Planet Evil
Prologue - You Lose
BOOM!
At the centre of the Valiant Galaxy, near the edge of the universe, lies a planet called Alpha Scion. On this planet, lives humanoid creatures known as Psylons.
It’s utopia. A perfect society protected by powerful vibrant heroes.
Naturally, villains exist too.
And on some days, similar to today, these villains attack places randomly, just to cause problems for the ordinary people. Some do it for some odd grand reasons, some do it for earning money, but then there are some who commit evil acts for fun.
In the city of 「Wildling」, a shopping mall was blown up to pieces by a large explosion.
“Go in, 「Red Freak」,” spoke a slender woman with silky black hair and big black eyes, who was sitting on top of a 20-meter tall statue, in the middle of an intersection. “Do what you were told.”
From this angle, she could get a good look at the surrounding areas.
Currently, she is facing the burning shopping mall.
“Will do, sis,” a voice came out but nobody could be seen.
After the voice, there was a red streak and a gust of cold wind.
“Brr,” the slender woman, 「Soul Slayer」, shivered. “I don’t want to wear a jacket even though it's winter, it’s too much of a hassle.”
With the corner of her eyes, she followed the red streak that went around and toppled nearby buildings.
“The heroes will be here any second,” she muttered to herself under her breath. “Where are you, 「Black Wing」?”
She glanced around once more with a worried look on her face.
"You never had plans and hated the idea of planning… so why now?"
These villains are capable of great destruction, but without their leader, they will struggle greatly.
If ‘he’ shows up, we will be done for, she thought. So, come quickly--
Her thoughts were cut off once she saw green smoke appear in front of her, on the road.
The moving cars screeched as they tried to avoid it.
Soul Slayer, however, grinned.
From the fading smoke, few figures started to become visible.
A witch in a green skintight costume, blonde hair and green glowing eyes were the first to appear clearly to Soul Slayer.
A muscular man was standing next to the witch. Soul Slayer grimaced and looked at the figure behind them.
It was a 5 meter tall and wide man.
The moment she set on eyes on the figure, a beautiful smile blossomed on her face.
Ignoring everyone else, she jumped from the statue and towards the giant figure.
“Hey, sweetie,” she spoke happily. "Took you long enough."
The witch - 「Green Storm」- groaned in annoyance.
Soul Slayer jumped down and wrapped her arms around the giant figure's large neck.

The muscular man next to Green Storm, too, groaned at that sight.
"They are annoying," Green Storm walked away from the giant figure and towards the statue.
"I agree, fair lady," spoke a tall and muscular man with tanned brown skin as he followed the witch. "I will never understand the connection they have."
She stopped moving and glanced back at the muscular man.
Her expression said all she wanted to say.
"But my vast love for battle is not annoying."
"Sure, if you say so, 「Sad Barbarian」," the witch rolled her eyes as she faced forward once more and marched towards the statue.
The muscular man - Sad Barbarian as she called him - tightened his grip on the sword.
"Should I slash this horrid statue in half?"
"Not now, ape," she sounded very, very annoyed. "But soon."
"I assure you, fair lady, I am no ape. I am quite intelligent."
She frowned as she turned around, folded her arms in front of her chest and stared the big man in the eyes.
"Really now?"
"Absolutely."
"Then what's elven times elven?"
The proud smile vanished from the Barbarian's face, quicker than sound could travel.
Instead of thinking about the answer or answering her question, he merely stared at her.
The witch did not say more, but turned around and looked up to the top of the statue.
However.
"Gah!" she squinted her eyes.
The witch quickly raised her hand to cover her face from the coming light.
"Even an ape wouldn't dare to stare at the sun directly," he sneered.
"Ugh, you are awfully happy today. Are you drunk?"
"I only had 50 litres of ale, so I don't think I am drunk."
"O-oh…" she was taken back by that.
You are definitely drunk! the witch thought.
For some reasons, she was ticked off.
Your name - Sad Barbarian - is unfitting now. When you get drunk, you are no longer sad. What a disappointment.
Oh, so that was the reason.
"I want to battle 「Fallen Angel」 again. He is, after all, the only worthy opponent for me."
"Because the others are just too powerful for you," she rolled her eyes.
The Barbarian did not have a great sense of pride, so her words didn't damage his ego at all.
But that too seemed to have angered Green Storm.
She hated it when she couldn’t hurt someone with her words.
“That statue is… ugly,” the Sad Barbarian tightened his grip on the sword even more in his right hand.
Crouching down, he took a deep breath.
“And I hate ugly things.”
He exhaled slowly and then he shot up towards the statue.

