Soft, brown curls,

cascade down her back.

Falling down,

down,

down,

like a smooth chocolatey waterfall.

In the sunlight,

it glows.

In the moonlight,

it shines.

Illuminated by the rays of the darkening night,

her hair is like a halo

in the fading rays of light.

Each strand soft and supple.

I love it's velvety feel,

when she lays on my chest.

It cascades down my side,

blanketing my bare skin,

and ensuring my warmth for the night.

When I comb my fingers through it,

they glide smoothly,

not caught on a single tangle.

The velvety strands leave a satiny feeling on my fingertips,

and they long for more.

Luckily for me,

she'll be mine for the rest of eternity.
