Chapter 4 (not on King point of view)

Light… Before going to this world all I see is light…….

Sazami Myuki that’s my name. I was born and raised in Japan. I am the only child and in my world everything is peaceful.

In my world I have a friend named Maburi Kotaro. He’s a kind and gentle guy. Although he doesn’t have a the looks that can make girls love at first sight. Kotaro is my childhood friend and is also my bestfriend.

He always accompany me and help me to solve my problem, you can say that I’m dependent to him but I don’t care. Kotaro is not the most handsome guy and neither the smartest one but I still love him as a family and as a man.

There was a time when Kotaro protected me from a bunch of ruffians and as a result, Kotaro became heavily injured and has to take a one week break from school. Kotaro is always like that, even if it’s stranger he will not think twice to put his life in danger.

But one day……. Kotaro suddenly disappeared. His guardian said that there was a bright light that appeared and after that he disappeared. The police decided to stop the search operation.

I didn’t give up though. I still search for him and search and search and search until my parents told me to stop. But I didn’t listen to them so they locked me up in my room instead saying that I must accept the fact that Kotaro will never come back.

They have a point though……. Because it’s been a year since he last appeared so…… I always spend my time crying and crying to the point that I can’t cry anymore.

But when I’m starting to lose hope….. A white light embrace me. And after I opened my eyes, I was in a huge room with expensive decoration.

“Welcome our heroes!” A young woman welcomed me for some reason. She was wearing a fancy dress and has a small crown on her head. She has a long blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a beauty that can get every man she wants easily.

I looked at the surrounding and there I see that I am not the only here. There was a man who’s the same age as me. He has a medium structure, a brown hair and a handsome face.

The next one is the woman who has a very….very mature body.. She has a blonde hair and a fearless face. And the last one is a man who seems in mid 20’s. He wore a glass and his tall structure makes him look scary and mysterious.

“Heroes!! Please save help our little Kingdom to repel demons!” She seems earnest with her request. “What?” The first one to react is the mature man.

“What are we doing here?” The mature man asked. The girl doesn’t speak but instead smile. “You are here because you are summoned” The one who speak up is a fat old man that’s walking towards us.

“Who are you?” The man mature said. “Oh please forgive me for my rudeness… I am the King of this Kingdom.. I am King Albert. And this one is the princess of this Kingdom, Princess Elizabeth” “Pleased to meet you”

“Why are we here?” the one who speak this time is the boy who’s around my age. The King looked at him and said. “You are here because you were summoned by our magicians to protect us from demon”

“And what are your assurance that we will do it?” The woman said it with haughty tone. “Well… It’s because it’s the only way for you guys to get back home” The king declared.

Wait…. Summoned? Perhaps there’s a chance that Kotaro is in this world! “Excuse me!” All of them look at me at the same time. “What?” The king encourage me to continue.

“By… By any chance. Did you know a person that named Maburi Kotaro?” After I said that the Princess and the King has a shock expression on their face. “Are you perhaps acquainted with this person?” The King asked.

“Yes! Yes!” I said in excitement. “So do you know a person named Kotaro!” I said. “Yes…. Of course He is one of the Holy Seven” He said. “Amongst the Heroes, he’s the one who governs Hope… The one who can create anything by a mere word” He said.

“Wow…..Kotaro-kun is sure amazing…” Kotaro is in this world. I will definitely find him this time! But I need the support of the Kingdom to help me so “I accept, I will protect this kingdom as a hero!” I declared. “Good how about the other?” The King said.

“What will you do if we say that we would like to leave?” The mature man said. “Then we will let you leave but don’t expect that the Kingdom will take care of you after that” The king replied.

“You’re the one that summoned us right! Then take responsibility at least!” the boy said in rage. “That’s not how the world works boy” The king said while having the smug face.

This King is disgusting but I must tolerate this to find Kotaro! “What!” The boy said. It looks like he can’t believe on what the King said.

“Then I will be a hero” The mature man said. “No choice I guess” The woman said. “Good… and how about you boy?” “kuu…. T-then… me too.”

“Alright then! We will start the training!”

