"Brea, come on! It'll be fun," Bella sighed, sitting on the edge of her sister's bed.
"I-i don't know, I can't stand Mike or Jessica," Brea said.
"What about Angela? Or Eric?" Bella asked.
"Angela is sweet! Eric, is nice but crazy," Brea laughed.
"Then it's settled! Dress up warm," Bella smiled.
"I-I was gonna watch an old movie," Brea sighed, laying back on her bed.
"W-well do it tonight!" Bella replied.
"Fine!" Brea said, quickly giving in.
She sat up on the bed, and climbed off.... Walking to her dresser, grabbing some sweats. Rushing to the bathroom and threw them on. She walked out, and Bella handed her a black beanie. They both rushed downstairs, grabbing their heavy jackets....and walked outside, Tyler's van pulled up and they climbed in.
Brea climbed out of the van... she smiled when the cold air hit her face.
"I keep thinking Eric's going to ask me to prom, then he just-doesn't," Angela sighed.
"Oh honey, you should ask him! Take control. You're a strong independent woman!" Brea said.
"I am!?" Angela asked.
Brea and Bella nodded.
"Brea! Bella!" A familiar voice called out.
Both girls look and see Jacob and two other guys walk up to them.
"Guys, this is Jacob! Are you stalking us?" Bella asked, blushing.
"Hey, you guys are on my rez, remember? You both surfing?" Jacob questioned.
"Definitely not!" Bella said.
Brea just shook her head.
"Keep Brea company. Her date bailed," Jessica laughed.
"It wasn't a date, I was just being nice," Brea sighed.
"What date?" Eric asked.
"She invited Edward," Jessica said.
"I think it's nice! No one ever does," Angela smiled.
"Because Cullen is a freak!" Mike laughed.

Brea sent Mike a glare....one that could kill.
"You got that right!" One of Jacob's friends said.
"You know them? The Cullen's?" Brea asked.
"The Cullen's don't come here," Jacob's other friend replied.
Jacob shoots them a look, and shakes his head...Brea registered this.
"So, what did your friend mean about the Cullens don't come here?" Brea asked, walking next to Bella and Jacob.
"Caught that, huh?" Jacob questioned.
Jacob leaned in closer to Brea, lowering his voice.
"I'm not supposed to say anything," Jacob said.
"We can keep a secret!" Bella replied.
"It's just an old scary story! Did you know the Quileute's are supposedly descended from wolves?" Jacob asked.
"Like fur? Fangs? Doggy breath?" Brea laughed.
Jacob laughed.
"So the legend about the Cullen's is?" Bella asked.
"Well, they're supposedly descended from this like an enemy clan....But they claimed to be different, so we made a treaty with them," Jacob said.
"Didn't they just move here?" Bella questioned, looking over at Brea.
"Or just moved back," Jacob shrugged.
"Right! So what was this treaty?" Brea asked.
"If they promised to stay off Quileute lands, we wouldn't expose what they really were to the pale-faces," Jacob whispered.
Brea and Bella both jumped when Angela ran past them screaming....
"Wait-what were they really?" Brea asked.
"It's just a story, Brea...calm down," Jacob laughed.
Deep down Brea knew there was something else...and she wasn't gonna give this up, until she found the truth.
