As they walked something caught Kedi's eye. All the girls their age were gone, then she saw a paper pinned up. She walked over to a post and pulled a paper off of it and read it. It said,
" By order of the King every eligible woman should be brought to him." After reading this Kedi turned to Alassie and said,
" We need to leave now."
" Why?" Alassie asked. Kedi showed her the paper and there was no discussing it they need to leave now. Sneaking through the trees something caught Alassie's eye. She saw a white horse and on its back was the king. Alassie quickly grabbed Kedi and ducked down.
" Shh," said Alassie putting her finger to her lip. They sit and watched Thranduil come though their town. They both gazed at him as he walk by. They thought he was most handsome. After they watched him walk by then left. They had come back just in time to hear Alassie's mother knocking on the door.
" Yes," Alassie said trying not to let her heavy breathing show from running back.
" Kedi's mother wanted to know if her keys were in here or not," said Alassie's mother.
" I will look for them," said Alassie. While" looking "for the keys Alassie and Kedi changed into clean clothes. Taking the keys from her dress, Alassie called for her mother.
"Mother, I found the keys." Soon her mother came up the stairs and said,
" Slide them under the door." So Alassie did. Unlocking the door Alassie's mother brought their supper in to the room.
" Mmm, that smells good," said Kedi smiling.
" Enjoy," said Alassie's mother as she left. Both of the girls ate in silence. They couldn't keep their minds off of Thranduil and the paper they read.

Homeless (mxm)
Book 1 HomeLessBook 2 ReckLessBook 3 SenseLessBeing homeless isn't the end of the world. At least, that's what Zachary thought when he found himself on the streets after being kicked out at seventeen. It hadn't been his fault. His father had used him as a scapegoat and won his mother over, thinking that her husband was telling the truth about his cheating and that Zachary was the one who was bringing women over, trying to ruin their marriage. He'd argued his side, but once his mother decided on something, her mind would not be changed. That's how he came to live in the alley near the end of 73rd street between the old bakery and a laundromat. It wasn't anything special, but after three years he'd managed to spruce up the place and make it almost-bearable to live in. Over the years he'd made friends with random people he often passed on the streets and did manage to hold down a few random jobs, but like everything else, they came, then went. Now he was left with fifteen dollars and twenty-two cents, a torn blanket, one outfit, and a dream for a better life. He just didn't know that he'd find it somewhere he'd never thought to look... or with someone he never knew he'd want.

Madeline hates Carson. She hates his face, she hates the line of girls constantly following him, and most of all, she hates that she finds him attractive. Carson hates Maddie. He hates the way she knows everything, he hates that everyone else likes her, and most of all, he hates that she hates him. They'd rather die than spend more than a minute alone with each other, and have no problem staying away, either. That is, until staying away is no longer an option.*** This story is NOT mature! Although there are mentions of mature themes and languages, there are no explicit scenes. If you want my reasoning for this decision, it can be found at the end of chapter 37.
