《Hunters Royale》Hustle!!

.....
"Demon-Possessed Hunter..."
"Is he... by any chance"
*GULP*
"Looking... for me!!??"
.....
"It's highly possible... If I put two and two together, then it's just an easy fact that this Diamond Tier Hunter is out for my head... Or to declare it simply"
*Step*
"He's here for This Demon Lord's head... or whatever that's inside me"
Jin stood up, slowly inching towards the window which was polar to where he was standing. The window, which he was trying to sneak off to, was directed to the school's backyard, and the electrical fence, which if cleared, will directly lead to the mountain trail.
But what stood like a wall before him was the possibility of him escaping before getting caught by the Diamond Tier Hunter.
What he planned on doing was to escape through the window and run towards the mountain peak.
If what his intuition said was correct, then the Demon Lord who predicted this would happen and warned him about it would've wanted him to rush towards the Awakening Centre on top.
Half of his intellect doubted it. Why would the demon lord want him to awaken an HEQ as soon as possible?. The matter which he forgot to tell the demon between this mess was that the Awakening if done manually, increased the risk of failing and activating a lesser favorable class.
But the other half seemed to counter his questions. Of course, The Demon Lord wouldn't utter nonsense and tell him to jump the gun right away. The Demon Lord could not achieve what he wants unless Jin helps him and Jin knew it.
There was no way The Demon Lord wanted him to perish yet.
But why'd the Demon Lord go silent at a time like this?.
OHH.
A sudden but dubious guess went across his mind. The Demon Lord, if his guess was valid, then was making an effort to remain silent so that he didn't give up his position.

Thinking back to what the hunter had said before then his guess might prevail to be a legitimate one.
If he remembered it correctly, then, the hunter had said...
×× "I don't sense the Demon possessed hunter anymore... Prepare and send a satellite image of the heat signatures of system enabled users nearby this school right now" ××
"YES!!. That's exactly what he said!!"
Jin's exclaim was quelled by his own hands.
His culmination made sense.
The Hunter sensed him before because The Demon Lord was talking to him, which eventually made the demon's presence visible for the tracking satellites... But somehow the entity inside him had figured that out and had suppressed its presence.
It was an absolute 1000 IQ move by the Genius Demon Lord.
Which meant... He only had one choice. Jin wasn't sure what would happen to him if he got caught by the hunter, but if he does succeed in escaping, then he could pretty much figure the rest later.
What mattered now was to escape... To escape from the hunter... in one piece.
What mattered now was to face the present.
Jin didn't know, but he had reached the window of his desire while he was cooking his thoughts up in his psyche.
He released a huge yet stifled sigh of relief as he turned back to watch the hunter walk away from him.
"I'll be safe if I reach the mountain... huff"
Jin mumbled as he slowly slid open the glass window.
He, with the utmost care, managed to get his legs to the other side. What he now had to do was slowly shuffle his way through the yard and jump the electric fence, which was now just a normal barrier of Iron, thanks to the hunter destroying the power supply and the generator.
Still, it made him wonder when the others and evacuated. All he did was go to the toilet with his dumb friends.

Maybe Toby and Jonathan might've also evacuated. It pissed Jin off that no one came back for him. Did his friends only care for him that much?.
No!. He thought. There was no way Toby and Joe would leave him behind. He knew him very well. Doubting them was his fault in the first place.
Maybe they did try to send rescue. Maybe they got caught in the sudden evacuation to the extent that they couldn't deliver the news of Jin still being Inside.
But it didn't matter to him anyway... at least for now, he was unhurt.
Jin shook his head and jumped from the sill. It was just a meter drop to the floor, after all, he jumped from the classroom which was on the ground floor.
"I'll be safe..."
Jin repeated as he pulled his body out of the window.
He now sat on the window sill. Jin thought of jumping after confirming his left and right. Luckily, for him, there was no one.
He heaved his body forward and jumped.
"I'll be sa..."
×× "I don't sense the Demon possessed hunter anymore..." ××
....
×× "SENSE THE DEMON POSSESSED HUNTER ANYMORE" ××
....
×× "Prepare and send a satellite image of the heat signatures of system enabled users nearby this school right now" ××
....
×× "PREPARE AND SEND A SATELLITE IMAGE OF THE HEAT SIGNATURES OF SYSTEM ENABLED USERS" ××
....
×× "NEARBY THIS SCHOOL" ××
....
"SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!"
Jin didn't wait to confirm the rumbling behind him as he jumped.
Jin had just realized how fucked up he will be if he didn't run at this very instant.
He took off towards the fence without catching a glance behind.
He ran...
He ran with everything he had...
Because...
He was sure...
He was sure that the hunter...
The hunter had found him.
.....
The 30 meter high fence was nothing as Jin leaped across it... He landed on the mountain trail on the other side, but his leg muscles soon caught a sudden cramp.
"My leg..."
Jin grabbed his left leg as he screamed.
"AAARGHH... THE PAIN!!. IT'S KILLING ME"
Jin shrieked as he tried to rub down the cramp with his hands while he tried to hop on his other leg on the trail.
*BANG*
*BOOM*
The school wall along with the building behind him and across the fence exploded open. Humongous pieces of ceramic and cement flew above his head.
And between the destruction stood Theo... his blue eyes staring at him in rage.
Jin tore his face from staring at the hunter and yanked open his shirt as his muscle cramp on his leg vanished, he was good to go again.
He draped his face and head with his torn uniform shirt but left a small slit for him to see through as he ran towards the mountain peak.
He was sure that that hunter hadn't grasped the details of his face yet.
"I can't let him see me... My identity is the first thing I should hide"
.....
It was just like he guessed a minute ago...
You might be wondering. How Jin guessed he was found. And how he jumped past a 30 meter fence.
It's simple.
It was at that moment when he jumped through the window that Jin realized...
That the 'Joule Breakers' won't work on him anymore...
And...
His heat signatures would be disseminated in the satellites reports.
Why?...
He actually had forgotten to deactivate his system.
And...
For the past 15 minutes...
He has been... 'LEVEL 45'.
