The next day.....

Haze's POV

I parked my car at the parking area and got out. I took my bag and turned only to come face to face with Kayla, who was glaring at me. Her pink painted lips were in thin line as she tapped her foot on the ground and her hands crossed over her waist. Her eyes looked like pool of fire that no one want to explore.

"good morning. " she said with a smile and I know she had something she want to say. And that something is not what I'll like.

"g-good... Good morning!"

"not hiding today?" she asked making a dramatic face and I gulped trying to look away from her gaze.

The thing is we've been friend for almost five years now and she understands me well, except for the fact, that I'm actually in love with my brother. I can't tell her, I won't be able to. She likes him, the truth is she like every hot and single guy but her crush on Storm is more than her other....... likes. Now I regret the day I let her meet my brother.

"I-i have class actually. Can we talk later?"

"later? When?"

"sometime around..... Ummmm... Before I die? Okay bye!" I said and tried to leave but her voice stopped me.

"STOP! You can't leave me without a reasonable explanation! Why didn't you tell me!? You moved in with him and you never even bother to tell me. Could've atleast left a message! But no! You decided to go MIA and here you are, trying to hide from me, like I'm going to kill you or put you on sale or something. You're trying to avoid me like I'm a plague!"

"okay.. Stop... Kay-"

"NO! You stupid, son of a bitch! I hate you for not telling me, and you fucking bitch you-" I stopped her by putting my hand over mouth securing it with my other hand and dragging her into the school with me. Everyone looked at us like we are crazy and that was embarrassing.

I finally let go of her hand when we were at the gym room and started hitting me with her not so hurting punches. But her bones from her hand really made it painful. She should stop dieting.

"hey! Hey! I'm sorry! "

"what sorry?! Huh?"

"Are you hitting me because I didn't tell you or for not telling about Storm?!" I shouted back holding her hands and she stopped. She hesitated to answer and I felt a pang of hurt.

My own best friend cares about my brother more than me! I don't know what should I be angry about, her liking my brother or her forgetting that I'm her beat friend so I should be her priority.

"Haze. I-"

"no. I got it. It's always him. " I don't why, what the real reason is. My eyes filled with tears while hers were filled with guilt.

"Haze it's not like that. " she tried to reach me but I backed away from her.

"then what?!!" I shouted and my voice filled the empty gym.

"......"

"It's clear Kayla! It's always him! He's my brother. He's not acquainted with you in any kind, but I am! I should be your first priority but it's always him. " I said and turned to leave but she stopped me, her hands around my waist as she hugged me from behind and I took a few deep breaths to calm myself.

"I'm sorry. Haze. I will stop. But please.. Don't go. I'll never do it again. "

Okay so I was finally successful in keeping Kayla away and she listened to me when I threatened to ignore her for whole my whole life.

It was time to go home and I smiled at the thought. I'm going back home to Storm. Yay! But before that I need to look for Louise and give him his book that I borrowed.

I walked through the hallway of school that now have less people and went toward the boys locker room, where I saw Louise talking to his friends.

I didn't know he have friends.

"hey Louise " I called him and he looked over with a confused look. I showed him his book and he nodded as started walking toward me.

"are you done with notes?"

"yup " I answered as he took the book from my hand and placed it in his bag. "actually.... Uh.... can you tutor me for next test?"

I asked him and he eyed me coldly, well not really cold but like" do I know you"

"oh come on Louise. I don't want to study with Kayla, she'll eat my head. You know how she is. She'll start talking about any guy, like any guy after a few minutes. " I said to him as he sighed and nodded.

"I'll text you my address. "

"okay great. " I said with a smile " I'm going now Storm's waiting for me at home. "

He raised a brow at me and shook his head.

"I don't need the details, now go. "

"okay"

I got home and got ready. Storm wanted to take me to his company Because I keep bugging him and asking him about what kind of gadgets he is making now, what applications he designed. I've seen the prototypes in his lab at home but I want to see functional one. Or maybe I wan to spend most of my time with him.

"Young master, the driver's waiting outside. "

"just a minute, Hilda. And call me Haze. " I said and quickly styled my hairs and spraying some cologne I ran out of my room.

"careful young master "

"it's Haze, Hilda. " I shouted as I ran to the door to see the driver ready. I nodded at me when he greeted. I sat in the car and started driving to the company building.

I'm so excited.

I quickly got my phone out and started to message Storm.

I smiled at our text and told the driver to stop to buy him coffee. Coffee alone seemed plain also bought us sandwiches. After that, the driver took me to the building and talked to a security guard, who accompanied me to Storms floor.

I walked toward the reception area and saw the girl talking over phone animatedly, checking out her nails.

I think I made a trip to drama land. I laughed at the thought and stopped in front of her desk.

She looked at me, checking me out as she smiled, putting her phone down she turned to me completely.

"good afternoon. What can I do for you?" she said leaning forward, exposing her cleavage and twirling her hair in her fingers. I laughed at the way she talked, mentally. She made it sound like I'm at some sex parlor.

Hello.. Auntie. Can't you see I'm a teenager. I want to say that to her face, but I stopped myself.

"I'm here to see Storm Dominquez. "

"oh. Do you have an appointment? I don't he has any appointment with a kid like you. "

"or you can call him and say that Haze Dominquez is waiting for him at reception area. " I said, making a point that I don't fucking need an fucking appointment to see my own man- brother.

Her expression changed as her eyes widen and she quickly called someone, maintaining her posture and I saw another girl walking toward me. She looks decent.

"Mr Dominquez. I'm Claire, your brother's secretary. Follow me I'll take you to him. " she said with a smile and I nodded.

"Thank you. I was wishing that auntie to stop pushing her breast at my face. " I said with a groan and she laughed.

"Then I'm glad I got there before she rapes you. " She said with a teasing tone and we laughed.

"woah!!!" My eyes widen s she walked me through a password protected section. It was freaking lab, there were people behind the glass in white lab coat, working on machinery, robots and I saw a monkey too. "this is so cool. Did you guys made these?"

"This is where we design our products. Mr Dominquez let other personals try their experiment giving everyone an opportunity to exceed their limits and invent something new. "

"this is amazing. " I said as glued myself to one of the experiment room.

"if you're only amazed by this, I wonder what you'll do after seeing the main laboratory. " I heard his voice and quickly turned with a smile on my face to look at him. He had a smirk on his face.

"hey" I said with a smile and his secretary excused herself. He smiled looking at me.

"You brought my coffee. "

"yeah. And sandwiches, just in case. " I said showing him and he laughed.

"Come on, love , let's take you to my office. " he said as he took his coffee from me and held my hand. I blushed from his simple action and looked round if anyone sees us but the people didn't even seem to notice us.
