Corey's Smithy and Appraisal shop, The Town of Merca, The Outskirts of Vaillance
The chime of the welcome bell rang through the store as two tall figures entered. Nord and Drake swiped their feet on the mat and started towards the counter
The store owner, Corey Penrith was every bit a stereotypical Blacksmith. His bulging arms and Imposing physique gave off the aura of a professional
"Nord, I have the goods ready to go"
Corey's impossibly deep voice rumbled, Startling Drake
"Please let me see them" Nord leaned over the counter as Corey brought out an ornamental Harness and a glistening White Greatsword. The blade alone was 2 meters long, It was adorned with a leather wrapped ricasso and wide crescent Parrying hooks.
Nord nodded in contentment
"Kid, These are for you"
For the second time in two days, Drake was starstruck
"What do you mean this is for me!? This can easily pass as one of your heirloom blades!"
Drake almost shrieked
"Calm down kid, You're gonna be attending mage academy soon. you're gonna need a weapon that will withstand a beating."
Drake took a deep breath and calmed down, He regained his sound thinking.
"Sure you're right but why such a nice sword?"
Drake insisted
"Higher Quality swords last longer, and besides, I think you're gonna need this especially considering your unique interactions with Mana"
"What's the Harness for?"
Drake left the sword subject aside
"That's a Dimensional Cache Harness"
This time Drake fought the urge to turn heel and walk out of the shop
"What kind of favours have you called in to get this stuff!?"
Drake asked, Dubiously
"let's just say it involved more than a few Wyrm and a fuck-up by a resident landlord"
Nord once again, Gave an ambiguous answer

Drake decided to drop the subject
"does General Carrigan make these on demand?"
Drake asked, Picking up the harness
"Why do you ask if it's him? he's not the only Space magician you know."
Drake's face betrayed his surprise
"So there's a space magician other than General Exhall Carrigan? are they in the corps too?"
Nord replied in the negative
"No, in fact, they run a small business making cache items, such as rings, purses, bags, bracelets, you name it. Although they're very expensive it's also convenient to have on you"
"So there are powerful mages who do not fight?"
Drake asked again
"Do you know the 'Battlefield Archangel'?"
Nord answered with his own question
"Yea, General Serena the spirit Commandant"
Drake's reply was almost instant
"What does she do?"
"She is the head of all medical endeavours in the empire and the leader of the rescue team known as 'Evaser' ..."
"You just answered your own question there Drake my boy. She's a powerful mage who does not engage in combat. Rather she's the Commandant of magic that specialises in saving lives"
"Ah I think I understand now, So after you awaken you don't necessarily have to become a battlemage do you?"
Drake continued
"no, that's completely up to you what you use your Anthem powers for"
Nord readily answered all questions Drake had for him
"now then, you wanna go on a little expedition to test out your new gear? I've got another job from the guild, Hounds from the East wood have been terrorising a lord's livestock lately, We're to hunt them down."
Nord asked, his eyes sparkling with anticipation
"Hell yes I do"
Drake returned his enthusiasm
"see you around Corey, I'll be back soon!"
and with that the duo left the shop to prepare for their 'Expedition'

Ortus
A woman wakes up in a forest, naked, alone, and injured. She has nothing but a strange, black dagger and mysterious, floating, blue boxes to aid her. Can she find food and water? Survive the deadly animals? Escape the forest? Learn about the life-altering magic the boxes provide her? She has to use her wits, her knowledge, and maths to do so. But first, baby steps. She doesn't even understand the language, yet. If you see any maths mistakes or strange story decisions, leave a comment and I will either fix it or consider changing it. This is also, essentially, a first draft. That means I will edit older chapters and nothing is final, including numbers. Any major changes are listed in the changelog below each chapter. Since this is a first draft, the start is noticably bad and inconsistent compared to the more recent chapters so you will have to endure that to get to the good stuff. The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.

Fire and Shadows. Legend of the breaker. (Hiatus until ??)
Traditions lost, books burned, ancient knowledge forever spurned. It began with fire, the great Sirionean, all dominating desert creating pyre. And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
