New Perspective

A very deep lake,

A waterfall pouring out of the woods,

Rainbow skinned fish,

Smooth and slimy,

A giant snapping turtle with algae growing all over,

It is a dinosaur from another time.

Green birds with blue heads,

Red under wings,

Swoop and squawk,

Insects glide on the water,

Fly and land on my skin,

Take a bite, then go.

An ox can be heard,

Lumbering through the woods,

Knocking down trees,

Munching at something,

High overhead,

An eagle provides a new perspective.
