《The Celestial Swordsman》Chapter 1.4: A Week in the King's Castle

The same day after meeting the king, the same man who had invited him to the castle, whose name turned out to be Arakan, a dwarf servant of the king, had informed Hoshi, that his shield, including getting all the materials would take seven weeks to make.
Afterward, he was assigned a guest bedroom on the right flank of the castle with a view of the city and mountains behind. It was a very nice room with a large bed, bathroom, and a couch-like object.
It was nearing night when Hoshi had gotten his room and new fancy clothes to change into as well as a robe for sleeping.
Since it was already dark Hoshi decided to order a delicious dinner of steak salad and baked potatoes along with water, since this medieval world didn't exactly have a lot of drinks.
After finishing his meal he went over to the large window, opened it, and looked forward to the city. Since he had a week to spare he planned to do some tourist activities as the city was quite large. After he would receive his shield he planned to ask for some food to take with him and head to the mountains.
When he was finished watching the city lit up by candles and magic Hoshi went to sleep.
The next morning Hoshi woke up full of energy as he was well-rested, changed clothes, and went over to the dining room. Hoshi already knew the layout of the castle, as Arakan had shown Hoshi around the castle.
At the entrance of the dining room, he met Arakan and a maid standing by the door, welcoming Hoshi in. There, waiting for him was a long dining table with dozens of dishes from all around the world. Sitting at one end of the table was the king, next to him — his mother.

Arakan invited Hoshi to sit down at the other and of the table and chose any meal he would like. Hoshi chose a salad, a chicken wing, and apple juice as his meal.
The king attempted to converse with Hoshi, but since they were on completely different ends of a huge table even when yelling Hoshi could not hear a single thing the king said.
Hoshi ate a bit more than what he chose at the beginning and at the end of breakfast was stuffed.
Hoshi thanked the king for the food even though the king didn't hear it, stood up, and exited the dining room, Arakan following behind.
"Sir, you can't just leave on you're own." Arakan said as he caught up to Hoshi, "You're royalty and you must be protected at all times!"
"Thanks." Hoshi said as he smiled at Arakan, "But you don't have to call me sir. Call me Hoshi or Satoh or Hoshi Satoh."
"O-OK... Satoh..." Arakan nodded as he agreed, "But where are you going?"
"Since I'm gonna be here a while, I decided I should venture around the city and find out a little more about you're culture and lifestyles."
"I see. Well if you would like I could show you around the city. I've lived here most of my life."
"That would be very nice. Let's go." Hoshi said as they continued walking.
That day Hoshiop and Arakan visited a park in the city, several markets, and a flower field.
They both returned happy that day and went to sleep ready for the next.
They explored the city for the next three days.
On the morning of the fifth day at the castle, Hoshi received good news from the king personally.
"Hello, mister Satoh. As you know it was planned that your shield would be ready in seven days. luckily when they heard that the ingredients and shield were for someone with a Celestials blessing they put our order as they're primary one and we were able to gather all the ingredients much faster, but do not fear the ingredients are top tier and the blacksmith was very careful creating the shield."

"That's great!" Hoshi excitedly replied.
"So now please follow me." the king said and turned around and began walking as Hoshi rushed beside him.
Hoshi followed the king through almost the entire castle to the left flank of the castle. There standing was a tall man with a light blue robe with different golden patterns all across it. The man was holding a white sheet that was wrapped around a tall rectangle-shaped object.
When they got closer the man greeted them and took off the sheet revealing a tall rectangle-shaped shield with a golden outline heading into the center where a light blue diamond was surrounded by dark blue highlights. It was Hoshi's new shield.
The man gave it to Hoshi and he took it. The shield was a bit heavy, but Hoshi was blessed by the Celestial of strength and had no problem holding it.
"This shield is amazing!" Hoshi exclaimed, "Does it have a name?"
"Celestial GalaxyGuard." the tall man replied in his deep voice.
Awesome! Hoshi thought, With my Celestial StarBlade and GalaxyGuard I can take down any enemy.
The blacksmith showed Hoshi how he could compress and expand the shield with magic in and out of the crystal in the middle of the shield, making it easier to carry.
"I understand you will be leaving now." the king said to Hoshi, "We will assemble a basic needs kit, with food, money, and a change of clothes for you."
"Thank you very much," Hoshi replied and went to his room.

GIG: God In Gold
So let's cut the pretense: this is some garbage-tier weaboo fiction. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I feel it's important to say that this is some nonsense I write for fun. I don't think it's very good. I'd even go as far as to say that I'm not a good writer at all. I picked up a ball that started rolling when I was a kid and have been intermittently punting it towards the next chapter whenever I feel like it. And you can come on this garbage ride too if you really feel like it. Who knows, maybe there's some gold to be salvaged from this dumpster fire? Synposis: Satou Shibuya is a first year student at Niflheim's Kawagusa General Academy. He's also the self-proclaimed strongest power user, sporting a big enough number on his birth certificate to make a nuclear bomb glow green with envy. There's something to be said about a person whose head is so far up their own ass that you find yourself watching their every move with bated breath, ever curious to see which hole they'll dig themselves into next. This is not that kind of story. This is a story about pride, coming of age, but actually, this is a story about big, stupid superpowered fights. Update Schedule: Whenever.

Stairway to Heaven
Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings, far too weak to survive amid the other extraterrestrials that lie dormant across the galaxies. Instead of physical altercations, they would rather engage in verbal abuse, breaking an individual's psyche as a hobby. They excel at deception and manipulation, far too interested in bringing their brothers and sisters down and reaching for the top of their self-made hierarchies. Beyond their questionable nature and moral compasses, they long to find meaning in their lives and put names to the feelings that drive each passing moment. They are insatiable—far too greedy for more knowledge and a supposed understanding of their lives. It's pitiable, really, the way they struggle to find themselves while ravaging their kind through petty wars and conflicts built off of misunderstanding. Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings. They created words and languages to fill the holes that lived inside their souls, desperate for ways to find meaning in their incredibly short lifespans. They'll waste their entire lives trying to find their so-called passions and reasons for living, acting as if they truly rule the way their lives go, supposed "controllers of their own destiny." Yet, they cannot evade the inevitable visit from death, who stands next to them, ticking the seconds down until their demise.
