Brea and Bella stood in the exact spot of where the accident happened, behind them on the lawn a couple of yards away, several classes gathered up for a field trip.
"Make sure I get your permission slips!" Mr. Molina called out.
Brea stood there... thinking about what happened, and how it happened, but most importantly she was grateful that she was alive. Thanks to Edward.
"Look! You're moving. You're ALIVE!" Mike laughed. Drawing Brea out of deep thought.
"Oh! Yeah! false alarm," Brea smiled.
"Actually, I'm glad you're not dead... because-well, that would suck, plus I wanted to ask you something... even though it's like, a month away," Mike smiled.
Brea looked over Mike's shoulder... getting distracted by Edward, who was staring back at her.
"So what do you think? You want to go? To prom. With me?" Mike asked.
"Oh.....Mike, Prom? Really? With you? I, uh- have to go...somewhere. To Jacksonville," Brea sighed, clearly lying....trying her best not to sound to harsh.
Bella nodded agreeing with her.
"Y-You can't go another weekend?" Mike questioned.
"I mean I could but....I'd rather go that weekend," Brea shrugged and walked away leaving him speechless.
"You should ask Jessica!" Bella added before following Brea.
They both avoided eye contact with Edward.
"Brea! Hi!" Alice smiled, rushing up to her and Bella.
"Hey! Alice," Brea smiled.
"I'm so glad you are okay!" Alice said.
"Alright! Everyone on the bus!" Mr. Molina called out.
**************
Mr. Molina and a Tour guide lead the students through the greenhouse. Brea kept an eye on Edward who was up ahead with Alice and Jasper....... She walked alone. Bella was off with her friends.
Mr. Molina demonstrates the compost machine as the students messed around.
"Now Tyler! Take a big steaming cup of compost tea, this is recycling at its most basic level-hey! Don't drink that!" Mr. Molina said, trying to grab the compost tea away from Tyler.
Brea saw Edward paused by an ancient staghorn fern, alone, she took a breath for courage and strides up to him.
"Hello, Edward!" Brea greeted.
He glanced at her, merely nodding. She looked down at his hands and noticed he clenched them tightly.
He doesn't respond. She turned, and started to walk away. Desperately looking for her sister.
"W-What's in Jacksonville?" Edward asked, tapping lightly on her shoulder.
"W-How did you know about that?" Brea questioned.
"You didn't answer my question," Edward said.
"Y-you haven't answered any of mine. You won't even say hello," Brea sighed.

"Hello," Edward replied.
"H-How did you stop the van?" Brea asked.
"Adrenaline rush! Very common. Google it," Edward said.
"Floridians! T-that's what's in Jacksonville," Brea replied.
Brea turned to storm off but she stumbled over the irrigation hose. Edward steadied her, catching her scent which was very powerful.
"It would help if you actually watch where you put your feet!" Edward snapped.
Insulted, Brea kept moving. Edward stayed behind her, both had a serious expression.
"I know I've been rude, but it's for the best," Edward said.
Suddenly Jessica and Bella rush up towards Brea.
"Guess who just asked me to prom?!" Jessica smirked.
Brea just looked at them. Very confused.
"I totally thought Mike was going to ask you, Brea. Is it gonna be weird?" Jessica asked.
"No way! You guys are great together!" Brea said, voice full of sarcasm.
"I know, right?" Jessica smiled.
Jessica rushed off to catch up with Angela...Bella stood next to her sister, with a huge grin.
"Why would you put me through that?!" Brea groaned.
"You need friends!" Bella said.
"Nope! I like being alone!" Brea smiled.
Brea and Bella walked out of the greenhouse...walking toward the direction where the buses were.
"Brea, it would be better if we weren't friends! I also don't want you talking to my siblings," Edward said, walking up to the Swan sisters.
"Too bad you didn't figure that out earlier! You could have let the van crush me and saved yourself all of this regret," Brea snapped.
"Y-You think I regret saving you?" Edward asked, getting angry.
"You are acting like you do!" Brea growled.
"You don't know anything!" Edward snapped.
His harshness crushed her, but she doesn't let him see....Suddenly, Alice appears at Edward's side... She eyed Bella with curiosity.
"The bus is leaving! Will you guys be riding with us? Hey, Brea! Are you still hearing voices?" Alice asked.
Brea nodded....Edward gazed at her, remorse filled inside of him. Brea turned on her heels and walked away, with Bella closely behind her.
**************
Brea and Bella walk through the door of their house, throwing down their book bags and coats.
"Your mother called. Again," Charlie said.
"Your fault, for telling her about the accident," Brea smiled.
"She always did know how to worry. But- she's changed, too. She seems happy. Phil sounds all right," Charlie sighed.