It’s been four months since we arrived at this world. I am the mage of the group, everyone said that I am great at magic or I’m talented. Of course I am happy by those words but I very well know that those are mere flattery.

In those four months, we’ve encountered a bunch of monster such as chimera and the most frequent one, the Silver Wolf.

Currently we’re here at the old Great Demon King castle, the King said that this place would be a great hunting spot for us heroes but I think that we didn’t really view this as hunting.

The enemies we encountered at first is surely strong but as we level up, they held no threat to us so all of us think of this a sightseeing that we can enjoy peacefully.

“Silver Wolf… north” The one who said that is Alex White. From what he said, he’s a Half American – Half British. He is our Assassin and spy, he’s quite— no…. He’s really good at tracking and surprise attack.

I concentrate my mana and imagine an arrow, the air started to gather around my staff and after that a white arrow started to appear. “Go”

I lunch the magic arrow at full speed, the arrow is chanted with poison so even if it miss it will slow him down quite a bit. But the Silver Wolf evaded it splendidly.

“Alex go” The knight who is acting as our leader Julius Walter, commanded Alex-san. Julius-san might be a little emotional sometimes but there’s no doubt with his skills to command others

Alex-san runs towards the Silver Wolf and stopped it. As expected! He can definitely chase the Silver Wolf! We follow up after the wolf stops.

“Good Job Alex!! This Silver Wolf is ours!!” Yey! This is our 14th time isn’t” “Don’t let your guard down! We still need to take down this monster!” This is our 14th times that we encountered a Silver Wolf since we came to this world. I memorize all of the skill that a Silver Wolf posses.

“To the fighting formation quick!” Julius-san said. We soon come to our position and ready ourselves. “Myuki! Buffs!” I nodded to Julius-kun and started to chant the spell. “Spirits lend me your power and help me defeat my enem—“ While I chanting the spell

The Beserker, Raina Ford dashes forward to the Silver World with her great sword. She’s keeping the Silver Wolf distracting for a moment. She kept slashing the wolf but the wolf evaded the attack with ease.

The wolf raise its claws and slash Raina-san, Raina-san blocked the attack with her great sword but she seems hurt by the impact. “Tch… Be careful!! This one seems strong!” she said.

After I finish the enchantment I nodded at Julius-san. “Ok everyone! 1!...2!...3!” Julius-san commanded.

Alex-san started to rush to the Silver Wolf, due to my enchantment his movement are more fast than his normal. He keeps attacking the wolf as we go to our plan. Now! We’re ready! We’ve blocked all the escape route!

Looks like the wolf also noticed it but the wolf did not panicked. Surprising…..I am surprised that the Silver Wolf still have its calmness after that. The Silver Wolf stomped his feet through the ground and as soon as he did that, an electric wave started to release through his body.

The electric wave crawls toward my hair and skin. It doesn’t hurt but it’s making my body feel numb and hard to move. The wolf looked at me and gave me a glare that could kill anyone. But I did not falter. I’m not scared by that because I know that Raina-san will protect me.

Raina-san goes to my front to guard me. The Silver Wolf starts to glow in silver light and. The Silver Wolf turns into a lightning!! What is this!! It’s clearly different to what we’ve been fighting this whole time!

The Lightning passed through Raina-san and is coming towards me. I didn’t panic though because I know that my magic barrier will protect me to any kind of physical attack, so after he finished attacking me it will give us enough time to attack and kill him.

The lightning was stopped by my barrier and turns into his original form. ‘Now it’s our turn!’ But before I could say that, I was surprised by the thunder that follows through the lightning attack. My head hurts! It’s like there was a curse enchanted with the thunder! I feel dizzy and I’m sure that everyone feels the same.

Before we can recover, the Silver Wolf stomped his feet on the ground again but, he became a lightning but the lightning splits into four…..no…..This is hopeless…..

All of us attacked each one, we can’t think properly on this time…… we only have to survive so we can be stronger and make sure that this thing won’t happen again.

‘Kotaro…. I want to see Kotaro just one more time please’….. And after that we’ve been defeated by the Silver Wolf and lost our consciousness.

I woke up to an inn. It looks like we were spotted by the adventurers and took us to this inn. Luckily they are a not bandits or a criminal.

