《~danganronpa chatfic~》chapter 12

well...that was interesting. my face still felt red even though that incident happened an hour ago. I wasn't even reading I was just staring at random stuff. like the floor.
it's a nice floor
"man I gotta stop complimenting the floor" I thought to myself. I fiddled with my fingers and looked outside the window. it was really dark since it was 1:00 am and it was still thundering. from what I learned it was going to keep raining for 2 days.
greattttt
the last thing I need is super loud noises that scares me. as for Kuya he's sitting there and ignoring me like always.
BOOM
"oh my atua-" I thought frantically. I wrapped the blankets around me tighter and looked at the ticking clock above the crackling fireplace. "scaredy-cat" Togami coughed. I blinked, "wha- hey!" I cried. "i'm not wrong" he shrugged. I opened my mouth to object but I closed it. I continued observing the floor.
ding
I checked my phone
"hmph" I crossed my arms while turning off my phone. "she's not wrong y'know" Togami said calmly. "but seriously? a baby kitten?" my shoulders slumped. I know it wasn't that big of a deal but someone saying your not even intimidating kinda lowers your confidence. especially if its your best friend. "I mean baby kittens are cute" Togami shrugged. I shrugged also
"wait..." I thought.
"did you just call me cute?" I asked. he stiffened and I swear his face turned a little pink. "no" he muttered and put his book to his face. "hey! you did!" I cried. "I did not. I said baby kittens were cute" Togami said. "yeah well you were comparing kittens to me so technically you called me cute" I said. "your taking words out of my mouth shut up" he glared. I rolled my eyes and muttered fine. "still frick you" I said pointing my index finger at him. he raised an eyebrow and just lowered my finger. "don't do that" he said reading. my shoulders slumped but I nodded. "at least he didn't hit me with a book" I thought.

BOOM
I practically fell off the chair and hit the floor with a thud. "ow" I muttered. I stood up and Togami just looked at me. "i'm gonna head downstairs" I said pointing and grabbing a blanket. "fine" he said while I walked out of the library.
I walked down the stairs and saw the living room lights on. I heard some talking so I walked in. "hey Naegi-kun!" Sayaka waved. "hey Sayaka" I said sitting down between her and Kyoko. "whats up?" she asked. I shrugged, "could be better" I said.
"UGHHH" Hiro yelled. he laid down in Leon's lap while Leon just sat there confused. "i'm boreddd" Hiro said. "yeah well get off me" Leon sighed. Hiro laughed and shook his head. "let me stay here" he asked. "no" Leon rolled his eyes. THUD. Leon pushed him off and Hiro fell to the floor. "OW" Hiro cried. the room laughed and I laughed a tiny bit also. "really man?" Hiro asked Leon still laying face-first on the floor. "yes now go bother another person" Leon said. "I just want love" Hiro grumbled. "to bad get love from another person" Leon crossed his arms. "awww" Hiro sighed standing up. "push him again" Celeste said calmly. "wha- no" Leon said confused. she shrugged and was holding some tea- wait where did she get the tea?
"hey Celeste how did you get the tea?" I asked her. "magic" she said tilting her head. I blinked. of course she wasn't giving me a straight answer. she always likes confusing me. she pulled out a deck of cards out of nowhere and started shuffling them. "where did you get that?" I asked dumb-founded. she shrugged and continued shuffling. I watched her shuffle the cards with ease. I remember when I was little seeing a magic trick tutorial an doing it. "hey Celeste do you want to see a magic trick?" I asked a little eagerly. she raised an eyebrow, "hm a magic trick?" she asked. I nodded grinning. she sighed and handed me the deck of cards and I took it. I shuffled it a little and spread them out. "pick a card any card" I said not even hiding my grin. she took a card between 2 fingers and looked at it. a few people came over to watch us. "know what it is?" I asked. "yes" she said handing it back face down. I took it and shuffled it in the deck. "is this your card?" I asked holding a card. "no but good try" she said. I laughed, "I know because THIS is your card" I reached behind her ear and pulled a card out of no where.

she clapped lightly. "somehow you got it" she said. I smiled and gave her the cards back. "how did you do it?" she asked curiously. "magic" I said making jazz hands. she sighed, "fine" and continued going back to shuffling her cards. I was technically sitting on the floor and listening in on everyones conversations. Toko was back to Toko and she sat in a armchair fiddling with her braids. like always. Hiro was being clingy and trying to get love from Leon. which failed miserably because Leon kept pushing him off. Kyoko was talking to Celeste and Sayaka was making conversations with anyone really. Mondo and Taka were sitting on a couch holding hands. Chihiro was typing on a familiar computer. Sakura and Hina were chatting about working out and stuff. Hifumi wasn't even here. something about an anime marathon and mourning the canceled anime he talked about earlier. and Togami was just reading in the library.
"hey naegi-kun? you seem deep in thought?" Sayaka poked me. I blinked, "oh yeah sorry just thinking" I said
