《The Royal Mates》Chapter Fifty-Nine

~Samael~
I wandered around with the Spaniards after I had told my troops to prepare for battle. I allowed them to train themselves as I wandered above them. I saw how they were training and I became intrigued. I never really cared for these people, and finally seeing them up close has reminded me as to why I don't like them. They're sloppy and they're undisciplined. No wonder it took them five times to conjure me. I felt them calling out but it was never strong enough to actually get me to come to the surface. Even then, I got tired of them asking for me so I came up to see what they wanted. I saw Mateo come up to me and he bowed before me.
"Samael, what do you think of our fighting skills? I know we aren't the best, but we are hoping we could discuss our plan with you. Would you mind if we were to do that right now?" Mateo was trying to be polite by not forcing me to talk now, but honestly, I had nothing to do and I've been extremely bored since my arrival.
"Of course," Mateo bowed again and I followed him and his wife to a meeting room where there was a small table. We all took a seat at the table and I sighed as I leaned back.
"Now, tell me what you need me for." Mateo cleared his throat and began speaking.
"Well, I'm assuming you already know what's going on. Everyone's daughters were taken, including mine. There is a barrier around the compound that restricts our powers and doesn't let anyone do anything. The werewolves can't shift, we can't use magic, no one can use their powers if they have any. We need someone Godlike to enter the compound and turn off the barrier so the people who specialize in their powers can go in and help out, as well as everyone already in there they can start using theirs as well. We figured that if you could go in with the people in the front lines, you wouldn't be affected because you were created by God, and you weren't born with the powers. We made a replica barrier around us, actually, and we were wondering if you could try and do what you do best." I sighed and looked around to see what I could do. I didn't feel any different, so maybe Mateo was right. I looked at one of the guards in the room and chuckled. After a moment of studying him and roaming through his mind, I let out a sigh. I pointed at him and started to speak.
"You have been stalking the Queen. You're obsessed with her. You wish you were her mate rather than Mateo," He started to speak and I cut him off.

"Oh, come on," I quickly grabbed him and brought him over to the table before speaking again. "Look at her, you can't deny that beauty. Come on, admit it, she is your biggest desire, and you'd do anything to get to her, isn't that right?" I looked the man in the eyes and they proceeded to become wide before he sighed and let his head fall. I chuckled and pushed him away from the table. I snapped my fingers and he started screaming in pain as he started to burn. I wiggled my fingers at him in a goodbye.
"I'll see you down there when I'm done up here," I chuckled and he screamed as his body fell and he turned to ashes. I sighed as I turned back to Mateo and his wife and they were shocked. Mateo put his arm around his wife and looked around at his other guards. They all looked shocked. I looked at one and he had his head down.
"Hey, you," He looked up and I felt his fear from here. I chuckled and shook my head.
"Don't worry Mateo, no one else in here is out to get you. However, I can't help the one that wants you in bed. Other than that, no harm in this room. I will, however, be looking into everyone else that is close to you, as well as the rest of the guards and warriors." I snickered as I left the building we had entered. I stretched and I walked around, looking for more people who were trying to hurt Mateo. Mateo and his wife had come out and quickly followed me. I looked out into the vast crowd of witches and wizards. I searched their minds and sighed. I snapped my fingers and about ten people had turned to fire. Everyone stopped to look at me in fear and I cleared my throat.
"Anyone who is trying to do any harm to the King and Queen, will be killed. I am here now, and your little rebellion is over. Don't like it? Leave. No one will miss you." A couple of people looked at one another and people started to get down onto one knee. I smirked and showed the King and Queen their people.
"These are the trustworthy ones. Show me the rest, and I'll take care of them." Mateo nodded and was about to thank me but I held my hand out, silently telling them not to.
"I will come back. I need to check up on my troops, as well as the people who I just sent down." I let out a dark chuckle as I turned into a reddish-black smoke and went down to take care of the imbeciles I had just killed.

This was going to be fun.
~Samara~
I was getting so much worse. I couldn't do anything. I needed help going to the bathroom for fuck's sake. I was constantly overheating, and my migraines were now constant. I needed to be put under anesthetic if I were to fall asleep. Because without it, I would be up constantly. I was becoming scared. What if Amorelli and Zinniah don't get here in time? What if they can't help me? I feel like I'm dying, and I just want to see my family before I die. The guard that was talking to me told me that the Boss didn't know what to do. He figured that at this point everyone knew where their children were and that a battle was going to start soon. Apparently, he didn't want to risk taking me out and me dying anyway.
I am getting pretty scared that I am going to die. I don't want to. I'm so close to being saved and being reunited with my family. Maybe I would meet my mate? I would sure hope so. After this and a long time healing, I want a mate that will love me for me and not my body.
The only good thing out of this was that I know my wolf has a name, and I also met my inner wolf. This was making me very happy, to know that I wasn't completely alone. My wolf's name is Zoya, and my inner wolf's name is Xenia. I met my inner wolf in my dream. She didn't look like my regular wolf. It's hard to explain, but she kind of looked like me, but with completely black eyes. She gave off such a dark aura and I didn't know how I felt about it. I did talk with her though, and she explained that it was because of everything that's been going on for the past sixteen years. The rape, the abuse, finding out I was kidnapped at the age of two and that they were being restricted.
Xenia had had enough one night, and she tried to enter my body herself. I had immediately started screaming, but what I didn't know was that I was screaming and thrashing in my sleep. When the female guard had come to check in on me, she said my eyes had turned black for a few split seconds before they returned back to normal and I had passed out. After I had woken up again, that's when it all happened. That's when I got worse. My inner wolf had almost taken over, even though it's impossible for her to do so. My inner wolf is that strong, and I think they are afraid to take me outside the barrier because of it. They are afraid that if they take me outside the barrier, my inner wolf will immediately take over and kill everyone on sight that has abused me. We already decided that if that were to happen, the female guard that has been helping me will be spared.
I sighed as I turned over in my bed.
Please hurry you guys, I don't know how much more time I have.
~Unknown~
I'm scared. I can feel something in my gut. Something bad is going to happen. I've heard the guards talking about some battle that's supposed to take place. I've also heard them calling him the Boss. He can lie to them all he wants, but I know exactly who he is, even if he doesn't look like him.
The man they call the boss is my daddy, and for some reason, neither of us has aged since I was taken by daddy. I don't even know why daddy took me away. He said it wasn't safe anymore, and that we had to run. But that was years ago, and I don't know what wasn't safe. I don't know who it was that was threatening to hurt us.
I also get fed weird things. It tastes different, but it's always so good. I don't know what it is, but daddy says it keeps me healthy. I've also seen daddy eat what I eat, but in different forms of it. It's too dark for me to see what it is, but no one else eats it but us. I sigh as I look out my barred window. Daddy keeps me in what I'm guessing is a cell. I don't know why though. He says it's to keep me safe, but I don't know what from. He says it's very safe where we are, yet I'm constantly locked up.
I miss my family. We haven't been together for a long time, and I wouldn't doubt it if they're all dead. I heard that my mother was killed, as well as one of my brothers, but we didn't stick around long enough to see where my other brother was. I'm pretty sure he is dead too. I think we were running away from the people that had killed them. That was a couple of years ago, though, and I was told no one survived the incident that happened.
I just hope that Daddy doesn't get hurt during this battle that's apparently going to happen. Even though my daddy scares me sometimes, and doesn't visit me unless he's giving me food, I still love him. I still love my daddy, and I always will.

Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
