Alex was absolutely miserable. The babies were due yesterday. She could not walk on her own, couldn't take a bath, could barely sit up to eat and she was bored. Trevor was out everyday early and came back after dinner exhausted. He is consumed with building the walls. When the King left he allowed Edward and Matthew to remain. They were the only people she saw besides John and the maids. Everyone that was physically able were working on the walls.

"Edward...Matthew!" They came running in the room.

"Luna are you okay? Are you in labor?" The look on their faces was priceless. Alex busted out laughing. They scowled at her. "What's so funny?"

"You two! If you could of seen your faces. I just want you to help me to the couch, I want to watch TV."

They mumbled as they helped her to the couch. "Do you need anything else Luna?"

"Just hand me the remote and I'll be fine."

"If you would please Luna, don't yell unless you are in danger or pain. Remember we have wolf hearing. Just call for us." Edward looked at her sternly.

Alex giggled. "Sorry. I forget about that sometimes." They left to go stand guard.

Adolfo could you send me ice cream, pretezels, pineapple chunks and bacon.

What flavor ice cream?

Hmm...rocky road.

Alex sat back scanning the channels for something to watch while she waited for her treat. She gasp as she felt a sharp pain in her lower back. "Matthew." The guard walked in. hmm guess they can hear me.

"How can I help you Luna?"

"My back is hurting. Can you get me a pillow?" Matthew went to the bed and got a pillow, helping her place it behind her back. "Oh yeah. That is so much better. Thank you." He bowed and walked to the door as the maid arrived.

Alex's eyes lit up at the sight of her food. "I'm going to need your help."

"My pleasure Luna."

"First I need you to put three scoop of ice cream in the bowl, then add some pineapple and crumbled bacon on top." The maid looked shocked but did as instructed and prepared it for her. "Please put the pretzels beside me." Alex took the bowl and mixed everything together, then took a pretzel and scooped some up and put it in her mouth. The maid looked horrified as Alex moaned.

"Will there be anything else Luna?"

"Nope. I'm good." The maid bowed and went out.

Just as she was half way through her treat, there was a sharp pain that went from her back around her stomach. Alex dropped the bowl and it went everywhere. Then she felt a warm gush of water. "Oh my god. MATTHEW! EDWARD!" They ran in the room. "Call the doctor and Trevor. My water just broke."

Trevor was exhausted. He wanted the walls completed in 3 months. That would mean they had to do a little over a mile and half each month. At there current pace it would take 4 months. He was frustrated because everyone was working as hard as they could. Trevor didn't want to try and push them harder. To add to the frustration the pups could come at anytime and he would have to leave to be with Alex.

Trevor's phone rang. "What now!" He growled as he answered. "This better be good! I'm very busy!"

"Is that anyway to greet your King?" Xavier chuckled.

"Your Majesty I'm so sorry. I've got a lot on my plate right now."

"So I heard."

"What? Who told you?"

"Edward. It seems your Luna is angry that you are working yourself into exhaustion and not spending anytime with her."

"I have to get this wall done." Trevor sighed.

"I know my friend. That is why there are 100 workers on their way to you right now. Consider it a present for the new pups."

"Are you serious? That is fantastic! We can have it up twice as fast! I will always be indebted to you."

"That is good to know. You never know what I may need in the future." Xavier laughed. "Now, go home to your mate and take care of her."

"Thank you so much." They hung up. Someone had been trying to barge into his mind, while he was talking to the King. He opened his mind and was flooded with calls from Edward, Matthew and John. The one that stood out clear was 'water broke'.

Trevor shifted and took off for the house. Christian have some clothes ready for me at the door!

Yes Alpha!

Edward carried her to the infirmary. Then everything happened in a blur. The nurse changed her into a gown. They put her on an IV and hooked up the monitors for the labor. They set up three little beds with lights on top and a table with a scale and medical supplies. "Where's Trevor?!"

The nurse patted her hand. "Don't worry, the Alpha is on his way."

John came in the room dressed in scrubs. He walked over and looked at the screen on the monitor. "The pups are doing fine and your contractions are about ten minutes apart. I'm going to check your dilation." He pulled on some gloves and walked to the end of the bed. "I want you to relax your legs over to the side." Alex was so embarrassed when he pulled up the sheet and exposed her. When he inserted his fingers she was mortified. "Jillian could you get me some pads?" The nurse nodded and walked out of the room. "The twins sac was the one that ruptured. I'm going to have to break the other one so you don't have a prolonged separate labor."

"Ok." Trevor came running in the room and when he saw her exposed, he let out a ground shaking growl and his eyes turned black.

"What are you doing to my mate!" He was breathing heavily.

"Trevor calm down! How do you think the babies are coming out?!" Alex yelled just as another contraction hit her. "Awwww!" Trevor ran to her side.

"Luna breath in and out slowly, deep breaths." John coached.The nurse came back in and they broke the other sac. It seemed the pained ramped up as soon as he did. "Luna you are 3 centimeters. So you have a little while to go. Would you like something for the pain?"

"Oh my god yes!" He walked to a tray and got a syringe and injected her. She started filling with warmth and smiled. "Ahhh...this won't be so bad." The nurse snickered.

For five hours Trevor had stood by her side as Alex screamed and yelled, cursing his family jewels. Squeezing his hand until he was sure it would be crushed. John came in every few minutes to check her progress. "Okay Luna you are fully dilated, time to push."

Three nurses came in and waited by the doctor. "On your next contraction I want you to push as hard as you can, until the contraction stops."

"Push Luna." Alex screamed with the pain.

When she fell back to the bed shaking her head. "I can't do this."

"Yes you can princess. Think of our beautiful babies."

"Ok Luna I can see the head just a couple more pushes."

Alex gave it all she had. two pushes later. She heard a cry. "It's a girl!" She broke down sobbing with joy. Ten minutes later baby number two was out. "Another girl!"

When she looked at Trevor he had tears running down his face and a huge smile! "Luna it seems your son is stubborn. I'm going to have to push on your abdomen in order to get him positioned. It will hurt a bit. Alpha are you going to be okay if she screams?"

"Yes. Max is pretty happy right now."

John pushed and pulled on her until she thought she would pass out. "Here we go. Give it all you got." Alex pushed until she thought her head would explode. Unlike his sisters it took five pushes to get him out. "Alpha this is your son and heir. Would you like to cut the cord?" With shaky hands he walked over and cut the cord.

"I love you so much princess." Trevor feathered kisses all over her face.

The nurse walked over with a little bundle in a pink blanket. "Here is baby number one. 7 lbs 1 oz. Do you have a name?" She handed the baby to Alex. "Natalie" The nurse wrote something on a paper and walked away. The second nurse came over with another pink bundle and placed her in Alex's arms. "7 lbs 2 ozs." Alex nuzzled the baby. "Nicole"

Trevor was getting anxious to see his son. Finally the nurse walked over with a blue bundle and handed him to Trevor. "8 lbs 8 ozs. He's a big boy." Trevor Beemed with pride. "Seth"

Alex and Trevor laid on their bed with the triplets between them. All three had black hair and her tan skin but they had Trevor's crystal blue eyes. She was amazed at how her life turned out. She got an inheritance, moved to a new town, bitten by a vampire, was kidnapped,turned into a wolf, mated with a wonderful man and almost killed and giving birth to the triples. If she could think of one word to describe everything it would be Unexpected.
