《Outlander》Chapter 1

Months passed by as I learned I was inside the Marvel universe, realizing the events happening was similar to what my brother, Claude, has been watching countless of times.
From figurines to comics and movies to series. My brother watched all of it. Even attending interviews of Stan Lee and getting some of his Marvel merchandise and collectibles signed by Stan Lee himself.
My brother would talk nonstop all day about his opinions and theories about the movies and even calling himself an avid fan.
As I eventually adapted to life here, not much different from my life in Boston.
And having a soulmate is apparently common in this universe, but having multiple soulmates was rare let alone having ten of them, that's why James said that I should be careful and not let anyone see my marks.
And you'll know when they are nearby when there's an itching sensation in your soulmarks.
I also began to notice that I may have some powers that I didn't know where they came from. I can surprisingly teleport, memory magic, and heal someone.
"via... Rivia... Earth to Rivia." Fergus said, snapping his fingers in front of me.
Shaking my head, "I'm sorry. Did you say something?" I asked as he looked at me worriedly, "Are you okay?" He asked, giving him an assuring smile, "I'm okay, Fergus. No need to worry." I replied as he nodded his head and lightly patted my head.
I was thankful to the three of them as they warmly and wholeheartedly took care of me, treated me as their own sister, gave me shelter, and food.
And in return I help them tend the injuries they get from the missions as the three of them are part of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Organization.
They are agents as to what they told me.
"Are you hungry?" he asked as Ian and James entered the kitchen.
"I heard someone is hungry." James said, teasingly looking at me, earning a chuckle from me.
"Aye." I replied as they laughed at me. Ian helped Fergus cook some food as James set the table.
I was about to stand up when the three of them looked at me, "What you doin'?" Ian asked, "Help you." I replied as they shook their heads.
James approached me, placing his hands on my shoulders, and sitting me down.
"We can handle it." He said, "You don't need to help us. Really." He added, clicking my tongue in disapproval, "You're spoiling me." I mumbled, "We are." They said in unison, earning a chuckle from me.

Later on, Ian placed the pancakes, bacon, toast, and sausages on the table.
"Bon Appétit." He said, "Merci." I replied, earning a smile from him.
As we began to eat, something in their conversation caught my attention.
"I think we found him." James said as Fergus looked at him with wide eyes.
"Really? That's good news then. Director will be happy to hear that." Fergus said and continued to eat as James and Ian nodded their heads.
"We are finding a way to melt the ice and hoping that he is still alive." Ian said.
"He is." I mumbled, knowing exactly who they're pertaining to.
According to what I heard from my brother, Steve Rogers or Captain America, what he was called for was thawed out in the ice and woke up this year, in 2011.
"I suggest that you don't do what you're planning if he ever wakes up." I said as they looked at me.
"What?" Ian asked, "I can read minds. You already know that. What I'm saying is, you shouldn't do that by the time he wakes up." I answered, looking at them.
"Everything is going to be unfamiliar and new to him. And he will eventually notice it immediately given that he's intelligent, especially from the radio you're going to put inside the fake room and letting the two guards in will only agitate him further causing him to break out and run outside." I added.
"So I suggest that you have him placed in a room, not too old but not too modern, let him take his time to adjust and slowly approach him in a manner that he doesn't feel like he's a fish caught inside a net." I finished, looking at them, their jaw dropped, laughing at their expression as I continued to eat.
"Are you a psychic of some sort?" Fergus asked, astonished in his voice.
"Do you know exactly who we're talking about?" James asked as I nodded my head.
"Steve Rogers. Captain America." I replied as Ian covered his mouth, "Damn, woman. How did you know that?" he asked as I laughed at him.
"As I said, I can read your minds. Your thoughts were all too loud." I replied, pointing my spoon to each one of them.
What I said was true, part of the power I had is memory magic wherein I can manipulate, influence, erase, view memories, and read their thoughts.