After we all woke up, we started our monthly meeting. All of us are silent…. It’s only normal though. “So…… I think…..we should take this seriously…” Alex-san said. “We’re nearly killed” “Raina-san…” This is the first time that our lives nearly lost.

We are not careful enough, one single mistake and…. All of us will die in that battle. It’s a miracle that the Silver Wolf decided to leave quietly and didn’t kill us. But most of the monster that we will encounter is not that kind hearted.

The atmosphere is expectedly heavy…… “What’s with this!” The one who’s speaking is Julius-san. He shouted and stands up from his sit. “It’s normal for a fight to have a winner right! It’s just! We need to be stronger in order for us to be the winner!” “Julius-san…” Julius-san is always positive when it comes to this thing. He always support us everytime we’re depressed.

“Heh, to think that I would be encourage by someone like you” Alex-san said. “Kakakaka!! Nice one Julies!” “Ah! Not Julies but Julius!!” “Hahahahaha” I can’t help but to laugh. Both Alex-san and Rania-san regained their positive attitude by Julius-san words.

Julius-san is right, and I am sure that Kotaro experience much more worse than this. “Haaah… So you guys would like to continue our ‘sightseeing’?” Julius-san said. “Yes!” I replied.

“This is troublesome” “Yeah, we wanted to enjoy our trip after all” Both Raina-san and Julius-san said this. Because we are careless, the people of this town recognize us.. or more like they recognize Alex-san and deduce that we are the heroes of the Highland Kingdom.

“Awesome!” “They look cool!” “They come from the other world right?” Different kind of reaction can be heard but suddenly I sense something. This mana….. I feel like I’ve seen this before… Ah! The Silver Wolf!

I look around and search where the mana came from and then, I saw a young man wearing a black suit. He’s quite handsome but somewhat mysterious. I decided to talk with him

“Um... Excuse me” “What is it?” He replied. “Did we meet before?” He looked me straight into my eyes and said “Hmm? You might not remember but we certainly met. It is in the celebration party that the empire held but I guess you cannot afford to remember this lowly merchant” Oh….

It’s true that we attend party with nobles but I can’t remember this man… There’s too many of them to remember! Maybe I’m just wrong….. I think that I was mistaken that this man has the same mana as the Silver Wolf.

I apologize to the man and then Julius-san see’s me and greeted us. “Yo! Myuki whom you talking to?” “Ah Julius-san I’m just chatting with…. Eto……” What is his name? I forgot to ask. “King” while he looks at me with confusion is it because with the san? “Oh! It’s just a thing from my country, I want to get rid of it but……..” I can’t get it out of my system.

There’s no way I could say that! It will look like I’m just a country bumpkin! “Then what are you guys talking about?” Julius-san said. It’s only a little but there’s a hint of annoyance coming from Julius-san.

I just notice this but Julius-san looks angry whenever I talk to the other guys except for him and Alex-san. Then I notice King-san smile as if he’s a demon or something and said. “Aahh Miss Myuki is just accompanying this lonely old man”

Old? But to me King-san is the same age as us” But that’s not that strange, in this world people like noble and merchant use potion called elixir to stop their outward appearances from aging He further more smile and looks to me with playful eyes. “Really? Hahaha you are quite a flirt despite your appearance” W-what! My face and my ears are starting to get red! ‘F-flirt! me!’

“What! Myuki is not a loose woman! S-she’s kind and gentle!” Julius-san seems angry with his remarks but King-san cut him off. “Hold it right there Mister Fiance, I was only messing around” Julius-san became silent immediately. I don’t know the reason but Julius-san seems red too!

Rania-san and Alex-san follow us, I thought that Rania-san would help us but even them is defeated by King-san

King-san dropped the bomb and said that they are lovers! But when I look at them they really are close that it’s normal for them to be called a lover. How come that they did not tell us their relationship.

When all of us are getting panicky I notice that King-san said something like “Thank you for the moment but I must take my leave now” and then leave. I wanted to stop him but because of the current situation I can’t possibly call for him!! Mouh!! I will definitely get my revenge next time!!!!!
