Waiting for the results,

My patience grew thin,

I knew we should have used a condom, Now there's no way to win.

Just as I thought,

My suspicions were true, Now comes the decision, Of what I should do.

The day will soon come, For this young teen, When the baby inside, Can plainly be seen.

Do I keep my baby, Whose father's not here, To raise on my own, Despite my own fear?

I could carry to term, And give it away,

For some family to raise, But at what price to pay?

If I choose abortion, What will society say? But if it's right for me, It's the only way.

Confused am I,

As to what I should do, I want what's best,

It's all too new.

Whatever I choose,

It's my choice alone,

Not for others,

To condemn or condone.
