《Tann Angle's Formula》Installing

“Knock knock,” a dark-haired girl entered the Builder’s Club via door-less entrance, “hello? Is anyone in?”
It was Rosy.
Rosy was surprised to find the Chair of the club cramped motionlessly in a chair in front of his workbench. She tried to get his attention by slapping his top hat lightly, “Hey, what’s wrong, the mechanical engineer who cannot program? When are you gonna fix that door that you blew apart with your accelerator?”
Loci raised his hand and the robotic hand on the table responded by copying his movements.
Rosy raised an eyebrow, “Huh?”
Loci moved his fingers around fiercely but the metal hand was able to perfectly emulate his fingers’ positions.
“Wait,” Rosy grabbed a chair and sat down beside Loci, “don’t tell me you learnt to programme in a night…”
It didn’t take long before Rosy figured out what happened, “Oh wait, is it a new kid? Where is her program?”
Loci didn’t answer, instead, he pointed at his laptop at the far end of the workbench. Rosy slid her chair towards the laptop and studied the screen.
“Hang on…” something interesting caused Rosy to pull the screen closer to her face, “Who put that symbol there? Is that even an official symbol?”
“Don’t ask me!” Loci suddenly exploded, “I am not a programmer! You should understand it! She just typed a few spells on that…machine…and somehow it worked!”
“What is her name?” Rosy pressed on.
Loci opened his mouth as if he knew what to say, but after a second he let out a sigh, “Sorry, she didn’t tell me.”
“Is she coming back?” Rosy selected all the programs and pressed ‘copy’, then quickly, with Loci’s mailing account, she sent all the program to herself’s address, “What does she look like?”

Loci continued to play with his robotic hand and seemed to lose attention to Rosy’s question, “I don’t remember, she had golden hair, and she is like a tree…”
“Everyone is a tree compared to you, “ Rosy snapped and closed Loci’s laptop, “I hope she’ll come back.”
She grabbed the robotic hand and tried it. Her eyes were sparkling with the joy of excitement, “I really want to meet her. By the way, when is the official open day?”
Loci looked down at his workbench, where a tiny calendar was attached to the table with superglue, “This week is all about meeting with new members, I’ll say next Thursday should be the date.”
“Good,” Rosy hopped off her chair and began to exit the room.
“Oh wait!” Loci shouted, “The tip of her hair is blue!”
“Blue…” Rosy muttered to herself.

“Are you ready to begin the first test?” Phurder asked over the radio.
“Anytime,” Tann looked up to the night sky. The moon was bright as ever, or rather, the intensity function is a little bit high. It reminded her of the times when they needed to spend weeks creating new planets in the ‘Solar System’, making them unique yet realistic. The Sun, the most annoying one, took them the longest. The gravity constant of the Sun had been changed multiple times enable for ‘Earth’ to be in the ‘right zone’. Tann remembered the time when the community actually asked for a ‘Solar System’ consisting of only ‘Earth’ to save budget.

That will never work. If ‘Earth’ is the only one in the ‘Solar System’, it will take much longer for the bots to overcome the restriction of the ‘Religious Functions’. It took Tann a long time to persuade the higher-ups of this potential danger. Indeed, Artificial Psychology is not something that can be easily appreciated.
Artificial Psychology: A new branch of Psychology that is specific to the application in simulations. It is a study to express all the potential mental states via programmatic functions. Project Earth is possibly the first major use of Artificial Psychology where billions of bots are distributed with unique personalities that are generated from a random set of psychological constants.
Tann was standing atop of her ‘log in’ house. The sky was crystal clear (she removed the cloud cover for better visual), all the ‘stars’ (light-emitting bright spots) puzzled across the night sky. Suddenly she noticed a weird pattern among the stars.
It was a certain reproductive organ.
“Whoever did that…” she did not finish her sentence.
“Tann?” Cotanian’s voice appeared, “ All is ready Dr Angle, you may enter the change.”
Tann looked down at the keyboard in her hands. Then, without hesitation, she started to blast out functions with her insane type speed. After sprinting across the keyboard for a solid five minutes, she laid back on the roof. She waited patiently for the change to happen. In a matter of seconds, the stars started to drift towards an invisible horizontal axis across the sky, forming a fine bright line.
“Let’s see their reactions tomorrow,” Cotanian laughed, “nicely done, Dr Angle.”
Tann smiled slightly, and she closed her eyes as the smooth wind blew across her face.

