Sometimes it feels,

Like I'm desperately

Trying to hold

Unto happiness.

I want to grab it,

Tightly, and never let it go;

Like I'm fighting with my life,

To have some of it.

There's yet another day,

When something feels off;

A memory, a flashback,

Perhaps a realisation.

And then everything

Plummet down and down,

And I try and clutch

The falling happiness.

Please not again.

Please not today.

I want to feel happy,

Just for once again.
