《The Sister In The Forest(Cancelled)》18: Vengeance and Horror. Worry and Doubt

"Aaron…" Lia's worrisome voice quivered behind me, followed by two cold skinny arms cuddling themselves around my neck as strings of hair dropped down my sensitive shoulders, I felt her heavy breathing roll down my skin in thick melodies as I looked outside the tent, watching thirty-two bodies under bags be lifted into many hospitals vans crowded away from silent people. I felt heavy, my chest was stinging painfully, my throat strangled every oxygen that tried slipping through to exhale out through my nose and mouth. Officers grew ten times wary of the scene. I counted at least one hundred and sixteen officers patrolling the area in big populated factions with a serious stare stuck on their faces as the serial killer they were looking for had forty-five bodies under their name.
I felt disgusted and unpleasant, I was paranoid and frightened from what could continue because of me being so weak. Nothing was in my favour, I was trembling under control, my hands were a mind of their own while my mind itself became two pieces of disagreement. I didn't understand what to do, I was crying inside while the outside was trying to find me. All I felt was resentment, I resented my attitude against this threat of violence and was afraid I may lose control again if I tried telling everyone I am the serial killer. I'm surprised I still have a little amount of humanity left inside me crawling around, but so scared that if I expose myself I will be tortured and beaten daily and killed for my sins. Which I needed but didn't want, I wanted to live a long life…
Maybe I am a monster after all…
I stroked Lia's hands gently and massaged them nicely as I drifted off into the air, feeling my sense of worth disappear. Lia rubbed her head up against my head until George came stumbling in, which Lia reacted by lunging backwards and shying away from being caught by George, who looked at me and Lia dumbfounded while I stayed in my place. He sighed and fell onto his bedsheet, he took quick exhales and faced both of us while Lia awkwardly sat behind me, fidgeting with her hair.
"It's scary trying to get food now. You have nine officers following your ass," George moaned.
"Is it that serious and problematic?" Lia quickly responded.
"Uhuh, the machine guns make me shit myself every time," George said, handing me a sandwich in the midst of speaking.
"Shit yourself? You did go to the toilet, right?" Lia choked on her spit as she covered her nostrils in contempt.
"Yes, I had to ask the teachers for a spare pair of pants. It was embarrassing, I think I have paranoia about guns."
"If that's true, you have hoplophobia,"

"There's a word for being scared of firearms?"
"There has always been. It was invented back in 1966."
"Never knew that. The UK has been gun-free for so many decades at this point,"
Was it a phobia? A teraphobia incident? To think I was scared of a monster, it's a half-truth, but it pissed me off. Being scared of something this horrible is not the correct reaction, I need to overcome this bastard or it will get the better of me. There is no way I'm being scared of a bitch, and before I knew it, my hands were gripped hard onto the cover of the tent to the point it was getting ripped from my strength. I will not be afraid of a terrible creature, I will not allow it to defeat me.
"Aaron! You're ripping the tent-" George suddenly stopped warning me when I sped my head around to face him. I saw rage, I saw the fire lit up my eyes as my heart banged, I felt my veins pumping through my entire body and I was getting violent. I puffed like a gorilla and stormed out of the tent. I'm sure George was scared, no, there's no time to empathise with a weakness, I need to get better and stronger. I slipped through the patrolling areas of the guards and rehearsed this monster's killing spree I watched in chains. He did have superspeed, everything around him appeared slow and frozen, I knew it, I now know another power. How did this bastard do it? My thoughts ran wild as I started sprinting in the woods, sprinting to my limit, feeling my shins bend in agony, feeling my feet trample on leaves, cramping in pain as I put all my weight on my body.
Faster, faster, faster, faster, faster, faster. I repeated on and on, reaching further inside the woods, hearing my breath whistle heavier and heavier and my heart became a rash, my nostrils constantly shooting out swarms of oxygen; suppressing my neck as I ignored my exhaustion. I will not be afraid of a bastard threatening my life. I will not allow this bastard to murder anymore, I will not allow this monster to run free from murdering my sister.
Then I stopped in the night, listening to the howls of the wind, listening to the chirping birds flap their muscled wings to lift off into the shivering sky. The moon dimmed onto me, trailing my movements. Was he the one who murdered Althea? And was he now trying to wreck my life as well? Hostility overflowed inside, ambushing every positive spark inside me and puncturing right through them, overflooding my system with a vengeance and horror. Tears that were supposed to fall were leakage of black ink instead, my eyes heightened in senses as I saw the furthest distance an animal could discover and felt a tingle feeling swivel down my legs as I stood myself in a running position. I'm fed up, I'm annoyed, I'm outraged, and it's all my fault. I lifted my feet and saw myself boost across the ground, rapidly zooming past frozen insects, seeing myself flicker and phase through trees as I screamed in rage.