"He is," Bella replied.
"I-I got to run to the station for a couple of hours," Charlie said, putting his coat on.

Both girls nodded, and walked upstairs.
Bella followed Brea into her room...
Brea walked over to her radio and turned it on. Bon Jovi Wanted Dead or Alive blasted loudly in her room.
"Join me! We are gonna dance!" Brea smiled.
Bella shook her head... and started to laugh.
"IT'S ALL THE SAME, ONLY THE NAMES WILL CHANGE! EVERY DAY IT SEEMS WE'RE WASTING AWAY!" Brea sang loudly, jumping up on her bed and playing air guitar.
"I'm adopted," Bella laughed.
"ANOTHER PLACE WHERE THE FACES ARE SO COLD. I'D DRIVE ALL NIGHT JUST TO GET BACK HOME! I'M A COWBOY, ON A STEEL HORSE I RIDE!" Brea screamed, jumping down and started dancing next to her sister.
"I'M WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE! WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE!" Bella screamed, joining in.
Both girls started dancing and laughing, enjoying one another's company... and having a good time.
****************
The next day Brea woke up in a good mood, she quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs.
"The neighbors called this morning, wondering why they heard screaming and laughter last night after I left," Charlie smiled.
"Oh well! Me and Bella were having a moment," Brea laughed.
"That's great!" Charlie said.
Brea nodded.
A few moments later Bella came downstairs, who was also in a good mood.
"Hey, Brea! Wanna ride with me?" Bella asked.
"You bet!" Brea smiled.
Both girls hurried out the door and were off to school.
Brea and Bella walk through the door of the cafeteria, Brea looked over at the Cullen table...Edward was sitting with his siblings.
"Brea! Bella! Over here!" Eric called out.
Brea looked over at Jessica, who nodded with a gentle smile....
Both girls walk over to the table, dropping their bags on the floor.
"La Push, babies, you guys in?" Eric asked.
"Should we know what that means?" Brea questioned.
"La Push beach, down on the Quileute Rez. We're all going after school. Big swell coming in," Mike smiled.
"And I don't just surf the internet!" Eric said, jumping up on his chair and started surfing.
Brea laughed.
"Eric, you stood up once. On a foam board!" Jessica said, rolling her eyes.
"There's whale watching, too. Come with!" Angela smiled.
"La Push, babies," Eric cheered.
"I'll go if you stop saying that," Bella laughed.
Everyone turned and looked at Brea... waiting for her to answer.
"I'll have to think about it," Brea sighed, and hurried off to the salad bar.
Brea artfully designed an architectural salad... she then reached for an apple.
"Edible art," Edward smirked.
Brea jumped and knocking the apple off the bar.....Edward catches it with his foot, then bounces it back into his hand. He handed it to her with a small smile.
"T-Thanks...But MY GOD your mood swings are giving me whiplash," Brea replied.
"I said it would be better if we weren't friends, not that I didn't want to be," Edward sighed.
"W-what does that even mean?" Brea asked, with a confused tone.
"It means if you were smart, you'd avoid me," Edward said.
Edward glanced over at his siblings...while Brea looked over at Bella, who was smirking.
"So let's say for argument's sake, that I'm not smart. Would you talk to me? Tell me the truth?" Brea asked.
"Probably not. I'd rather hear your theories," Edward said.
"Okay... how about radioactive spiders? Kryptonite?" Brea asked.
"You're talking about superheroes. What if I'm not a hero? What if I'm a bad guy?" Edward questioned, giving her his challenging gaze.
"No! I don't believe that. You're not bad.. You can be a total Jerk, but it's like this...mask. To keep people away," Brea paused...
Edward looked taken aback by her honesty, her insight, drawn in by her.
"Look, w-why don't we just-hang out. Like... we can go somewhere and talk, I was gonna go to the beach... but I can cancel those plans or how about you come to the beach with me! It'll be fun, I think?" Brea smiled.
"Which beach?" Edward asked, considering it.
"Um I think La Push," Brea said.
Edward's smile started to fade... slowly.
"I-is there something wrong with that beach?" Brea asked.
"I-it's just a little crowded, but you should go," Edward said.
"I don't know, I might just stay in and read a book....or watch an old movie," Brea smiled.
Edward gazed down at her, falling in love with her... very fast and very hard.
Edward laughed...reading her thoughts, seeing how excited she got over old movies. He looked over at his siblings and shrugged. Even they could see it.... See how he was going head over heels for her and she was clueless.
Edward quickly turned on his heels and walked away.
Brea shrugged and grabbed her salad and walked back over to where Bella was, and sat down.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
