《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》V3 44: Ms Paden's Struggle #4

"Caprice...?" Annabelle squeezed out, rushing over to hold Caprice in her hands while her clean skin became dirty, she looked at the cloudy eyes Caprice had as her eyes locked on with Annabelle's tearful look. A smile curved in the skin of Caprice as she opens her smiling mouth to reveal broken teeth, Annabelle desperately tried to force Caprice on her back but Caprice kept dismissing Annabelle's help as she continues to allow herself to die painfully.
Annabelle ripped off her shirt to wrap it around the wounds Caprice had to stop the blood from leaking out but it didn't help at all as there seemed to be millions of wounds spread throughout Caprice's body like a pattern of rotten flowers collapsing to their prayed doom.
"Officers! Officers! Officers!" Annabelle cried out repeatedly to no avail, but she carried on calling, getting the wrong type of attention as three females overshadowed her pitiful situation.
"What's wrong with you people?!" Annabelle screamed with anger, turning her attention over to the three slumped inmates covered in Caprice's blood. The dark brown haired lady in the middle walked over to Annabelle placing her drenched knife under Annabelle's neck to leave a print.
"Acting all innocent are you?" The dark brown haired lady cackled with a nasty tone, rubbing the sharp end of the knife across Annabelle's neck. Her eyes were insanity with no humanity left inside them as a dangerous monster swallowed it all away to take control of this insane human Annabelle hated with a passion.
Annabelle went to throw a punch but she felt a kick to her face that launched her to the corner of the bunker, as she comes in contact with the bunker she feels herself drain in light and pass out from the sudden unplanned attack. When her eyes slowly opened and adjusted to the sight, the first thing she saw was the middle lady kneeling in the back of a moved Caprice and started cutting through the throat for the motive of decapiation.

Blood shaded the bed and the walls the deeper the female slashed through Caprice's neck, Annabelle felt her stomach turn as her face turns pale as she struggled to move out of her will, the reason she couldn't move was that a blonde female who stood to the left of the middle lady from the introduction held Annabelle's head to the side to force her to watch her friend get beheaded.
The sounds of the bones cracking at every cut the insane lady threw continued to disgust Annabelle even more till eventually she puked all over Caprice and the female doing the cutting, the female retaliated by dusting off the puke with a loud, long growl before kicking Annabelle to the face.
"You fucking bitch!" The middle lady yelped as she jumped on top of Annabelle, bending the last remaining alive bones Annabelle had in her body as she felt her head be grabbed hold of and began to be slammed onto the floor multiple times.
"Why...do I have this...?" Annabelle's echoes thought to herself in a calm but yet sad manner.
"All I do is lose to people..."
"I have smiled with kindness many times but all I get is hate in return..."
"Do you want to win?"
"I always wanted to win..."
"Do you think everyone who shunned you should be punished?"
"What kind of question is that...of course-"
"Do you think you have the will to lose that normality inside to become something even better?"
"If it's to win over bastards...then yes..."
"Are you willing to murder for that sake of power?"
"Yes..."
As she answers with a yes, Annabelle feels something be lifted off inside her like the pressure of depression was wiped away instantly as she feels the painful grip around her head become a nuisance, she felt free, something she always wanted. The vision in her view shifted to a deep red as thoughts of the ones she love be tortured along with the thoughts of her losing attached itself like a leech never letting go, she looked around in this world with a calm composure seeing the ones on top of her frozen in time.

Annabelle looked to the side to see the loosehead of Caprice look back at her and what Annabelle would feel before vanished, that turning feeling in her stomach didn't appear and her disgusted reaction from the past had a relaxed state. Annabelle threw the insane lady off her back and wandered outside to see everyone frozen in time.
"What is this?" Annabelle calmly added.
"This is the power of Time Manipulation, the strongest of the rarest. A power that you win the world over and do anything with just a thought..." The robotic voice inside Annabelle's head responded.
"And who are you?" Annabelle questioned again.
"I am Iniobong, your trustworthy source material," Iniobong explained in a monotone voice with no gender being heard.
Learning the powers in her own time, Annabelle walked back into her disgusting cell and began cracking the bones of all of the inmates that murdered Caprice, then she walked over to Caprice's ex-friends, murdering them for betraying the one trust of a friendship and headed out of the frozen door opening in a mid way. Annabelle walked down the hallways, reading all of the faces as she walked outside the police department after deleting her prison history, she looked at the blindfolded city roar like a lion as it grew in population.
"One person left," Annabelle smiled to herself.

Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
