《Book 1: Demonic Wolfsbane》Chapter 13: Wrapping things up

The Blood in the streets started roiling as it started to fuse into one big stream of blood, before finally transforming into a pond that surrounded Kaleb.
The Blood started to enter into Kaleb’s body as it started to change him, his body which was still in its demonic form had the streaks of read turn into lines twirling around in strange tribal markings, until they final settled into strange blood-colored lines leading into one strange tribal tattoo covering his torso, radiating with power.
As this finished Kaleb felt his demonic energy fluctuate before it stabilized, and when it did his new demonic body finally felt complete. Before even though he felt powerful in his new demonic body, their was always this feeling in the back of his mind, like a scratch you can’t itch, but finally it was gone, and he finally felt at home in his newly formed body. When his Demonic body was completed and his tattoo finished forming it then faded away like it was never there, then Kaleb’s body started to de-transform from his demonic body back to his human one.
The feeling of his demonic rebirth being complete overcame him as he was filled with ecstasy, but that did not last long as Beltazaar suddenly appeared out of thin air in front of him, killing his mood. “Congrats on the revenge, now that is done, time for you to start pulling your weight as a new demon under my command, the first objective is to wipe out all the werewolves on this continent.” Beltazaar lazily ordered.
Kaleb was filled with many emotions, anger at being ordered around like a lackey but he was a newly transformed demon, it would take alot of time before he was powerful enough to gain his freedom, so for now he decided to play the good little demonic soldier. Second was reluctance as his objective was to rid this continent of werewolves, and third was interest, he had never heard this word “continent” before, and when the word being spoken he was intrigued.
“Fine, I accept the task you’ve given me, but what is this word “continent that you speak of Beltazaar.”
Beltazaar sighed. “Right I forgot even tho you’ve been through alot and it has made you seem mature, you’re nothing but a 14 year old kid, how annoying I guess i’ll have to explain, a continent is a huge land mass made up of earth that is separated on all sides by water.”

Kaleb looked confused. “I remember hearing a legend of a place surrounded by water on all sides but I thought that was called an island?”
“Sorta continents are much bigger than an island imagine an island is the size of your hand, but a continent is the size of your entire body, see the difference. Now enough questions i’m your boss not your teacher, here take this werewolf transformation spell book, memorize it then burn it.” Beltazaar rudely ordered.
Kaleb caught the book Beltazaar threw at him, and flipped it open and started reading it, the summary of the contents of the book were that to transform into the visage of a werewolf you needed two things demonic energy and the be familiar with the anatomy of a werewolf.
Looking around Kaleb spotted a dead werewolf and manipulated his demonic energy turning his index finger nail into a claw, then ripped open the werewolf corpse and started to study it, after about an hour he tried transforming he manipulated the demonic energy in his body and started to make it flow, as he did this he imagined the body of the werewolf he just finished inspecting. His body suddenly starting to contort as pain spread throughout it, as he was turning into the spitting image of a werewolf.
Kaleb felt very weird and uncomfortable so he tried to get accustomed to this new body, after 10 minutes he had just gotten down the basics, when a loud yell interrupted him. “Enough! Time to get a move on, i’ve been standing here for over an hour and i’m so frickin’ bored! Now you are to head to the Capital of this region, which the royal family that rules there are actually werewolves, I gave you that transformation spell, so you could hide in plain sight if you encountered a full blooded werewolf.” Beltazaar said angrily at being made to wait by his subordinate.
“Full-blooded werewolf?” Kaleb asked.
Beltazaar’s grew angrier, but he knew he subordinate needed to know this stuff to complete the objective, and if Kaleb failed, it would make Beltazaar look bad in front of his boss and he would get punished for it also. “Yes, the werewolves you fought were ones with a diluted bloodline, the royal family members in the capital all are descendants of full blooded werewolves, because the King arranges all the marriages, as to keep the bloodline as pure as possible. And Last the reasons i’m ordering you to kill all the werewolves on this continent is because others were given the same orders as you on different continents, and this is because werewolves are actually a failed experiment by The Demonic Wolf Race.”

Kaleb was stunned with all the new information, he tried his best to remember, luckily his mind was alot sharper as a demon so he had only a little trouble, before it was all memorized. Suddenly he had a question. “Werewolves are a failed experiment? And why have werewolves existed this long? Especially since me and others were given orders to wipe them out.” Kaleb asked hoping Beltazaar would answer, and not get angrier.
Beltazaar was growing angrier and angrier, when he had an idea that allowed him to calm himself down, an evil smile spread on his face as he said. “I have already given you what you need to know to complete your mission, if you want more information on the werewolves past experiments, and why only now are the werewolves being eradicated, then you will have to owe me a favor, and favors are never easy, but they’re also never boring. “Beltazaar said as he laughed like a madman.”
Kaleb sighed, he knew it wasn’t a good idea to be indebted to anyone, especially a sick demon with a twisted mentality, but he also knew that he was very ignorant when it came to the human world and the demon world, so he needed to learn more. “Fine, I accept, i’ll owe you a favor, now tell me.”
Beltazaar grin widened as Kaleb agreed to his terms. “Alright, i’ll hurry then, I wan’t to get out of the human world as fast as I possibly can, the werewolf experiments were done by the Demonic Wolf Race, to try and turn humans into a variation of a demonic wolf, so they could easily build an army since humans reproduce so quickly, in fact many demon race’s have done experiments on humans creating many different variant demonic race’s, but almost all the experiments end up with the new demons being pitifully weak, even the full-blooded werewolves are nothing compared to a Demonic Wolf. Now as to why exactly this is happening now, the werewolves have become to widespread, and active in the human world, which means the failed experiments of the Demonic Wolf’s embarrassing mistake has grown to big, and lately all the other demonic races won’t let the Demon Wolf’s forget about their mistake. So finally they couldn’t take it anymore and they made a deal with my superiors to exterminate the werewolves once and for all.”
Interesting Kaleb thought, all this was happening just because the Demonic Wolf Race leaders cared that much about what the other Demonic Race’s thought about them, how foolish, he thought. He now knew a little bit more, but it still seemed little as he remembered how vast a continent was compared to himself, and it seemed there were more than one of these “continents” or why else would Beltazaar say that others were given the same order.
As these thoughts raced through Kaleb’s mind he suddenly remembered something he had to take care of, he walked to a house and entered it and brought out the dead woman and unconscious young girl.
When Beltazaar saw this he grew from being bored, to a little bit interested, as he asked Kaleb why the girl was still alive, his face grew delighted when he heard Kaleb describe the situation. “So what are you going to do with her now?” Beltazaar excitedly asked.
Kaleb looked at the young girl, and then cut off her head while she was still unconscious. Then threw her body and her mothers body into the massive pile of dead body’s of the villagers.
