《Whirl》chapter 22

The smell and feel of the beach was the least of their worries. August and Josie couldn't get into their bedroom fast enough, not when August stopped every few feet to kiss her, raw and hard.
Josie was gently pushed back onto the bed, August's lips still connected to hers, his hands running a heated path on her stomach.
"I love you," he said sincerely. "We don't have to keep going."
"I'd be mad if you stopped now," Josie giggled, allowing him to pull off her bathing suit top.
"You're absolutely breathtaking, baby," he murmured, his gaze fiery and intense, his hands skimming dangerously close to her chest. He was teasing her.
"August," she whined, wanting him to touch her.
He grinned his signature dark smirk, before his hands were where she wanted them the most. His thumbs brushed her nipples and Josie moaned, pulling him down for another kiss.
It was a tangle of limbs after that. Her bottoms came off and his trunks got thrown across the room.
---
Josie was curled on August's chest, blissed out and exhausted. He pushed her sweaty hair out of her face.
"You're amazing, you know that?" he whispered, chest still rising and falling quickly.
"Not as amazing as you. I don't know how I got so lucky," she murmured. "I love you."
He leaned down to kiss her head, rubbing her bare back. He had never felt like he did in this moment. He had sex before, but it was an entirely different experience with Josie. It felt different, more special knowing he was absolutely loved.
"We should probably shower and change the sheets," Josie said. Even though she was tired and definitely sore, she could get over the feeling of sunscreen, sweat, and sand that covered their bodies.

August sighed dramatically, "At least we can shower together."
They cleaned up and promptly fell asleep in the bed.
Josie woke up to August kissing her. "You're insatiable. This is the second time you've woken me up," she huffed with a smile.
"I can't help it. You're addicting, and I hate the fact that I will have to leave for another meeting tomorrow," August pressed his lips to her jaw.
"Good. Maybe I'll actually be able to leave the room," she teased.
August let out a playful growl, rolling on top of her, "Not a chance."
"You're crushing me," Josie giggled, squirming under his weight.
"If you keep moving like that I really won't let you leave," he smirked. "You know, I've always wanted to fuck on the beach. We could move this outside."
"August!" Josie threw her head back with a laugh, unable to control the blush at his words. She seemed to have unlocked a whole other part of her man.
Her stomach growled and August chuckled, unable to resist giving her another kiss.
He decided to finally let her up, only for food. He was quite hungry himself. He was planning on taking Josie out to a nice restaurant, but they both were not in the mood to leave their own little paradise.
He hated that Josie was so sore. He situated her in a plush pool chair as he got the grill ready, the sun disappearing over the horizon. This could not have been a more perfect day.
"Are you sure I can't help you?" Josie asked, watching him flip chicken that smelt like heaven. She didn't realize how hungry she was until they finally left the bedroom.
"No, baby. I just want to make sure you have a good meal. I'm glad we had bought a few groceries ahead of time."
"I love you," Josie said once more. She couldn't get enough of him, like the way he looked with the setting sun casting a gorgeous glow on his already perfect body or the endearing way that he cared and thought about every little thing she did.
"All my heart, Jo," he said.

Memoirs of A Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton
A loving spouse. A healer. How does this person cope with evil villains willing to destroy everything? They convicted the victim... now how does the victim goes on with life as a healer? As the book opens, I was in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt in December 2019. What starts as a simple conversation with another patient changed my life. Most of the rest of the book tells the reader how I got to this point. I experienced profound injustice between 2004 and 2006. By opening with a story about suicide, I want the reader to understand that the injustice was not just something that happened long ago. This book is an account of all the accomplishments and successes that I had in overcoming tremendous odds and challenges. Growing up, I was paralyzed by shyness and lacked social skills, and so the idea of becoming a psychotherapist never occurred to me when I went off to college. I learned that I could overcome those limitations. I wanted to bring that hope and healing to others. Activities like that make life meaningful and bring me joy. The reasons why I was suicidal in 2019 were set in motion in 2000 when a meteor would come crashing down upon the life that I had built leaving me powerless to do anything other than watching everything burn to ashes - the home that I had, the life I had known, the love I had, my career, everything would disappear almost as if it never existed. In that one the year 2000, I could not imagine things could get any worse. But the nightmare would continue for the next few years... culminating in a suicide attempt in 2019. Now, I am connecting with others, building relationships, and finding a reason to live again. I am writing my own story of my life. I will fight against the injustice of the past and offer my gifts to the world. I have so much to offer. I have quite a story to tell. I hope you will help me to move on with my life.
