a fraction of what and who you actually are
held together by thousands of little details
that i've constructed over time
i made you up
for you to comfort me
when i feel as if i'm alone
even in this world full of people
on every inch of land
and i know you're not real
even when i can practically hear your voice
and feel your touch
but as pathetic as it sounds
i keep you around
because it's better than not having anyone
