《Re: Hero's Weapons: Reborn》First Fight (Chapter 3)

It's been 7 years since I came into this world. I mastered turning into weapons, and my ShadowStich Techniques. My friend is a human named Shiro, who is from a kingdom from the East. I also learned a few things. In this world, everyone has something called a brand, and it allows them to control an element. I have one, but I don't tell anyone until the right time. And for some reason, females are at the top left in this world, because they are stronger with Mana or something. Obtaining a brand is easy, you you have it when your born. But Beastmen are different. At 7, beastmen have to kill something in order to obtain a brand. So, today I'm going hunting!
"Your a Beastman. Think of something." (Shiro)
I took Shiro along with me, but he's not allowed to use his Eagle Sense. Its the Hunters Sense from Prototype, so he's not allowed to use it. Makes it to easy. I'm hunting a Firemane Lion.
"I'm not a dog."
"That's right. Your a wolf. Use your smell or something."
"Shut it."
I start smelling, in I start to smell smoke.
"Where's the smoke coming from?"
"Hah?"
"The smoke. It's co-..."
"The Orphanage!" (Both)
We start running towards the orphanage and see... Nothing. No smoke, no fire. We turn around...
"..."
"..."
"ROAAR!!!"
"We have to fight." (Me)
"Yep. Now get on with it." (Shiro)
"Can you leave? I want to try something and I don't want you to get hurt." (Me)
"I know you can turn into a weapon. I'm staying right here. Also, it's coming for you." (Shiro)
"Damn it Shiro!" (Me)
After we have been fighting, I haven't defeated it yet.

*ROAR!*
"Die!"
My arm turns into a sword and I start attacking it.
"ShadowStich Slash!"
A blade of pure darkness shoots out of my blade arm.
It gets hit by it, but it doesn't kill him
It doesn't work, so I try my final move. I start to vibrate my sword arm, surround it with darkness, and I stab it in the balls.
"..."
"Markus, I have new respect for you."
The lion falls down, and it's body starts to evaporate like a dead Titan. (AoT) The only thing left is it's core. I pick it up, and I destroy it.
"I take it back. You just destroyed your only chance of being important." (Shiro)
I show him my right wrist. He sees the brand.
"Waa..?" (Shiro)
"I had it for a while now. I killed a salamander when I was training." (Me)
Of course, I was lying. I had it since I was born. But do you want to know why I destroyed the core? I used Chimera Soul and I absorbed it's power. I also gained it's levels.
After discussing how he figured it out, which was when we were young, he saw me do it in front of him.
"When did you make that move?"
"Just now. I used My Mana Manipulation and ShadowStich Stab." (Me)
"What the hell is Mana Manipulation?" (Shiro)
"It's exactly what it sounds like. I can control the Mana within me." (Me)
"Well, now you can use it outside of you with that brand of yours." (Shiro)
"Yep. Let's go back and tell Sraftea what happened, and let's see what this brand can do." (Me)
