《The Royal Mates》Chapter Fifty-Four

I chuckled lightly before I cleared my throat.
"Amorelli, my father and I couldn't get anything out of the warlock in the dungeon. So, we went to ask your mother if she could get a siren for him. So we could make a deal with the siren to get information out of him, and in return, he was hers for the taking." Amorelli sighed and nodded slightly.
"Alright. Just, be careful. Okay?" I nodded and kissed her head. She sighed and put Mariana on the ground. After another hour or so, dinner was ready and I had already set out the picnic blankets, as well as some candles. I had asked Amorelli to meet me outside at seven. I was starting to get worried because it was currently seven-fifteen. I kept looking at the time every few seconds before I smelled her. I quickly looked to the door and saw she was still in that blue dress. My breath caught in my throat as she sat down next to me. I sat up and grabbed her face gently. I kissed her slowly and I felt both of our hearts soar through the bond. I heard her sigh into the kiss and let out a low growl from my chest. She giggled and moved away from the kiss. We smiled at one another, and just a moment later, our food was brought out with a bottle of wine. Amorelli looked up to Jamie quickly.
"Does the wine have alcohol in it?" Jamie quickly looked at the bottle.
"Yes, but I can grab a wine that doesn't have alcohol in it. Or, would you prefer another beverage?" Jamie knew not to call her 'your majesty' as others do. She really enjoyed Jamie's company.
"Could I have some mango nectar?" I looked at her weird, and Jamie just laughed.
"Getting cravings already, huh?" He bowed toward us slightly and left to get her juice.
"Mango nectar? I've never even seen you eat a mango before love." I chuckled and I poured myself a glass of wine. She blushed and punched my arm.
"Shut up. I'm craving mango nectar, now leave me alone." We laughed with one another as Jamie came out with the bottle of juice.
"Here you go, Amorelli. Enjoy your dinner you two." Jamie bowed again as we started eating the spaghetti and meatballs. Amorelli sighed as she ate every single bite of her food. I chuckled and laid down with her.
'Please, I want to mark my mate now,' Alistair was impatiently waiting. Ever since he found out he could mark Amorelli himself, he has been very eager. I sighed and looked at Amorelli. She giggled and could tell what was going on.
"Alright, alright, Alistair. You may mark me now." That was all it took for me to get shoved to the very back corner.
~Alistair~
I growled lowly as I held Amorelli close to me. She laughed a bit and rubbed her stomach. She let out a little sigh, as she was stuffed. I leaned down and kissed her stomach three times. I felt her heart soar from the action. I smiled up at her and kissed her softly. I held her face in my hand and kissed her deeply. She ran her fingers through my hair and I let out a light groan. I felt her smile against the kiss. I smiled as well.

Neither of us was in a sexual mood. We weren't being driven by lust. We were loving one another and it was wonderful. I pulled her closer to me and sat her in my lap. I kissed her a few more times before I made my way to her neck. I heard her heart beating like crazy, her breathing becoming shallow as she let out small pants. I kissed her gently and found a spot around Mordikai's and Comrade's marks. I licked the area softly and let my canines come out.
"Let me know if I hurt you," I felt her nod and I kissed the spot once before I bit her. She gasped and held my head toward her neck. I smelled her get sightly aroused and I growled lightly. I held onto her neck for another moment before I let go and licked the wound. I looked into her eyes and felt like we were complete. There wasn't any missing pieces, we were whole.
We were one.

I saw us approaching the village and I gently woke Alana up. She groaned slightly and opened her eyes. It was pretty dark out, and I'm sure she was confused as to where we were.
"Are we there yet?" She groaned as she stretched. I growled lowly, not wanting anyone to see what was mine. She stopped stretching and looked at me with worry. I cleared my throat and looked out the window.
"Yes, we are right down the road. Be ready," With that, I cut off the conversation. I want her to know I care, but I also need her to know I am a no-bullshit type of man. She nodded slightly and made sure she looked presentable. I sighed as I hoped my pack will like her.
"Look, the pack might be intimidating. They're going to smell that you are a freshly made rogue. They have all been rogues for years. Don't let them intimidate you. Also, women used to throw themselves at me because I am an Alpha. I don't think that will change just because I've found my mate. Just don't kill anyone without my permission, and we'll be fine. Alright?" I told her calmly but firmly. She nodded and I could sense the fear on her. I sighed once again.
"If they smell your fear, they will make your life hell. Got it?" She nodded again and tried to calm herself down. I placed my hand on hers and felt her fear fade away. I smirked to myself, knowing only I was able to calm her. We pulled up outside of the village and I felt her tense up a little. I squeezed her hand once and looked at her.
"Home sweet home," I got out of my side and saw her reach for the handle. I growled in anger and she stopped. I cleared my throat after I realized I scared her.
"I open up your door. Not you." She nodded and removed her hand from the handle. I closed my door and went to open hers. I helped her out of the car and pulled her close as I saw unmated males sniffing the air. I growled at all of them and they stopped what they were doing. I had the driver pop the trunk and called over a few pack members.