Contact First
2039 - Earth A narrow beam energy signal appeared aimed squarely at earth from the TRAPPIST system. The communication consisted of a layered set of repeating data over several thousand wavelengths. Over the next few months scientists discovered that the lower wavelengths carried an encoded numerical language which could then be used to interpret the more complicated messages carried on the higher wavelengths. After half a year of painstaking work the signal was fully decoded. It described a small satellite launched along a precise trajectory towards the fourth planet of our solar system. Included was a package of advanced research that humanity would need to have ready in order to receive the satellite and decelerate it safely. The alien data provided the kick that humanity needed to turn from petty squabbling and unite to explore the final frontier. Major government and corporate leaders worked together to create the framework for the United Federation of Sol. UFS spaceports went from scaffolding to daily launches in every major city around the globe. Ships floated like dandelion seeds, spreading on solar wind to grow into colonies. 2397 - Mars orbit, Egeria Station The command center was a hive of activity as checks were conducted and systems initialized. Scientists flitted by like mayflies as communicators beeped and holoscreens spat out green tinted readouts. Nervous energy was thick in the air as everyone anticipated the culmination of over three hundred years of work. Massive fusion reactors under the planet's surface thrummed with barely restrained power as energy fed into a gleaming metallic maze criss crossing the planet. Metal fingers reached up, overshadowing the mighty olympus mons and trying to grab the stars. All over the solar system, people quickly turned to look as gigantic energy lances shot from the dusty fourth planet. Two years later. The same people that clapped loudly at the successful activation of project Hermes now wait with baited breath. A silver capsule trailing bright photonic sails is captured by a net of grav beams and guided with care bordering on reverence into the station. Holoscreens across the headquarters project an image of the sleek craft settling in the bay. Data connections are established and the holoscreens blink to white. Slowly an image forms on the screen. Across the headquarters people stare in wonder as a wholly alien face stares back. "Contact established. Welcome to the universe."

Wrong Side of The Severance
In the waning times of a costly war that spanned several firmaments, one world that was supposed to be cherished by the gods was cast to the wayside, and from everyone’s minds. This world - Berodyl - had flourished under the tender love of the gods for millennia… but no longer. Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves. Now there is but one question weighing down on everyone: can a world such as this - a world once loved, now alone - survive with nought but its own? For an outlander such as Livia, the question seems nearly impossible to answer. The first book of The World The Gods Forgot.

Winter Sovereign
Serra Recquir, a boy born in the world of Sierra, was born with weak and with mediocre talent. Despite the odds, he pursued the path of cultivation. He faced numerous trials, deadly foes and great friends. Eventually, he stepped into the world of the Divine Realm. Breaking past the limits of the world and traveling to higher planes. After millions of years, he finally reached the summit. Becoming a Sovereign Paragon. Longing for the world he left countless years ago, he finally returns to his own world. Author's Note: This story is different from other wuxia novels. If those novels focus on characters that struggle from the bottom and reach the top, this story is one where someone already reached the top. I figured it would be interesting to start a novel from this concept so I started it. Well, however this plays through, just like how I finished my previous novel, Doll's Smile, I'll finish this novel too. Of course, I'm writing this novel just for fun. I like to write lighthearted novels like this. Novels that I would read while listening to music and eating snacks on a pleasant and relaxing afternoon. Do forgive me if I'm slow in writing.
