You and Jack hang out in his room the rest of the evening. The two of you talk and laugh, and you have never felt closer to him. It feels like you have known him for a lifetime.

"Do you wanna try meeting the others again? Give them another chance?" Jack asks you.

You nod your head. "OK. That sounds great." You smile and Jack leads you out of his room and into the hallway.

You walk closely behind him, weaving through the maze of hallways. The lights start to flicker above you.

"They always do that." Jack says.

You nod your head, suddenly becoming tense. Did it get colder?

You shiver and get closer to Jack. The lights flicker again.

Suddenly, a light bulb bursts and glass shards fly everywhere.

You jump and clutch onto Jack's arm.

The hallway suddenly becomes much darker.

"Its OK. It always hap-" jacks words are cut off with another crack as another light busts. Then another, then another. Soon, you are both left in complete darkness.

"Jack!" You yell, trying to find him in the darkness.

"Its OK, I'm over here." You try to find him, but it is too dark.

"Jack, I'm scared." You wimper. Your side aches badly. Why did you let him have that kidney?! "I want to go home."

There is no reply.

"Jack? Jack where are you?!" You yell.

Again, there is no reply.

You can feel hot tears drip down your face.

Then, something grabs your arm. An unfamiliar male voice whispers in your ear.

"Hello, there.

The voice is raspy and harsh. You shudder.

"Where's Jack?" You ask shakily.

"Jack had to go. Now you need to come with me." The voice says.

"Who are you?" You ask.

"That doesn't matter. Just come with me." There is a forceful tug on your arm, and you have no other choice than to obey.

The anonymous person leads you the rest of the way down the hall and up a flight of stairs. There is a third story to the mansion? the attic?

You can't tell. You hear metal jingle, then a click as the person unlocks the door. He leads you inside and locks the door behind you. Windows line the wall, and there is a little moonlight coming inside. What little light there is reveals a flash of white, then a sadistic permanent smile.

"I'm glad you could join me tonight, (y/n). This is gonna be fun."
