Suddenly, a small ball of light appeared above a corpse. After a while, it entered the body in the middle of the corpse's eyebrows.

No one noticed the ball of light nor the corpse since it was in a secluded place near the trash area.

A small groaning sound could be heard in the mouth of the body. After a while, the body shivered and started to stand up.

Luckily no one saw the phenomenon of a body being revived. If it was, a big commotion will take place on the whole continent. It was impossible to revive a dead body if you not, at least, have a level of above 200 and have a hidden job called "Reanimar Sacedorte" which only 1 out of billion people have. From this, you can hardly imagine what will happen if this was discovered.

Kite abruptly stood up and after a second an intense pain flooded his mind. He actually coughed up blood and fainted.

It was night time when Kite woke up for the second time. He didn't immediately stand up because the pain earlier caused terror to bloom in his heart. The pain was imaginable and it was the first time he felt like this.

After waking up, the pain still lingered his head. He turned his head sideways and discovered that he was laying in a pool of blood.

He noticed a red blinking dot in the sky after focusing it for just a second a flood of information appeared in his mind.

The warning lasted for a minute before it slowed down.

What? HP critically low? What's happening. Kite can't still describe what in the world was occurring right now.

He was about to fall asleep in his bed when his eyes started blacking out and after opening it again he found himself so tired and lifeless. Even his bed was no longer comfortable.

When he tried stood up to check what was happening, an intense pain that was undescribable flowed in his mind and he fell unconscious again. And then when he woke up he received a ton of messages in his mind. It sounded like someone was talking in front of him but there was no one.

"God, it hurts so much!" he shouted in a hoarse voice.

Kite wanted to fell asleep again when the message appeared once more in his mind but this time a piece of additional information was added.

System advises to take a health potion or go to the nearest life fountain!

Death is near!? Kite can't believe what he heard just now. Health potion? Life fountain? What the hell is that? Do you think this is a fucking game!? He cursed the voice in his head. But before he can vent his anger, the pain in his mind intensified. Another message was heard once more.

This life fountain was basically useless; only people at Level 1 to Level 3 can use it. But Kite doesn't know of this not even a simple knowledge in this world.

Kite then had an abrupt epiphany. Unknown voice? An almost dead body? Health potion? Life fountain?

After a while, he decided to drink it because it hurts so much to move around.

After drinking it a new message appeared in his head and this time a new screen in front of him generated out of nowhere.

Kite was amazed because he didn't feel anything at all while drinking. Normally he can taste the water and at least feel it flow through his throat. But whenever he drinks this fountain water he tasted nothing at all. Heck, he didn't even feel the water flowing through his throat. He also didn't feel full after drinking a lot of fountain water.

He continued drinking until another message appears.

Kite finally stop drinking and stood up. He was astonished to discover that he didn't feel anything at all. His wounds earlier were gone but his clothes were drenched in sweat and blood. His whole body was full of dirt and he smells like shit, literally.

Kite can't help but frown after checking his own body. He sighed and look in the screen in front of him. This screen contained the message earlier but this time a new set of information appeared on it.

He knew that in games with indestructible status in it was either an amazing item or a quest item. But after thinking for a while what this ring really was he decided to disregard it for a while

"It's really like a game...", Kite can't help but comment when he looked again on the screen. The screen showed his status in real-time. There were virtual reality games in his own world but it was not this realistic. Although this was another real-world itself.

Kite remembered what he read in novels with the same scenario as his. Normally he will obtain this body's memories. But when he contemplated hard for a minute, he can't found anything at all. Kite decided after learning about his situation, that in order to go back in his own world he must first grow stronger. He knew from the start that when leveling up maybe a normal occurrence in this world, then strength can answer all questions he has.

Even though he liked this world because one of his fantasies was living in this kind of scenario, he still has his family and friends waiting for him in his world. What will his mom and dad do after learning he was gone? What about his siblings? What about his friends? And lastly, what will his lover do when she learned she was gone? All people in this world can level up. Only people at the age of 15 can begin their journey on leveling up. They began at level zero and start climbing up. The more you level up, the harder it was to continue growing stronger.

He obtained a basic knowledge of this world in the first memory fragment. He continued sacrificing ExP until the second fragment surfaced.

His name was Kite just like his own name in his world. He was an orphan. He didn't remember how he was abandoned but he was sure that at the age of 4 his mother and father left him. Somehow he can't remember their faces nor their names since he was still a child. All that they left to him was an ordinary ring with a symbol of '∞' in it. Then Kite was taken by an old man until the age of 8 and after that, the old man disappeared out of nowhere. For unknown reasons he didn't even know what the old man's name was. He only called the old man 'grandpa'. He was still a kid back then so he thought that grandpa was his name.

The second fragment he obtained is about his own origin. Luckily this memory fragment was useful. He thought he will obtain trashy memories like how he first know how to ride a bike or something.

He sacrificed his last remaining ExP and the last memory surfaced in his mind for the last time.

His old self was walking in a dark alleyway to search for food in the trash section when he was attacked. The attacker killed him using a short sword and struck his back. He died after that. But luckily he caught a glimpse of the man before his death. It was an ugly man with disheveled hair. He has a square face and hos eyes were bloodshot. This was the man that killed this body he currently has.

Kite was saddened after sorting out this memory fragment. Why did the man kill him? Of course, it was for ExP. Although they kill monsters for ExP you can also earn the same by killing your own kind. Killing was strictly prohibited in the city but since he has no family and living in the slums he was a perfect target. He was only a 16-year-old boy and although he lived by himself in the slums he can't detect nor fight the man because of his low level.

"I must grow stronger!", Kite then left this area and headed to the forest. He must grow powerful. Game starts now!
