I somehow felt relax after explaining my presentation to Ayan. He excused himself and went somewhere, I told him that HR would be here soon and he should stay and rehearse his presentation but he didn't listen to me. I somehow felt relaxed after knowing that this guy is with me in this strange place. Soon HR come over and started explaining rules. I was so worried where Ayan went, I tried calling him but he didn't pick up my call. After 4 failed attempts I put my phone in my bag and started focussing on my work. We had to present individually in the board room and we were about to meet our team leader there only. HR told us about how professional our team leader is, I was already scared of him. What if he didn't like the presentation? What if he didn't let me work here? All these questions were revolving in my head when suddenly HR called us to escort us to the board room. I was quite nervous and worried about Ayan too. I was sure that the team leader will not like if Ayan arrives late. HR asked if everyone was there and I informed her that my friend Ayan will be here in some time. She was kind of shocked to hear me and informed me that no one with the name Ayan is selected for the internship. I ignored her and tried to call him again to which he didn't reply.

Then HR ordered us to switch off our phone and I do as she says. The board room was quite silent and we took our seats as told by HR. Soon two people arrived and with them came Ayan. I gave him a you-are-late-just-sit look and he winked at me. I was taken aback by his reaction. Soon the old looking person introduced himself as the MD of this consulting firm and to my shock, introduced Ayan as our team leader. I was stunned at this information and I'm sure my face became pale which wasn't went unnoticed by Ayan as he smirked at me. I was panting thinking about the words I said to him earlier while explaining my presentation. I thought that he didn't like my presentation and now he will not keep me in his team. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realise the two other men exiting the room. Soon the presentations started and after each presentation, Ayan bombarded the internee with his questions. An intern girl even started crying after his hard interrogation and he immediately ask her to leave as he didn't want her in the team. My turn was the last and I muster up the courage to go forward and repeat my presentation to Ayan who was listening so intently as if he was listening it for the first time. Whole the time of my presentation, I noticed him gazing at me, but I avoid him. Soon the presentation came to an end and he didn't ask me any questions. Indeed, today's day was full of surprises for me.

Soon he left from the board room and I immediately called up Manav telling him the whole story, initially he burst into laughter on my dumbness, he then asked me to calm down and lectured me about his friend being good and helpful. But before I talk to him further, HR called me and order me to go into boss's cabin as he was calling me.

After leaving the meeting room, Myra was continuously calling me and I was intentionally not picking up. 'i was so eager to see her reaction. Soon after that, we went into the board room and after my introduction, Myra looked so pale. I was now eagerly looking forward to work with her. The presentations of other interns were so boring; they have simply devised the theoretical solutions to the problem boosting their bookish knowledge which was not feasible in the reality. I even fired one girl straight away as she tried seducing while presenting her awful presentation. I saw Myra's scared expressions and it made me groan at the sight of her pale face. Soon after all the interns presented, it was her turn, she came forward and started presenting. Although I have already seen her presentation, but the way she was presenting was so attractive that I was not able to tear my gaze away from her. I was gawking at her like a maniac and I decided to talk to her because that's the only solution I can find out what's happening to me. So I went into the cabin after my presentation and asked the HR to call Myra in my cabin. I felt very happy thinking about her talking to me in my cabin alone. Her thought only makes me happy. But I still don't understand how that naive and innocent girl has such effect on me. I can easily get any girl I want, but she was different. She doesn't even care of my money and power. Drifting into her thoughts, I suddenly hear someone knock at the door.

"Come In" I said.
