0 wasn’t capable for it. She was passed for some reason. Philuffy asked Shin if he did something to let her in to this prestigious school, his reply was he thought she worked hard to pass.

They were in a different level, so Shin and I got separated. This school has four separate rank which is Delta, Gamma, Beta and Alpha.

Alpha is the rank who were at level 61-99

Beta is the rank of level 41-60

Gamma rank is for level 21-40

And finally, my rank Delta rank for level 0-20

To Philuffy, it was a shame that she was unable to see Shin but she can manage to see him whenever he needs her. Philuffy's Scan can help him to know the situation since he is living as a level 1. Shin’s rank was actually none of it. Because his stats always change but he didn’t tell her what was the source of it. He just became upset and looked away from her whenever she asked about it. He just chose to be Gamma so he would not be causing so much trouble against the higher ranks.

Shin upgraded Philuffy's Aramasa that can match Gamma ranks. He said, he will upgrade it even further if she can beat a Gamma rank, except Shin though. He has the strength of the Alpha rank, He wasn’t holding back cause the only thing he said to her was his power kept him holding back so he has to fight for real.

Philuffy was sitting on her desk, staring at the window. With a bored expression on her face.

“Philuffy!”

Someone called her name, a girl’s voice. Her name was Anna Springfield, her first friend. She has a gentle smile while she was wearing her big round glasses, she was wearing the blue and white dress with long sleeves and her blonde, curly, medium length hair..

“Let’s eat with me.”

“Sure! Phi will come.”

A familiar voice of a male was heard.

“Phi.”

It was Shin who just entered her classroom with his usual serious face.

“Shin…”

“I will be going home late, so I want you go straight home without taking any detour, understood?”

Philuffy just nodded.

“Can Shin ask Phi why?”

“…There was a Nightmare lurking around the city, hunting down students who were still out alone at night. I have to take it down as soon as possible, same goes to you, Philuffy’s friend.”

Anna was just staring at him as she became somewhat upset.

Few minutes later, they started eating outside the campus at the bench, near by the tree. Anna seems lost her appetite after Shin told her what to do.

“Is Anna okay?

Anna seems out of it.

“Anna?”

Anna returns to her senses and was panicking.

“I am listening! I was paying attention, don’t worry ehehehe.”

Philuffy became worried as Anna just open up to her and looked down.

“I have a part time job and it requires me to work at night as a waitress. If I get absent, I might get fired from it just because of some monster attacking students at night.”

Philuffy know the feeling of needing money for living. She just can’t stop thinking if her first friend was having trouble for money. Then Philuffy suddenly got a bright idea.

“Phi had an idea; Phi will accompany Anna with Anna’s work.”

“Really? But wouldn’t it defy your Master’s order?”

“Phi was aware of it but Phi just can’t help leaving Anna in trouble.”

Anna suddenly jumped at Philuffy and wraps her arms around her happily.

“Oh, thank you Philuffy! You’re the best.”

She was smiling to see Anna was happy with their plan. Philuffy plans to get Aramasa ready, she knew the Nightmares are very sneaky when it comes to preying their victims.

"I’m sorry, Shin but my friend needs my help. I am ready to take responsibility after this."

Philuffy thinks about Shin as she said those words in her mind.

Shin Kizuna, A level 1 Status Breaker. He was living now with Philuffy as he gain interest in her abilities, which were very interesting and worth to investigate. He never seen a level 0 who never levels up at all. There has to be some kind of Gear ability that cause her from unable to level up

The Gear she has was called Scan. She can see the capability and status of the host without the need of permission, unlike the other method where they need permission to show their status and it will suddenly change to make it the enemy’s disadvantage. With Philuffy, she can just look at that person when there was an abnormal status within that person. Shin won’t rely on her ability unless there was unexpected happens. Normally, He can take care any situation just fine but as time goes by, he will need the help he can get.

Shin manage to order Philuffy to go straight home. She is one obedient girl as Shin trust her a lot.

He went to the headmaster’s room, standing infront of that large door. He feel tense. The headmaster was said to be intimidating yet one of the known strongest breakers. He’s one of the heroes from the War of Yomotsuhirasaka along with the infamous Azure the Trailblazer. Shin entered the room as he bowed before him..

“I have come for my report, headmaster.”

His name was Sasword Superior. The head master of Heijun Academy and Shin's master who teach him the art of fighting. He is a stern individual; he has an eye-length styled red hair. His outfit were the only thing that disturbs him, he is wearing a butler suit and his assistant was wearing a business clothes. A reverse role.

“Ah, Shin… I was expecting you. I rather find an intriguing student in this campus aside you.”

“I see… May I ask who it is?”

He was laughing as he put his arms at the table.

“I believe, you already knew that person…”

He was refering to Philuffy. Shin realized, this is what Philuffy meant that she was passed unexpectedly. The headmaster can be a very sly person, He can’t really say if he can be trusted yet his deduction was always correct.

“I made her pass because there was an exam that made me get interested in her. Her unusual stats, almost the same as you but what intrigues me is the unknown variable of her intelligence stats so as her Battle Instinct whenever she was fighting which reminds me of... her.”

Not just Philuffy's appearance and her stats as well. Shin left speechless, making her think that she was the reincarnation of the girl named Cyan. In Heijun Academy, there was Physical exam, Mental exam and Gear exam… The Physical and mental exam are just like the other ordinary school. But the different was the Gear exam, it scans and test any Gear abilities the person has. The only exam that records every Gear ability even if it is untap by the user by fighting a dummy.

“But… let’s keep it at that for now. To be honest, I am still unsure about her ability but she definitely has the untap power, coming from one of my war buddies. Ever heard the Gear ability called Disruptor?”

Gear Skill: Disruptor. It can destroy the user’s Gear making them unable to use it anymore or deleveling the person to 1. It can manipulate the life of the person, making it immortal in exchange for the host’s half of his life force and also can kill an immortal being as well. There are rumors that it has capability to destroy space and time itself. Hence the name, Disruptor.

Basically, it can stop anything. The only power that can destroy god himself.

It was said that the hero of the War of Yomotsuhirasaka was wielding such power along with a mysterious Breaker called Innovator. The two of them, the Innovator and the Disruptor are the pair that stopped the war from the Nightmare army along with Master Sasword and his war buddies. If Philuffy has that ability then, she is no longer safe to live normally than she wanted to.

“…I do. It was a very popular Gear ability after all. The one of the rarest Gear abilities to encounter.”

“Shin Kizuna, I want you to watch over this girl.”

“That goes without saying.”

“I even heard she was your personal maid.”

“…She is not my maid, just an assistant. She just wanted to live a good life and at the same time repay me for saving her life. It’s just the least I could do.”

Sasword faced the window.

“My guess is… Your report was about the student abduction, yes? Who was it?”

“It is as you said… I finally found a perfect bait for this job but it can be a little bit risky since the name of this school can be tarnished from what I found... the Nightmare Breaker was...”

“...I see... That person's life is in your hands... Shin Kizuna. I will take care covering all the victims made by that person to keep this school clean and safe but... I order you... to end this tragedy tonight."

“As you wish, Master. I do have to finish this so Philuffy won't live in fear everyday."

“Then, you are dismissed.”

Shin closed his eyes and walked out of the Headmaster’s room. Thus beginning his mission.

Master Sasword seem to know Philuffy to giving him an order to watch over her. Is he… somehow knew her disease? But for now…

Shin hope Philuffy got home safely… He may be cold towards her but…