Swinging the long sword in his hand, he slashed the statue in half.
The statue started to crumble.
The moment Barbarian’s foot touched the ground, he shot up once more, kicking the upper half of the statue so it didn't fall on Green Storm.
“Thanks, but I don’t need your help.”
“I don't want you to die for one reason… One simple reason.”
The aloof look of the Barbarian was replaced by a very angry one which sent shivers down her spine.
“I don’t want to face Black Wing’s fury. If not for that, I would have sent you to the deepest pits of hell, witch.”
“Is… Is that so?”
She put on a brave face.
“I hold enough power to wreck cities, do you think you can-- !!”
The Barbarian had drawn his sword and the tip of it was resting on her slender neck.
“Don’t tempt me, witch.”
“It seems we are not needed to defeat you since you lowlifes tend to do that yourself,” spoke a majestic voice above them. “You can’t get along too well, so no wonder you always fail. Isn’t this getting tiring?”
All four of them looked up in reflex.
They saw a group of superheroes, whose back was to the sun.
Only their silhouette can be seen, but they could tell who was who.
In the front of these superheroes, stood a tall and muscular man with a smile as bright and beautiful as the very sun that shone on this planet.
Behind him, a few others were floating either behind him or standing on top of a crescent moon-shaped plane.
“「Cosmic Titan」,” spat out the witch.
Where are you, Black Wing? she thought angrily.
“Ohoy, hello there, Fallen Angel,” unlike the others, the Sad Barbarian smiled widely as he waved his hand at a figure floating behind Cosmic Titan, with two wings shot out of his back. “After we battle, let’s drink, shall we?”
Cosmic Titan glanced back at his teammate and smirked.
He knew that Cosmic Titan and the Sad Barbarian are friends, but he cannot force them to break their friendship.
“You are not going to answer him?”
Fallen Angel, a man with a tall and slender build, smiled bitterly at his team leader.
Cosmic Titan chuckled and faced forward.
“Where is your team leader?”
Black Wing, the leader of the villains, where is he?
This isn't like him. Everyone thought at once.
“I can’t sense him closeby.”
Cosmic Titan clenched his fist.
Swinging it, the cape behind him fluttered.
We are done for...
This was it.
This is how it always went.
The villains lose the moment the heroes clench their fists together.
The first was done.
Cosmic Titan, the most powerful and the greatest of the heroes, swung his fist full of light blue energy forward.
He won’t even hit them.
The shockwave will be enough.
BOOM!
Suddenly he stopped as he heard a sound.
“A sonic boom...”
He glanced around but could not see anything.
Someone or something was coming.
A new villain, perhaps? Cosmic Titan thought in a worried manner. But who is it-- !!
As he was looking around, he noticed buildings being slashed in half to his right.
“Wha--”
Before he could even let out a word, a figure closed the distance between them and…
And.
And.
And…
What happened?
Everyone wondered the same thing.
What just happened?
“!!”
The floating man fell to the ground. Someone had hit him from the back.
He glanced around and saw nothing but destruction and death.
This is... he gritted his teeth. I should have been careful.
Cosmic Titan forced himself to stand up.
“Moon Halo, what… Fallen Angel?!”
When he looked around, he found dead heroes.
The most powerful beings on the planet, they saved the world hundreds of times, but suddenly, they were all dead.
“Hehe… hehe...” a slow laugh rang out behind him.
Cosmic Titan swallowed his saliva and turned around.
When his eyes met a figure, his heart skipped a beat.
“Black Wing?”
In front of him stood a man covered in a black robe and hood.
“Haha… HAHA!”
His laugh sent a shockwave through the town, destroying everything in its way.
“What...”
With a horrified look on his face, Cosmic Titan glanced around him once more.
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!”
Cosmic Titan’s body lit up with light blue energy.
However, Black Wing did not do anything but laugh.
“YOU MAD--”
Cosmic Titan gave up talking and attacked.
He flew right at Black Wing.
The distance between them was a few meters.
It was a done deal.
But!
While laughing like a psychopath, from under his robes, Black Wing produced a golden glowing sword and stabbed into the ground, sending ripples across the planet.
!!
Cosmic Titan found himself lying face down helplessly on the ground.
“Haha, isn’t this funny?”
My powers… Cosmic Titan forced himself to move his head and look towards the voice. What happened to my powers?
“It is always the opposite. You win, I lose. You triumph while I get humiliated.”
Black Wing walked towards him.
“But this time, it’s different.”
Cosmic Titan could not see his face, but he was sure that Black Wing had a victorious smile on his face.
“This time...”
Black Wing stabbed his foot into Cosmic Titan’s face, blackening his vision.
“YOU LOSE!”

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
