“Calling to Jue Yuvhan and Skoti Draug, what happened? Did you lose them?” asked Darth Vaita over a com link. Jue, a Rodian, facepalmed.
“They used überspace,” he complained. “But we tracked their signature down to Tatooine. Their ship exploded but we picked up one escape pod.”
“So only one of them made it out alive?” asked Darth Vaita.
“Well theoretically, two, at most, could fit into one of those pods,” said Skoti, a Pantoran.
“This is too easy,” muttered Darth Vaita. “There’s no way we already got rid of two of them. I want you two to investigate.”
“As you wish,” said Jue before killing the com link.

Esper: Search for Power
Dan Martin has a good life. He's respected at his job, and enjoys his work. He is close to his family, and they love and support him. With engaging hobbies, relative financial security, and freedom to learn and pursue his interests, Dan is happy. So it's not particularly welcome when he's selected by an inscrutable and seemingly omnipotent System as a test subject. The downsides: All of this is insane and by any rational analysis he's gonna die. The upsides: Super powers, a cure for a physical disability that had limited him, and above all, so very much to learn (for as long as he can avoid dying). I am very much a beginner as an author, and any feedback or suggestions on how to improve would be deeply appreciated. Chapter releases should be daily for the first two weeks and sporadic after that as I use up my buffer. Please consider this work as a rough draft subject to revision and/or retcon. It is not only my first attempt at original story telling, but at world building and RPG style system design. The latter has been very difficult, even drawing on the brilliant work of many RPGs and LitRPGs for inspiration. Thank you to any willing to give a new story and a new writer a try!

The city is full of zombies and he has magic abilities. Later he meets with the beautiful vampire girl Liana. She was in an adventurer party searching for loot in the city, but her party was ambushed by the zombies and all other members were killed. Loathing being alone she decides to stay with Myke for now. Myke learns from Liana about this new world. She also doesn’t have all the answers and together they go on an adventure to find the truth.

I will note that, as pretty much all LitRPG novels have, that, to a certain extent, I have taken inspiration from other works I have read. This, however, is an original fiction. I hope any and all of you who read this fiction enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoy writing it, and please feel free to comment - I recognice that this will need work and will have things like typos - please feel free to point out any obvious things I forget about or miss out, as well as any typos. Also, feel free to lob suggestions my way if you have any - while I may not use them, they could very well inspire me in some way or another and help me improve this fiction, even if just by a little bit.
