《Elijah》16

The week was full with me filing papers, working out with Eli, and ignoring my brother. Finally, it was Saturday and I had most of the day to just me and Kendall.
"So what time are you leaving?" she asked me.
We were laying on my bed and watching a movie.
"6:30." I answered.
"This is so exciting. You're gonna be a trophy wife."
"Ken, we've gone on one date." I laughed.
"Almost two and you workout together. Sounds like the beginning to a long and happy marriage."
"I don't-..."
"Also let's not forget how often you two make out," she interrupted me.
"Shut up."
"I wanna see the dress."
"You can see it when I'm about to leave."
She sighed loud and obnoxiously which made me laugh.
"Do me a favor tonight," she began.
"What is it?"
"Get laid."
"KENDALL!" I shouted and shoved her.
"WHAT?! I'm serious!"
"Stop it." I instructed and looked back at the television screen.
"Do you need a condom?"
"I am going to kick you out of my room." I threatened.
"Okay. Fine. I'll stop."
"Thank you."
"..."
"..."
"Use protection."
"SHUT UP!"
...
After another movie I realized time was flying.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Ummm...4:50."
"Oh, shit, I need to start getting ready." I said and hopped out of my bed.
I took a shower and stood in my towel as I did my makeup while music blared through my bathroom.
After I was done, I did my hair then got dressed.
It was 6:15 and I was almost finished.
"How do I look?" I asked Ken as I tried to put in one of my earrings.
"Oh. My. God. WHY AREN'T WE MARRIED?!" she shouted and I laughed. Kendall has always been the best hype man.
"Seriously. If he doesn't sleep with you, I will."
I laughed harder. "Thank you." I smiled.
"Ugh lucky bastard." she stated.

"Who?"
"HIM!" she yelled and I laughed some more.
After about ten more minutes, I received a text that Eli was outside.
"Time to go." I told Ken.
"Okay, have fun, be safe. Do something I would do."
"Yes ma'am." I said as I walked to the door.
"Grab his dick to assert dominance." she instructed.
"Kendall, what the fuck?"
"Never mind. You don't seem like a dominating kind of person. Just say 'yes sir' whenever he tells you to do something."
"What-"
"BYEEEE!!" She interrupted me and began pushing me out of the door.
She slammed it in my face. "I hate her," I joked to myself.
I picked my dress up so it wouldn't drag on the ground and walked to the car. I looked up and noticed the car was different. It was a luxury car from this year.
"Hello, beautiful." he greeted as I got into the car.
His hair was brushed back (like it usually is when he has to do something professional) with a strand or two being the exception. He had on a typical black and white suit with champagne cuff links and I noticed they matched my dress. He was wearing a nice watch and a ring on his hand, accompanying his veins that were showing off. He also smelled so good I wanted to jump onto him and bury my face in his neck.
"Hi." I replied.
"You ready?"
"Yes sir."
He huffed a laugh and mumbled but I could still hear. "You are something else."

The drive was about 45 minutes long and we finally arrived at this large and beautifully lit building.
"Eli." I called him.
"Yes, baby?"
Don't. dooooo. thaaattt.
"This is a large building, sweetheart." I said as we pulled into the parking lot.
"Yes, it is."
I looked at all of the cars we were passing by as he tried to find a parking space.
"These vehicles cost more than my hooouuuseee." I sang to myself.

He finally parked the car and we unbuckled our seatbelts.
"Should I be nervous?"
"No."
"Well, I am." I told him.
"You have no reason to be."
"What if they can tell I'm not rich? I once heard that rich people can smell fear."
He laughed at my nervousness. "Calm down." he instructed. "You're gonna do great. Just stay by me and everything will be fine."
"Do you want me to stay by you so that I'm more comfortable or because you want me to yourself?" I joked and smirked.
"Is both not an option?" he asked as he got out of the car.
I hate that I can never fluster him as much as he does it to me.
I got out of the car and watched as couples walked through the parking lot in their formal wear towards the door.
"Are you ready?" Eli asked and held his arm out for me.
I gave a gentle smile and looped my hand under his arm.
We got to the door and the inside of the building was beautiful. It was covered in gold everything, men were dressed in black and white suits with either hanging ties or bow ties. The women came in all different color gowns. Eyes were on us as we walked in and I figured they were looking at Eli.
"You have a lot of admirers," I whispered to him.
"They're looking at both of us," he said back and that didn't help my anxiety.
We started walking down the steps and it didn't take long for someone Eli knew to come and speak.
"Elijah?!" called some middle aged woman with a lot of surgeries done.
"Hello, Sharon." Eli said back.
"How are you, dear?" asked Sharon and she hugged Eli then gave him a kiss on both sides of his face.
"I'm great, thank you."
"You look just as sharp as ever," she complimented and grabbed onto both of his arms while staring at his body.
We made eye contact.
"And who is this lovely lady?" she asked.
Eli looked at me like I should answer.
"Oh, Leyla." I stated and held my hand out. She shook it with a smile.
"You're beautiful, dear. I'm Sharon Heiss."
"It's very nice to meet you."
"You as well," she said. A smile never left her face. "I was on my way to find my husband when you two stopped me." She laughed. "I suppose I should get back to it. You two have a lovely evening." she said before walking off.
"She was nice." I shrugged as I watched her walk away gracefully.
"She's a whore." Eli stated and grabbed my hand as we walked off in a different direction.
Other people had come to speak to Eli and I stood to the side with his arm around my waist and just heard their conversation. His way of speaking changes when he speaks to them which makes sense.
"Mr. Matthews," called an old man in a commanding voice from in front of us.
"Mr. Loch." Eli greeted.
"How are you, son?" Loch asked and shook Eli's free hand.
"Doing just fine, sir. How about yourself?"
"I'm good, I'm good." The man turned and looked at me and I gave him a gentle smile.
"And who is this striking young lady?" he asked and held out his hand.
"Leyla." I answered and gave him my hand to which he kissed the back of it gently.
"Leyla..." he repeated seductively.
I felt Eli's hand wrap further to the front of my body and it rested on my pelvic bone. His fingers were only a centimeter away from grazing my privates.
"You are beautiful." The man continued. I waited patiently for him to let my hand go.
"Thank you." I smiled to be kind.
Someone had gotten on the mic at the front of the room.
"Good evening, everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Dinner will be served shortly, so if you could all find your seats that would be great. Thank you." they said.
"Elijah."
