Jin doubted the demon lord's words for a second. Why would he become aroused out of the blue?. But Jin being 'not a clichéd Idiot' agreed to the words and got up.

Incredibly, the pain in his hand had vanished. But something more incredible than that was the fact that his comical friends hadn't returned with the nurse yet.

"What would be the most important thing I would tell you now?... mmmm"

Jin scratched his chin and crossed his arms together.

"Ahhh..."

Jin snapped his fingers as he started walking towards the stairs which led him to his class downstairs.

"Once a user receives an 'HEQ'... the levels accumulated till then would be reset back to Level 1. But the reset levels will be transferred to stat points the user can use to 'obviously' increase his stats... for each level, the amount of stat points received is multiplied by the class the user receives... It starts from ten for the Basic Class, multiplies into ten for each class, and ends with a 'lakh' or 'hundred thousand' for the Origin Class.

[Great!!. How do you receive an 'HEQ' ???]

"Umm... I'm not so positive about the way you are rushing your words... but the activation of 'HEQs' is random and automatic."

"It's just lately that the experimenters had concluded that a person's HEQ activation normally happens as he turns 18... Just like stepping onto Adulthood, a person steps into the world of hunters at the age of 18... But there have been exceptions..."

Jin replied as he slowly walked to his, oddly, quiet class.

[ARGHH. Fuck!!]

"But there is a way for me to receive an HEQ"

Jin negated the demon's given up cry as he took a peek through the door of his classroom.

It was EMPTY.

"What??. Why is it empty?? Where'd these guys go?"

Jin questioned himself and his surrounding as he took a look around.

The classrooms attached with his were quiet as well and as he peeked inside them, it was the same as his classroom. It was simply EMPTY. Even the school bags of the students had vanished.

[What is that way?]

"Eh?... Ah... There's a mountain behind this school... And at its top is an Awakening Centre... that is where people who have attained the age of 17 activate their HEQ... But why is this school empty??"

Jin replied obliviously and canvassed at the same time.

The queer silence seemed to bug him. Even his friends were nowhere to be seen.

[Then, let's go. We'll rush to the mountain first before the hunter finds us...]

"Hunter?? What bullshit have you been smoking Demon Lord?... Why would be there a hunter at a scho..."

A loud boom echoed through the corridor as the other half of the school he was standing on disintegrated into pebbles.

From the debris, rose a man who was a foot higher than him. The buff muscularly built and naked torso of the bald black man was making Jin's knee tremble in shock.

"Th... Theo Tremor??"

Jin's words escaped his mouth as he ducked inside the classroom, through the open window.

Theo Tremor... A High Tier Diamond Hunter and a Mythic Class had just destroyed half of his school and as Jin spied him through the window, his intuition hinted that the Diamond Tier Hunter seemed to be looking for something... or someone.

Jin knew him from the magazines he read the day before. So practically... the man before him... Theo Tremor... was the fifth strongest man in the country.

But what was a man like him doing here?... That too destroying the Government run school of his??.

"What's happening???"

Jin raised a question to the demon lord inside him. He was sure the demon seemed to know what was happening.

He remembered how the demon lord had warned him to make it quick. Was it because of this??. Because this hunter had gone corrupt and was destroying schools?.

There was no reply.

"Hello?... You there? Stop kidding. Where are you when I need you the most???"

Jin slapped himself as if he thought it would do any better to wake up the deep raspy voice inside him.

The Demon Lord inside him had gone mute and before him and on the debris of the broken school stood a man who was a centimeter close to being a Hunter Monarch.

Jin's ears perched as he leaned against the wall. The Hunter was speaking to someone.

Was it to him? Jin hadn't noticed because he was procrastinating.

Jin had his doubts... and those qualms were compelling his heart to go crazy with its pumping.

"Just a peek... wouldn't hurt..."

Jin hoisted his head and from the very edge of the wall, spied the Diamond Tier Hunter.

"I don't sense the Demon possessed hunter anymore... Prepare and send a satellite image of the heat signatures of system enabled users nearby this school right now"

The man said to the earpiece he had lodged on his ear.

Jin slumped back to the wall.

'A demon possessed hunter??. In this school?... Who could it be?!!... Is that why the school is so dead?. Has everyone evacuated already??'

Jin scraped his head as his query ran haywire inside his psyche. He was thinking hard to clear them all...

Maybe that was why it whacked him... The hard, melting iron rod of realization, which smacked his mind clean.

He had finally put two and two together.

"Demon Possessed Hunter..."

Jin went for a final peek outside the window which was centimeters above him.

"Is he... by any chance"