And thanks to my brother, who rumbled the whole day about what mistake S.H.I.E.L.D. did when Captain woke up.
"We have another mission for tonight. We'll be back late." James said, informing me as I nodded my head.
"Be careful." I said as we finished our breakfast.
☘
"Via, we're leaving." Fergus said as I quickly went downstairs.
It was already half past five in the afternoon, wearing their all black outfit.
"On your feet, soldiers." I said as they kissed my forehead, giving them a smile and waved at them.
Making sure that all doors are locked, I went upstairs and grabbed my notebook below my mattress.
Taking note of what I remembered happened in the movies and what my brother said.
2011
- Steve Rogers woke up.
2012
- Battle of New York
"What else?" I mumbled, biting the end of the ballpen as I tried to think of what happened.
"Oh, Tony calls Loki a diva." I mumbled, chuckling remembering his reaction in the movie realizing Loki will use his tower.
Yawning as I closed the notebook and placed it back under the mattress.
Laying down on the bed looking up at the ceiling as I lifted my wrist up, staring at the marks on my wrist.
My eyes instantly widened as I abruptly got up, still looking at my wrist now realizing who my soulmates are.
I've been thinking this past week about why the marks on my wrist looked familiar.
"Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ." I mumbled, "This is Tony Stark's arc reactor. Steve's shield. The red hourglass of black widow. Thor's hammer. Bow and arrow of hawkeye. I guess the Erlenmeyer flask with green liquid is Bruce. The red star belongs to the winter soldier. Bucky. The horned helmet of Loki. The spider. Oh, shit. Spiderman. And it can't be, this can't be Dr. Strange." I said, analyzing each of my marks.
"Holy rabies. My soulmates are the freaking avengers. Such a dumbass not realizing it earlier." I added, "These were the logos that were practically inside the room of my brother." I said, flopping down at the bed.
Hissing as my head hit the headboard, caressing my head as I adjusted my position.
"Isn't Loki brainwashed?" I mumbled, biting my lips as I tried to remember what my brother said.
"Isn't he the villain?" I asked.
"No, he isn't. In fact, he's misunderstood. Constantly living in his brother's shadow and with the cruelty Odin showed him. He just wants to be loved and that's what Frigga, her adoptive mother, is doing." My brother replied, looking at me seriously.
"It was the mind stone that made him evil. Influencing him, fueling his hatred over his brother and the people of Earth." He added as I nodded my head.
"Mind Stone. Thanos." I mumbled as I got up again.
"Damn that mad purple titan." I added as I paced in my room.
"This is too much." I said as I sat down on my bed.
"Ah, I should get some rest first. And then, I'll plan on what to do with this information." I said as I lay down, closing my eyes and I was out like a light.
☘
Waking up, hearing a clatter downstairs, my body froze as I remembered what caused my death back in Boston.
Is there a thief? Will I die the second time around?
I got up and roamed my eyes around, searching for any possible weapons to use, grabbing a scissor as I slowly opened the door.
Slowly approaching where the noise was, it was coming from the kitchen.
Kitchen? Is the thief hungry?
I continued to quietly head towards the kitchen, the lights were off and a silhouette of a man can be seen rummaging through the pantry.
Standing at a fair distance as I throw the scissor, the man caught it and threw it back to me as some of my hair was cut.
My body froze as the man faced me, exhaling a breath, "Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ. Fergus, you scared me." I said as the lights flicker on.
"Via, I thought you were - what happened to your cheeks?" He asked and seconds later, his eyes widened immediately approached me and ran his thumb on my cheeks.
"I did this. Goodness, how could I. I'm so sorry, Via. I didn't know it was you." He said as I shook my head.
"I did attack you first. I'm sorry too." I replied as he softly dragged me towards the table and let me sit.
"Let me treat that." He said and left to fetch the first aid kit.
The funny thing is, I can heal others however I can't heal thyself.