I continued to run, reaching faster lengths, reaching my destiny of dominance, reaching closer to my revenge as I appeared in front of a town, a small populated town. The concrete road underneath shattered the prints of my feet, smashing windows as a whoosh of dangerous wind emerged from behind. My body became an afterimage as I felt lighter and faster, while I saw the windows explode but then quickly freeze in time, I didn't have any texture of the wind, it was mixed in temperature and stayed mixed. The wind didn't exist and I was alone in a world that paused through my eyes. I will not continue to be amazed by this ability anymore, I will use it against this thing, this thing ravaging my life.
The speed that I reached had me dashing across the water, running up skyscrapers and zipping between countries. I wanted to reach the fastest I can conceivably touch with the tip of my finger. I became persistent in destroying this merged personality of mine. Faster, faster, faster! I kept thinking, seeing myself sprint even faster, seeing the world slow down, even more, then a sonic boom came out of nowhere, rattling the sound barrier for the fifth time of my sprint. But this sonic boom tripled in thunders, multiple puffy crowds formed behind me as I didn't stop speeding through endless time.
I need to kill him.

George and Lia looked at each other in confusion after Aaron sprinted out of the tent with unfamiliar eyes. Both had the chills and hugged themselves to have a little quantity of closure. Lia poked her head out of the tent and saw Aaron was nowhere to be seen, he vanished in this short period. She felt uneasy with the eyes Aaron glared at George with, it made her jump to conclusions that Aaron was going to reveal the serial killer himself. Lia instantly panicked, she raced out of the tent and used all the velocity she had to alarm an officer patrolling the area. She was terrified of losing another friend, a friend she started having deep feelings for, a friend that truly looked after her and overlooked the fact that she was a popular pretty teenager that will have many males fighting for her as she is at the age of consent limit. And was also very popular among the campsite and her class, but this didn't stop Lia from having egocentric thoughts and remained reasonable and appreciative, she only wanted Aaron to converse with her.
She was troubled with ominous thoughts, she was about to trip over but grabbed her balance and waved her shaky hands at a female officer, Lia went to open her mouth before something postponed her.
"Officer! My friend went out to find- Ow!" Lia shouted, interrupted by a loud bang near the west of the forest. It was distant but had a large mass of wind escape into the camp and crashed over equipment and knocked over students, also sending students flying into the air who were close to the blast. Lia felt familiar around the boom, it wasn't like something electric or metal exploded, more like something else that needs enough high speeds to create. As Lia crumbles across the grass, rolling far before stopping an inch near the edge of a bench, she glanced at where the direction was coming from and heard a few more sonic booms follow after. Her heart sank as she collected the mystery together. The vanishing act of Aaron a week before, then a tsunami struck the forest, and now, sonic booms after Aaron disappeared again.
She didn't want to believe it one second but her guts twisted and turned, and when they twisted and turned, something was up and instincts were warning Lia about Aaron. She doubted it, doubted it because she had an affection for Aaron and didn't want to see him as a monster but it was the only way. Lia knew something was wrong with Aaron from the first time she met him and interacted with him, his atmosphere made her disturbed all the time. She overgrew this anxiety and it was wriggling back even stronger.
As more booms were heard, Lia fought herself and eventually slapped herself before dragging herself up from the grass and wandering over to the tent to face an unbothered George chewing down his bag of crisps as he watched funny gaming moments on his phone. Lia laid herself on her side of the bedsheets and crawled into a ball to exhale a long, extensive sigh before relaxing herself and controlling her emotions to accept Aaron in her heart.
She loved him too much to throw him out of the circle like that.
And because of some coincidences leading to the truth of Aaron's true self that might answer all these deaths and weird outbursts of nature's anger, Lia will not jump the gun and remained innocent on the fact Aaron may be related to these things, the supernatural occurrences, not the serial killer at large occurrences.
He was a teenager, after all, and most teenagers don't dare to murder someone.
At least that's what she agreed upon.
