《Blood of the Past》Chapter: XII The Destruction

Revian and Krium crashed together with such force a shockwave was sent out in all directions, leveling everything within many miles. They threw blow after blow at each other, and with each one shockwave after shockwave of energy. This shockwave was the first of many, as with each shockwave that was sent out, they traveled further and further. Everything that stood, no longer did after one of the shockwaves hit it all. Revian and Krium faught, neither caring anymore, they only wanted to end this.
Revian and Krium broke away from one another and Revian took the chance to add some of his input on the matter at hand. Revian said, "I will destroy you Krium. You will not be in my way any longer." Krium laughed and said, "You still do not understand do you? We both shall die today along with your precious people." Revian, angered by this said, "You will know what true power feels like traitor." Revian began to channel his energy and he shot bolts of lightning at Krium who began to dodge them. As Krium dodged he fired back with great balls of fire.
Revian was thrown off by this but he dodged Kriums attacks with ease. The each channeled their power into their blades, erupting each with the power that they held. Revians blade coursed with powerful lightning, and Kriums blade raged an unholy fire. They continued to clash, one not seeming to gain the edge over the other, blow after blow was sent and each met the blows with blocks placed with ease. The power the two commanded started the ground they were standing near to waver and shift. They began to float off of the ground as they fought and after a few seconds they seperated and flew hundreds of feet apart.
The two warriors charged at each other with speed faster than that of the very light this battle was being shone on from. When they clashed they sent out a land shattering blast. The ground beneath them split and created a massive crater which sent jagged chasms in nigh on every direction. These chasms spread many miles, one of which tore directly through Revian's kingdom. In the utter chaos that ensued there, hundreds lost their lives in the event, but more would come. As the castle and its walls crumbled Orik, who now finally understood what Revian had meant when they had spoken earlier. Orik looked out in the direction where the chasm had come and within his final moments he swore he could see the two titans of power in battle.

As Orik fell into the chasm from the wall he had been standing his only thoughts fell on Revian. These wer not thoughts of anger and betrayal, but of pride and respect. Revian had done what he set out to do, he brought peace to his people. This peace was long lived, but maybe not long enough in the eyes of immortals. Orik knew Revian had no control over this moment, and he knew deep down, that Revian faught for all of them. Orik knew, Revian, was not just a Vampire Lord, Revian was and would remain, the Lord of Lord's. Orik descended into the inky black of the chasm, and those were his final thoughts.
The two titans clashed on and on as their power grew out and radiated from them. Soon their weapons could not longer stand the immesurable power being unleashed on them and they shattered as their blades met. Now with no blades they resorted to the only weapons they had left, their fists. It was at this moment that they transceded their fleshly bodies. Each grew, taller than trees, taller than mountains. Revian became an embodiment of pure lightning, whereas Krium became the respective embodiment of pure fire. Now the two towered over everything in the land and any living thing left after the destruction done so far that were close enough to see were left in awe.
The two now literal titans of power clashed, the shockwaves they sent out now utterly destroyed and leveled anything they touch. Every tree turned to splinters and every mountain reduced to rubble. Blow after blow they sent out until everything in the land had been obliterated. They seperated one final time and Revian said,
"This is the end for you brother." Krium laughed and said, "No, this is the end for us both." The two raced at each other, the only intent by either of them was to destroy.
When the two met they sent out a blast of energy that volcanized the land around them, this shockwave traveled so far so fast it completely encompassed the world. Once it reached the opposite side it reflected back, back towards the two. As the two threw countless blow after blow into each other the shockwave was fast approaching. Krium noticed this, Revian did not. Krium laughed as he locked up with Revian and he said, "It seems after all this time brother that we leave this land as we came into it, together." Revian said, "We did not come into this world together Krium, but if we leave it, there was only one other I would rather leave it with."

As Revian did hate Krium for all he did, he truly did respect him. For after all these years the both of them knew each other so well, so well in fact that they both knew the extent of each others power. Revian knew that he could not best Krium, as they were equal in strength. Revian closed his eyes and embraced the fate he was about to be brought to, by their own hands these two beings were hit by the shockwave. The both of them exploded with energy and particles that rained down slowly to the scorched world that had once been filled with many things.
With their end they brought about a new beginning which niether of them had known they would. Millenia passed and soon the first green sprouted into being. Many millenia after, the world they had destroyed once again began to breed life. For in their ultimate struggle, they did what they had been destined to do, and in turn life continued. Revian and Krium, along with the world they knew would never be remembered. Their world would remain lost, as did the worlds before them, and soon after the world they had brought into the light.
As the sun rose on the newly formed planet and the life started to flourish once more, deep in a place where time and space did not exist, new faces rose. A place beyond the land they had once known and a place where they would learn the truth behind their lives and their power. As Revian and Krium would not longer be a part of the physical realm anymore they indeed lived on in a place very far away yet so close to the land they knew, the land they destroyed, and the new one they had unkowingly created.
Revian awoke as if he had been sleeping for a millenia again, but this time was much different, this time he was falling. He tried to reach out and transform as to not slam into the ground which he was hurtling towards but he could not. He closed his eyes and flinched as he rapidly approached the ground, but to his surprise he felt no pain as he softly landed on the dark floor. Revian looked up and saw that Krium was indeed there as well. Revian and Krium made eye contact and charged at each other with ferocity but when they were mere feet apart they were stopped by an unseeable force.
Slowly, a man approached the two of them, a man which they had both seen but did not know. This man was the first of the two they had seen in their visions, the man wreathed in flame. This man said, "Finally you arrive. There is no more need of fighting, you cannot hurt each other in this realm although you may try. Your jobs are done, and your lives begin anew as something else. I am here to guide you, to help you adapt, and to teach you the truth behind your powers, and why you destroyed the land you both clung to so dearly. In due time you both will see the truth, and in due time you both will become friends once more."