"Help bring your Luna's items into my home." The pack hooted and hollered. Alana blushed furiously, and I think she wasn't accustomed to this kind of attention. I squeezed her hand once before letting go and placing my hand on the small of her back, guiding her into my home. Once I opened the door for her, she stopped right inside the doorway and looked around. I felt her heartbeat become quicker, but I don't know why.
"Something wrong?" I asked her and she shook her head slightly.
"No, it's just beautiful," She said quietly and I nodded my head slightly. I don't know what she thought about the place that was beautiful, but as long as she liked it, then that was all that mattered to me. I walked in front of her and led her to our bedroom.
"This is our room. There is a bathroom in there. There are guest bedrooms throughout the halls. Once we finish putting your items away I can show you the-" Her stomach cut me off as it growled.
"Kitchen," She blushed a bit and looked down. I forgot that I had literally saved her from the dungeons and that she probably hasn't eaten in a while.
"Never mind, I'll have my pack members carry your items upstairs and we can eat now." She nodded and grabbed my hand softly. I looked at her in confusion.
"I just don't want to get lost in here, is all." I nodded and led her to the kitchen. She sat down at the table and I started pulling things out of the cabinets. She then made her way to the island and sat down on a stool. I put some seasonings in a bowl after I took out two steaks. I rubbed the seasoning into the steaks and took them outside to the grill. I let them cook while I chopped up vegetables for a salad. I don't know what she likes, but I'm hoping she likes what I'm making. I felt her eyes on me the whole time, and I chuckled under my breath. I looked at her and she blushed furiously.
"Just out of curiosity, you aren't allergic to anything are you?" She thought for a moment before she shook her head no. I nodded once and gave her a small smile. I heard her heart quicken once again and I chuckled. I quickly finished the salad and went to turn the steaks outside. I came back in and grabbed two wine glasses. I put one near me and one in front of her. She gave me a small smile of thanks and I nodded once. I grabbed a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine and held them out to her.
"Which one?" She thought for a moment before she spoke.
"White, please." I looked a bit shocked before I put the red away.
"What was that face for?" Ahe laughed a little and I felt my heart soar at the sound.
"Nothing, usually women are more of a red kind of person. I don't know many that drink white." She nodded and smiled softly as I poured her a glass. I set the bottle down and grabbed plates to put the steaks on. I put them on the plates and gave one to her. She smiled once again as I also put some salad in a bowl. I opened the fridge and called out to her.
"Do you like any kind of dressing on your salads?" I heard her hum in response.
"I like a thousand islands dressing," I nodded and put it on the table. I grabbed out french dressing and put that next to me. We ate our food in comfortable silence. When we finished, I placed our dishes in the sink and led her upstairs. We saw all of her items scattered around the room and she sighed. She out her hair into a ponytail.
"Well, I guess we should get started putting my stuff away." I saw her exposed neck and I growled lowly. I pulled her close to me for a moment as I took in her scent. She gasped slightly and wrapped her arms around me. I heard her deep breaths and knew she was doing the same.
"You smell like fresh fruit, like raspberries and strawberries," I mumbled as I took in another deep breath of her scent.
"You smell like the woods. The trees, the dirt, a river as well." She mumbled and I pulled her closer to me.
"You're mine," I resisted the temptation of marking her right then and there. I wanted her to fall for me first before we marked one another. I groaned and pulled away from her. I helped her put her items away and we both got ready for bed an hour later. I turned out the light and got into bed. She got in after me and didn't really know what to do.
"Goodnight Maverick," She whispered and turned around so her back was facing me. I pulled her forward and growled softly. I put my head in my neck and took in a deep breath.
"Goodnight Alana," With that, I fell into the best sleep I've ever had.
