Once upon a time,

There lived a girl just fine.

Playing with the rain and the air,

Everything to her was just and fair.

Then one day came

The big big one,

The laughs were some,

But who invited the pain?

The big big one

Brought many more days.

She no longer laughed,

She no longer played.

Shutting off the world,

Shutting off herself;

She even shut down,

Her own sense of self.

Time trickled by.

Sand dripped by.

The girl who once played,

Was no longer the same.

Well well don't worry,

The story continues on;

The girl is surely silent,

But her game is still on.
