Yamato walks into his house and looks around. Nobody was in the living room. He goes to the bed room to find Junko spread out over the bed. Her skin even more pale than before and she was drooling at the mouth. Yamato notices that there is a needle in her arm and burnt spoon by her body. Yamato removes the needle and tosses it to the side. He tucks Junko in and goes to the bathroom.
“Those fucking pieces of shit. I can’t believe I got beat by a bunch of weaklings and what’s they took the money Junk and I need for the month.”
Yamato looks back at his wife.
“Sorry babe, looks like I’m working overtime.”

“Yama-kun, you home?”
“Good morning sleepy head.”
“Where were you last night, I got worried.”
“My match went a little longer than usual.”
“Did you win?”
“Always babe.”
“Yay, that means we’re good for the month right?”
“… Yeah…”
Junko gives Yamato a huge embrace. Yamato hunches over in pain making Junko back away quickly and looked at him with tear filled eyes. Yamato straightens up and gives her a wiry smile.
“I’m fine really, just caught a sore spot is all.”
“Yama-kun.”
Junko gives Yamato a passionate kiss. Tears rolled down her cheek. Yamato wipes them from her face.
“You don’t have to go back tonight right? We can spend time together today?”
“Um yeah about that…”
“Yamato?”
“I’m going to go tonight too…”
Junko began to cry uncontrollably.
“Why, you’re so beaten up, and you shouldn’t have to go if we have the money right?”
“There’s a big fight tonight, supposed to be a lot of rich guys there placing bets. If I win this we can move out of this neighborhood and we can even get you clean. Don’t you want to be healthy?”

Junko looks out the window at the city. She tries to calm, her shaking body from the already forming withdraws.
“I do, but it’s just that… if it means your life is always on the line…”
“Junko babe, I would easily trade my life for yours.”
“I know and that’s what scares me… Go, go win for use so that we will never have to go through another night like this.”
Yamato gives Junko a kiss and prepares for tonight.

With the thousands of mischievous, powerful gadgets inside the 4D pocket, Cary will take on this new world by storm! Something ridiculous I will write purely for fun alongside my main story Giantslayer As a disclaimer, I may nerf some of the most broken gadgets or even not use them at all. Doraemon was insane for a children manga (e.g. Doraemon canonically has a nuclear bomb inside his 4D pocket), some of the gadgets have the potential to end this story in one chapter. The most important factor is fun so anything that completely breaks the story might not be mentioned at all (or we will pretend they do not exist in the 4D pocket). We may find uses for those broken gadgets in the future, though. I am not particularly good at writing comedy. There will of course be funny moments (at least I hope they are funny) but everyone in this story will actually behave in a realistic(?) and serious manner. I want the serious world to contrast with some of the wacky gadgets that are available.
