《I'll become your Knight》Chapter 19

Glee filled my face when staring at my victorious efforts, while ms.Watanabe was stunned in complete awe of the event that had just transpired.
“How could I have possibly lost, I thought for sure you would throw scissors, no the better question is how you could have possibly won?”
“I’m as shocked as you, to be honest it was most probably a lucky turn in my favor hahaha~ Luckily It was a one round match though.”
Of course I’m lying through my teeth here, if I play this out just right I can get her to leave without making any sort of fuss and I can return to my peaceful night’s sleep and relaxation…To some extent.
Before I had agreed to ms.Watanabes bet for the punishment I was truly set on choosing not to participate in the challenge as it would not benefit me in any way.
However upon looking down to her pocket I noticed a scratcher card, this was a small piece of evidence showing me she was somewhat of a gambler although not quite enough to know for sure. So when I noticed the smell of cigarettes radiating from her the other day when I had first met her then I put it together that she must have quite the gambling addiction to carry those items around on her.
Seeing as she still needs to use scratch cards I would assume she is also pretty bad at gambling which is why I decided to throw paper, because rock would be the most common choice among most people.
I never would have thought it would go this smoothly though, it’s as if I was controlling the scene out in my head.
“Well then lucky me huh, I should probably take my win and accept my punishment.”,

I said in a coy matter.
Ms.Watanabes expression started reverting back into a mild rage as she squeezed a tight fist and clenched her teeth.
“You don’t seem very calm, are you that worried about me and this punishment?”
“You should be more worried about how you’ll survive the terms worth of punishment you’re getting!”
“I don’t think so, in case you forgot let me remind you. I won our bet, maybe off of luck but I won none the less, so no terms worth off-”
“Let’s go again then you runt!”, she yelled out.
Bingo, right into my trap.
“Again, but I thought you said one round and don’t come crying to you when I lose?”
Her anger began intensifying by my taunts to the point where her moans became tiny growls that she let off.
“Well then you should have no problem in accepting again then shouldn’t you, if you’re so confident in that luck of yours.”, she said irritably.
At that stage she had already moved closer and closer without noticing until she was standing right in front of me no further than an inch from our noses touching.
Just like that she wants the rematch, that’s the best part about gamblers. Now I just have to lay down the incentive and get her to take it.
“I’d like to take your challenge again, I really would but~”, I noted.
“But…what?”
“…but I’ll have to get more out of it than a less harsh punishment.”
Now she should put removing the punishment entirely on the table and I’ll take the deal as if it’s helping me out.
All according to-
“If I lose I’ll take the punishment instead!”, she yelled out earnestly.
-an…Wait what did she just say?
“You’ll take the punishment, as in you’ll do it all?”

This makes no sense, why wouldn’t she go straight for the removal of the punishment if the answers within her control? Unless…oh no! I didn’t account for her being a bad gambler to affect me, she gambled the wrong price!
“You wanna tell me you want to back out, eh?!”, she said in a menacing tone.
She grabbed my collar and lifted me a good 5 inches off the ground shaking me slightly back and forth, leaving me with a degraded feeling of helplessness.
“Fah-ine…I-axe-ept!”, I let out in an attempt to speak.
Ms.Watanabe released me and I dropped down to the floor landing on my behind, I felt the shame of being tossed around by a woman only moments after impact on the floor.
“Now then, are you planning for a round tow or can we get this over with?”, ms.Watanabe asked.
She’s definitely a gambling addict with that kind of attitude and that short patience only proves she’s a bad one at that.
“I’m ready, to beat you!”,
My tone had completely changed, there was no more reason to play the fool and now I was able to release my true intentions.
As I stood up slowly I remained eye contact with ms.Watanabe and showed a face that presented confidence.
“Before we begin I should let you know one thing.”
“Oh what is it now, don’t tell me I have to shake you around some more.”, she said irritably.
“For this final round,
I will only throw rock.”
“…Huh?”
She was completely confused as to how she should have reacted; only being able to form a blank expression on her face with her mouth left a bit open.
“Don’t think you can mess with me brat, I can promise you that with this round you won’t have the same luck you did before.”
At this point ms.Watanabe was sincerely convinced to her own victory, she was either really stupid or an optimist to her own fortunes. Seeing as she was the principal to this school and was faced with many difficult decisions and matters each day I could only suspect it was the latter.
“I completely agree because this time I will win completely from my skills alone.”, I said calmly.
“Rock.”
“Paper.”
“Scissors!”
